I was told by staff about an on call number but I didn't bring the paper with me and I did not want to call at 3am once the event was over so I informed them the next day when I woke up. The manager basically tries to focus on the text I sid not call the on call number and as I stated to him, I was told to make sure all 6 buttons were on ,The End! I paid 153.00 for something we could not utilize. The manager was rude and showed no compassion. I promise I would never use this company for ANYTHING else!!! A quiet, suface street store with olive oils, vinegars, jams, mustards and serving pieces and so much more. The lady who helped us Patty, was very helpful and friendly. It's pretty bare bones inside (two small tables and a handful of chairs), but the staff was friendly and helpful. I settled on a fried fish and shrimp combo, with fries, and everything was delicious. The breading had just the right kick of garlic, and the fries were seasoned, as well. It was hard not to eat everything on the car ride home. Portion sizes were pretty generous- three good sized fish filets and ?7 jumbo shrimp (I ate a few on the ride and didn't count the tails afterwards... sorry!). Plus the fries and two petite hush puppies. Easily the best food I had during my weekend in Mobile.

I ordered a steamed shrimp poboy and cup of gumbo. The gumbo was served nice and hot. The flavor of the gumbo was ok, but the texture just seemed slightly slimy. It had shrimp and crab meat as proteins. The okra really just overshadowed everything. I loved the flavor of the Cajun sauce in the shrimp Poboy, but it was just was too salty. The shrimp on the poboy were tiny and lukewarm at best. The bun was tough and chewy, almost like a Cortazzo roll from Louisiana, just not my thing. Also sampled the steamed shrimp wrap, same sauce also shrimp were lukewarm. When I think steamed shrimp on anything, I think fresh large and hot gulf coast shrimp, not tiny thumbnail size shrimp barely warm. I want to give it another try in case this was just an off day for the steamed shrimp.
