The office was very easy to find in the Bank of Hawaii building across Pali Momi. The office was clean with good music and we were taken in at our appointment time. Dr Davis was very nice and he did a great job checking my son's eyes and we were able to get some prescription drops. I was very impressed with the convenience of this office location and hours I may come here as a patient myself.

I reviewed on yelp. Then decided to give them a call. I first talked to Lisa on the phone. She was able to answer all of my many questions on the spot. I inquired about contacts and my benefits. Their availability was pretty good where they could see me right away. Being that it was my first time, I was running late and had to call twice to find the location. But it was Google Map's fault haha. Lisa gave me perfect directions. When I got there, they didn't treat me as if they were irritated that I was late. They were very understanding. Dr. Miwa and Lisa are so genuine, caring and honest. Dr. Miwa is very thorough when it comes to the care of my eyes. He's a long time optometrist in the Aiea/Pearl City community. When I choose providers for me, the one thing that is so important to me is how I'm treated and if I feel respected and valued. Mr. Mina's office makes me feel very valued.

I had interactions with 4 different people that day all 4 four were great! Help at home and treated me as family not just another customer. First person was the receptionist, young girl with glasses, helped me fill out forms and answered questions about my insurance coverage. Second person was the lady in the back that blew air into my eyes. Third person was the eye doctor, talked story and made me feel at ease when doing the whole " 1 or 2" exam. And last person I had during the experience was the lady with her side computer that informed me of all my different payment options, and covered in great details about the glasses and work safety glasses my insurance covered, End of the day this is the only place I will be going for all my eye needs.

I took him to his ophthalmologist, who gave him a prescription. Cousin was so excited to go to Lenscrafters at Pearlridge Mall... he said it was the best store because you get your glasses in an hour! Located on the upper level of "Uptown Pearlridge", right next to Macy's, we were greeted by Ross. He was very friendly, patient, knowledgeable, and helpful! I told him that cousin thinks he can get glasses in an hour... not true anymore. Depending on the prescription, glasses might be ready in about 10 days. Ross told me how much insurance would cover and that there's a 20% discount after that! Yay! This location is very spacious, organized, clean, and bright! We had a great experience! Thank you, Ross... you are EXCELLENT!!! I was amazed at how you treated each customer with respect and remained cheerful during the entire time that I was there!

Hands down the best receptionist I have ever encountered at a medical/optometrist office is Amy. She is the only reason why I keep coming back to this practice. Amy is extremely proficient with all aspects of the office and customer needs; she can recommend how to use your insurance to the fullest extent possible. This woman knows her stuff, or will know how to find out! Overall, Dr. Fusato is usually a calm, well mannered guy but he seems to have a short temper. When he's upset, for whatever reason, it's definitely noticeable and uncomfortable for all. His facial expression and crabbiness will be very apparent--he's having a rough day with everyone in the world, so just back off and do as instructed. I have unfortunately experienced this on 2 separate visits/years. It's not the best place to be when in this state. The day I went in, the office looked really cluttered and unorganized. I saw muliple personal items of the staffs just left around in the office... When I was doing the eye exam, I could not see well on one eye, was wondering why....then after a while I figured their machine lense was dirty, and I had to tell the Dr. it was the lense. I have never had that happen to me at an eye doctor before. The price I got over the phone was 4100 dollars for military dependent. My friend who was also a military dependent at the time paid 3800 for both eyes. I negotiated with the Dr. and he said he could do it for 3900. A month later, I got a bill for thier FREE consultation priced over $240. I was stunned because on the website it said free and even the day of the consultation, I made sure with the receptionist as well. (Matter fact I have never seen any eye doctor who does not do free consultation for lasik). I called the office to have the matter corrected numerous times and the lady who is in charge of billing never picks up her phone so I left voice messages every time, yet NEVER calls me back. I went on their website again and they clearly say free consultation. On top of that, now I found the price list for lasik and they quoated me higher price than what it is listed on their websited even after the negotiation. This business is a scam. I would never ever get anything done here if I were you. I totally believe the one star review someone else left about this Dr. office.

They didn't:( so I started searching for an eye doctor that could fit me in ASAP. I called a few places, many of which could not see me for a few weeks. I finally found Hawaii Vision Clinic and spoke to a super sweet receptionist who fit me in for this morning(called yesterday afternoon). I was checked in quickly, which was awesome given that their waiting area was full. Dr. Wong was quick but efficient and super easy to talk to. He was able to identify what was going on and gave me eye drops. I'm very happy to have found this office, and will be back again when I need to.
