The full fix was going to take days cause they'd have to gut the whole phone and on the phone this was never mentioned. I was told that because i also had a battery put in (which was aftermarket and had information smudged off of it in two places i noticed) that i would only be refunded $140 of $180. Sure you put in a new battery, but i cant really use it..i'm sending it to insurance (Which will cost me $200 deductible ). so i can have i truly fixed phone. I wish i could give a better review, but they weren't going to help me until i gave a negative one (initial offer was only %15 another 139 charge). And i'm still out $40 and right back where i was before. The initial person looking at my phone apparently thought the bend in the phone wouldn't effect another screen as it had the last. The actual technician seemed very knowledgeable. All in all unfortunate, but a huge hassle.

Absolutely pathetic with the work they do. I went to get the top screen of my 2ds xl replaced,…read morewhich was the only thing that was broken, only to get it back with a cracked bottom and top shell, dust/dirty bits that are inside the stop screen, and the bottom touchscreen's touch not even working! I brought it back to them to get the bottom screen fixed, and after I got it, while it senses taps, the touches are never in the right place, even with me calibrating it multiple times. Absolute waste of money. Their student discount, is abysmal, and the service is just so bad. More things are broken getting my device back, than what was originally needing to be repaired. I recommend looking at another repair shop and staying away from this one as much as possible. Spend your money on a better service, and for those who actually deserve it.

Terrible customer service. My aunt bought an overpriced cell phone case, poor quality. Anyway, she…read morefound one online that same evening and decided to purchase it. We decided to return her other case back to Cellairis the next day. I went into the mall for her and gave the receipt and case back to the employee there who told me that she could not do returns. When I asked why she said that she was not authorized, nor was she trained to do so and that I would have to come back when they had some other employees at the store. I told her that we didn't live close and that the phone case that was purchased was for my aunt and she was returning home to where she lives and we would not be able to come back. So I insisted that something be done to help us out and she said she couldn't do anything. I insisted that she call a manager and get the approval to offer the return and she said that she could not call him and that I would have to because his number is a long distance number. So I had to use my phone and called twice with no success at all. Chris was his name and he was the manager who hired the girl at the counter. Chris, why would you leave a seemingly nice girl, untrained, and alone at your store? You are a bad manager and have set her up to fail. The girl at the counter then said that we could try and call Laura, another employee of the store. Laura is the reason I am writing this review. The first thing that she explained was that I would be charged a 20% restocking fee. I read their return policy........... In order to receive either a FULL REFUND or full value for an exchange, then you must (i) be returning a NEW AND UNUSED ITEM item that has never been opened (if the item was in a package); (ii) bring the item back ONLY to the store where you purchased the item; (iii) within 7 days of the purchase of the item; (iv) with the original receipt. If you choose to exchange the item for a more expensive item than the item you had originally purchased, then you would owe the difference in price, and if you choose to exchange the item for a less expensive item than the one you had originally purchased, then you will receive a refund for the difference. For undamaged used items or undamaged items that have been opened (if the item was in a package) then you will receive either a refund of the purchase price less a restocking fee of 20% of the purchase price (unless the restocking fee is prohibited by law) or you can exchange the item and receive a credit of the purchase price less a 20% restocking fee as long as you (i) bring the item back ONLY to the store where you purchased the item; (ii) within 7 days of the purchase of the item; (iii) with the original receipt. If you choose to exchange the item(s) for a more expensive item than the item(s) you had originally purchased, then you would owe the difference in price, and if you choose to exchange the item(s) for a less expensive item than the one you had originally purchased, then you will receive a refund for the difference. Any applicable restocking fee will not apply if you choose to exchange the item for another item of equal or greater value. I was returning a NEW AND UNUSED ITEM not an UNDAMAGED USED ITEM or UNDAMAGED ITEM THAT WAS OPENED. Laura thinks she understands the policy. She clearly doesn't. Not every return should be charged a restocking fee. There are two paragraphs listed here for a reason. When I asked about that she told me that my item wasn't new because my Aunt's phone was placed into it after she had purchased the phone, by the clerk who sold it to her. The case was in perfect condition. Back to the phone call. As I was trying to explain the company's policy to her, the employee, she became rude, demanding, condescending, and finally hung up on me. The clerk at the store had to call her back to learn how to do the return. I finally said return the item and keep the restocking fee because I knew that I would not be able to return to the mall that week. One of the things Laura tried to use to justify their "strict" return policy was tell me that Forever 21 doesn't even offer returns. I guess she tried to tell me that to make me feel better that I had to pay Cellairis money to return my item. When I told her that Kohl's accepts anything back she told me that that is not even the same thing and that I can't compare their store with Kohl's. I didn't know Forever 21 was a cell phone accessory store. News to me. To the girl who couldn't process a simple return, find a new job. It is clear Chris and Laura don't care much about you when they leave you untrained to handle the everyday situations that a person in your position should know how to take care of.

I do NOT recommend The Fix for phone repairs. Went here to get my phone screen replaced last month…read moreafter an issue with the touchscreen, and the person who replaced the screen did not put my phone back together properly, causing my phone to be unusable if not on wifi, poor audio, no network signal, camera problems, and not being able to vibrate. The person who replaced my phone screen also did not address these issues when I brought them up prior to checking out as I did not have any signal after he "reassembled" it. He also did not issue any receipt. I had to take my phone to another repair shop (All About Phones in Iowa City - HIGHLY RECOMMEND) to put my phone back together properly. The person at All About Phones was able to determine that the person from The Fix didn't put all the screws back in, and the ones that were in were in the wrong spots. The aspect that makes your phone vibrate is now missing from my phone (phone will not vibrate without it - person at The Fix just didn't put that component back in). My antenna was not properly reconnected, so I had no signal, the camera and audio outputs weren't working because they were not connected properly and had the wrong screws in place interfering with their connections. It was not even properly sealed back together. Update: the screen the fix put on my phone has to be fully replaced now because it had so many issues with neon lines showing, ghost touches, dead zones where no touch would register, and being completely unusable. It's worse than my original screen that I had replaced. If I could give zero stars, I would. Will be trying to contact this company for a refund.
