1st visit. Good sized patio with lots of shade. We sat inside on the bar side, as it was very warm out. I was pleased that the air wasn't blasting, it was just right. Really good vibe inside and out. The food was excellent. Started with the fried cauliflower, just enough heat in the sauce. Steak tacos, chicken Madeira and the pork tenderloin, all very good. We finished with the blueberry cheesecake whip, which was a winner. One comment from youngest in the group was that portions are on the small side. Maybe slightly but it was plenty. We were warned that they had 2 large parties but our food still came out in a timely manner. Maison was friendly and very professional, and the manager checked on us too. Had party of 13 and ate on the patio. We celebrated a birthday and the service was incredible! Our server was so fun and efficient! She really helped make our evening. The manager also came by and was great too. The food was super good. The cocktails also tasty and potent! Not 4/5 Star but has potential. Huge wait staff which is nice but takes a long time to get a drink. We were excited to try their cauliflower tacos but after waiting 15 minutes for a drink we finally ordered our tacos just to find out 10 minutes later they were out of the tacos. Not a great experience. Also, we were told several times they were planning on rolling out an in-house made bean burger option but haven't seen on the menu yet. Will go back when they get the bean burger on the menu and update my post. read more

It's a nice place. My chicken sandwich was really over cooked and dry. My buddy ordered the fish sandwich and he said it was excellent. Sounds like they have a nice dinner. I'll try it again and go from there. read more

My wife and I tried Parallel 47 for the first time last Sunday and it was a memorable experience for all the right reasons. From the delicious craft cocktails to the final bite of desert, we left with a positive experience. They have live music with beautiful outdoor seating. This is one of the only places I have been to in North Idaho where the executive chef goes table to table making his rounds to ensure quality was delivered. We highly recommend! read more

The food is great but the service in the bar is disappointing to say the least. There is clearly a 'boys club' mentality going on here. The male bar tenders seem to think they are 'too cool' to serve clients and yet the girls are cheery and hustling their butts off. Must be poor leadership from the top. And why are staff/managers at the at the end of the bar constantly on a laptop. Strange to say the least ... isn't there an office for that? Great food, great ambience and outdoor space. The food is incredibly overpriced. Nothing is locally sourced or made by the local community. Their choice for salad meals is thin. They are clearly catering to clientele that came here with deep pockets. So if you are the wealthy bunch who summer in CdA this is great for you. Food and drink were good if a little pricey. We would have liked to had a table rather than a high top. We asked to move when one became available and were told that the section is closed to facilitate live entertainment. Then they sat another party there? Meanwhile, we were a party of two at a six seat high top while they were turning larger parties away. Like I said food and drink were good. Organization is a little iffy. read more

It was mediocre, they have like 4 things on the menu. The owner doesn't know what brown people look like so he carded us and not other people that came in. Looked at me and wouldn't give me my drink. Great outdoor patio. Inside can get crowded but is also very nice. Wait staff is very good. Mixed drinks are the specialty. Some draft beers on tap (but all good ones). Occasionally has live music. read more

The food here is really good, the service is fine, and the appetizers are an absolute rip off. You pay $18 for 4 shrimp, or even worse, you can pay $11 for one cut up and breaded pickle. The burgers are fantastic. It's a nice place with good food, but everything outside of the burgers is overpriced, in my opinion. read more

Big thumbs up. Went here with friends who had been before. Beautiful evening so sat outside in a very nice patio area. Duo provided live music and these two guys were outstanding. Loud enough but still allowed for table conversation. Staff was great beginning with the two hostesses, followed up by terrific table service. Drinks to table quickly, wonderful appetizers followed shortly thereafter. Wine selection was nice and prices very fair. Good choices for beer and extensive cocktail suggestions. Nice entree selection with wide range of prices to meet multiple moods. Entrees very, very good. Not who is training the personnel here but can declare success. Just great young crew. This used to be my hands-down favorite restaurant in the area. They make the best burger I've ever had and amazing food. Today when we were there for lunch however there was a really weird vibe. Service was slow yet still friendly. I ordered the chicken, avocado club sandwich for the first time in an attempt to try something new. I figured I may as well find a new favorite item on the menu. Upon tasting it, it was super disappointing...tasteless and the chicken was dry and tough as well. After sitting with my sandwich and eating only a few of the fries for about 10 minutes, the server finally came by. I told him that I didn't love my sandwich and would love it if I could just be charged for a side of fries. The response was odd - he said he would go to the back and "see what he could do. Shortly thereafter someone who was maybe the owner or manager came by and asked me to explain exactly what was wrong with the sandwich. The response was interesting - I never received an apology from this person and tried to explain what I found disappointing as politely as I could. I also referenced that this was one of my favorite restaurants and that I have loved their food every time I come in... even pointing out my favorite items on the menu. The server did apologize when presenting the bill. We were however bizarrely charged for the meal I didn't eat and offered a side of fries to take home as some kind of consolation apparently. I am beyond disappointed and honestly don't know if I'm ever coming back. Super bummed as this was as I've said before one of my favorite restaurants and also a restaurant that I recommend to everyone I know who lives in the area. I'm also done recommending this place to people. Having worked in the restaurant industry before I know it is a hard job - however customer service should be number one and no restaurant should place themselves above their customers. read more

One of the best restaurants I've been to in awhile! The service, the ambiance, the food and drinks... by far the best! We sat outside with a table of 9 and 2 toddlers, and our server was exceptional! The food was outstanding, and the drinks were even better! The staff around us kept helping me out, as my toddler kept throwing his pacifier. They definitely did not have to do that, and I've never experienced that at a restaurant. They got his food out first, and anything we needed, they were there and happy to do it!
