I put my name on a wait list. 20 min later, I noticed many people had returned their skate assists. There were probably 6 of them behind the desk. I probably asked 5x or more if it was our turn on the wait list, every time I was told no. At one point the girl said "you're welcome to walk around out there with your own child" I have a hurt shoulder and a prosthetic hip, otherwise I would've :( Long story short, my son sat on the bench next to the skate rentals, waiting for his turn on the wait list, fighting back tears. In the 45+ min we waited, no one from the wait list ahead of us collected a single skate trainer. And we were repeatedly told we couldn't use one. I definitely understand waiting our turn, but when no one ahead is coming to collect them..... The guy at the skate rental place when we first arrived was super nice tho! But the girls I wasn't impressed with.

On the day of our wedding, he curated the vibe perfectly and made everything flow smoothly. We didn't need to worry about a single thing knowing that Mike would manage the flow and energy. Our dance floor was so energetic and we got lots of compliments on his upbeat demeanor. A real highlight for our guests was his suggestion entirely, starting dinner with a "Dance for Your Dinner" which got the energy up and primed everyone to get down on the dance floor later. We also opted for uplighting through MR DJ, which was totally worth the money. We really loved the old Hollywood style lights, they added such a cool vibe to our dance floor and our photos. I have a little bit of ADHD... so as new ideas would pop up into my head, I would add it to the plan, change something here and there which Heather gracefully made work. Heather set me up for success with templates that kept the important things in order. The day of timeline could not have been more perfect. Heather's team checked in with me multiple times throughout the evening to make sure I had enough food, water, drinks etc. I really felt like a bride! There was one notable hiccup during the planning process where I let the stress of it get the best of me and I was not kind to Heather. I thank her for not taking this personally and for not making me feel like a bridezilla. She took my moment with grace and we moved forward together. Heather is a calm, professional quirky yet assertive spirit. I highly respect her and everything she does. We could not be more fortunate to have chosen Heather Reagan as our coordinator.
