I am so happy that I decided to come here. The gentlemen were super quick the pricing was awesome…read morefor service I got. From the time I got there to when I left was about an hour and a half. I will be bringing my friends and family here. They gave great recommendations and my car feels amazing in this Florida heat.

Update: The response from the owner is odd and appears to shift the blame/responsibility to me (the…read morecustomer) for today's appointment not taking place. To reiterate: 1. This business was closed more than an hour after it was supposed to be opened. 2. I had an appointment. Why would a responsible business begin handling personal matters before verifying the day's schedule? Why would a business that is supposed to be open all more than a half hour to go by with even checking for new customers?! Again, I arrived at 8:43 and departed at 9:20! 3. I called SIX TIMES! When someone finally answered (and didn't hang up on me) more than an hour later, there was no offer of consideration to salvage the appointment. No, " Hey ...sorry you drove all the way here for an appointment and I IGNORED you because I was too busy cleaning my car. How about I throw in a discount for your inconvenience?" Instead, I got..."if your number wasn't made private it would have gone differently." No, I think this morning was for the best. Now, I can ensure my money goes to a business that is willing to demonstrate it values my business...even if that means I pay a bit more. For me, great customer service is a top priority. I won't respond to any further comments from this business. Buyers...beware! ________ I reached out to this business by phone on last Sunday to request a quote for removal and replacement of the tint on my back window. I was quoted approximately $130. Because I wanted a more definitive quote, I drove to the business on Friday and was quoted $130 for the standard tint and $180 for ceramic. I scheduled and appointment for today (Sunday) at 9am to have the ceramic tinting done. When I arrived at 8:43am, the first thing I noticed was that the lights were off. Given that the business claims to be open from 8am-5pm seven days a week, I found it odd. However, the closer it got to 9am without anyone coming to the door the more anxious I became. I got out of my car and knocked on the door TWICE before 9am with no answer. So, I began calling the number on the door. The first time, the phone was answered by a male who said "Hello" but who did not respond nor confirm when I asked if I had reached the business in question. The person then hung up and did not answer any of my follow-up calls. I also made several attempts calling secondary number that was printed on a sheet of paper and taped to the door. Again, no answer. At 9:12, I made a final attempt and left a voicemail sharing that I was currently at the business waiting for my scheduled appointment. I said I would wait 5 more minutes. Instead, I waited 8 and left at 9:20am. At 10am, I decided to call again to see if someone would answer. I didn't want to provide a negative review if there was a valid reason for the business not being open and ready to provide service. The phone was answered after a few rings and person provided a pretty insincere 'apology' and shared that he was 'in the back cleaning my car'. That was it. No genuine apology. No reasonable explanation. Just a cavalier and ambivalent attitude regarding the loss of business and poor customer service experience provided. Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend this business. Today, they have truly earned this 1-star review.

I called to schedule a mobile appointment to come to my home to fix my windshield, was told there…read morewere no available appointments for mobile service. I had no other options but go in person 30 mile drive each way. When I arrived at this location I saw 10 mobile service vans parked. I entered the lady at the front desk said,"we are overbooked then said we don't have enough mobile technicians", with an arrived. Please explain to me how I see safelite commercials that advertise "we come to you". This is not the first time, I have never been able to successfully schedule for mobile service without the same result. This is not how a successful business is run. My suggestion is to cut back on tge commercials and use that money to hire mobile service techs. I will also express my concerns with my car insurance company. The Crack repairs done on my windshield were very small but still noticeable. The tech told me that if the Crack got worse during the repair because pressure is put on the glass during the process, I would be responsible for any costs to replace the glass. Not sure how that works, if your process makes the Crack worse shouldn't safelite be responsible. If I take my car in for a repair and the mechanics make it worse I am not responsible for the additional repairs they are. Your policy makes no sense at all.

The technician who came to my house from Safelite was friendly, professional, and did a great job…read morereplacing my windshield. No complaints whatsoever about the tech himself. Likewise, the customer service agent at the Safelite location was friendly and helpful during the calibration visit. What was disappointing -- and honestly somewhat absurd -- was the overall process. Safelite came to my house to replace the windshield, but then informed me they could not calibrate my vehicle's safety system onsite. So after waiting around my house during a 5-hour appointment window for the convenience of "mobile service," I still had to drive to the Safelite location and wait again for the calibration to be completed. In total, my windshield replacement ended up costing me more than 8 hours of my time. That completely defeats the purpose of having someone come to your house in the first place. At this point, I'd love for one of Safelite's executives to sit in a room and stare at a wall for 8 hours just to fully appreciate the customer experience they created here. This feels like a textbook example of how large companies and their executives lose sight of customer needs -- designing processes that may work operationally on paper while completely ignoring the real-world inconvenience placed on the customer. If calibration is commonly required for modern vehicles, set expectations upfront or coordinate the service so customers aren't effectively forced into two separate appointments. Great technician. Friendly staff. Broken process.
