Came to eat lunch on a Thursday at 12:15pm. Literally only one other table in the whole restaurant. We ordered off the lunch menu and shared the veggie samosas, saag paneer, veggie coconut kurma, plus there was rice and two sides of naan bread. Total was about $40 with tip. The food was delicious! Hot and fresh and so flavorful. Everything tasted great. I knocked off 1 star only because our waiter was quite slow even though no one was there. He was very quiet and nice but it took awhile to get out checks and to pay. Overall I would come back and try something different next time! read more

Visited this place and let me tell you. They definitely know how to cook goat. I ordered the garlic goat curry along with the regular goat curry. Goat was tender and the curry made both ways was very tasteful. I paired both dishes with an order of garlic naan, perfect combo. These dishes come with a serving of flavored rice. I received a complementary plain naan which I'm great full. I would recommend this place to you all Utah Indian food chasing yelpers. read more

I ordered food to go and had never been here so I was eager to try. I paid $25 for chicken tikka massala and naan with a tip. The gentleman I spoke with when I walked in was very rude and there was no one in the restaurant. Got home to eat and it's under cooked...so sad. read more

Food was incredible- everything we ordered was amazing! I can't wait to come back and bring my kids this time!

Delicious food and friendly people and atmosphere. Muruga malai tikka kebab was amazing.

This is the real thing. When we were there the majority of the clientele was Indian. My Indian friend who took me there guided me through and verified it was excellent. read more

Seems very nice - authentic. I ordered and paid online for a pickup, and I arrived at the designated time, but they had no clue. Had to wait another 20 mins to get my to-go order. Frustrating. Food was great tho. read more

Came here on a Saturday night at 6:45ish. Got a table easily and the food came out quickly. Everything we ate was very flavorful and delicious! Will not overlook this place any longer. It can definitely hold its own against any other Indian restaurant in the area. My wife and I enjoy spicy food, and everything was spiced perfectly. Not too hot, but enough to make your nose run a little. Will definitely come back soon. They are open late, so even more likely is that I'll get some butter chicken to go next time I have a late night craving. Give this place a try, if you haven't already. read more

One of the worst places anyone can ever visit. Their food is no where close to the standard and their management provides the worst service ever received. We went on a Sunday evening the restaurant was not even that busy as it even had empty tables. We start of by giving couple of vegetarian biryani and 2 non vegetarian biryani (one was not available so we had ordered another). We waited for about 45-50 minutes and were told vegetarian biryani is not something they can provide today. AFTER 45 MINUTES. We were forced to order Punjabi Sabji and within minutes we ordered that. 20 minutes pass by the non veg biryani or our Punjabi order is still not served. I went to the manager little private and explained that we weren't updated about out of stock options 45 minutes after waiting for an order and even after placing an alternate we are still waiting. He said food will be right out but was not out for another 25 minutes that's 45 minutes more for another item. I was wondering if veg biryani was not available why wasn't non veg biryani brought out atleast and when it was finally served it was cold and the one item we had asked which was out of stock was served along with the alternate we chose so, instead of 2 biryani we got stuck with 3 all non veg ofcourse so not everyone was able to enjoy the cold biryani. The Punjabi Sabji was good but the Naan was literally non chewable. It felt like they were forcing me to eat inedible food to make sure I never return again. The food was so bad we literally had to ask the manager in front of everyone what's happening. They explained they were understaffed. Something which I had told the manager when I went to see him one on one, that we understand you are understaffed but if only their current staff had the courtesy to check right after we placed the ordered we could have easily gone to another place but they made us wait until after 9:30 by when everything is closed. Please do not waste your time visiting this worst place we literally stayed hungry for 1.5 hours and after that none of us felt like eating anything based on the service. The worst part of it all was the management did not seem apologetic at all. Kept on claiming this never happens, but it happened to us. We paid our bill (despite of me asking clearly that based on what we experienced we shouldn't have to pay a penny). We left and everyone felt so down because of the service. Please trust me if you want food there are million better places to visit then this worst service hellhole. read more

excellent food and excellent service. Niyaz provided outstanding service. Try the chicken Hakka noodles, they are delicious.

I really liked the food here! I'm pretty picky when it comes to Indian food but as not disappointed

I don't even know fully what I ordered. I think it was the coconut chicken something? Whatever it was I want to eat and drink it for the rest of my life. I ordered it mild because my 5 year old was dining with me. Still didn't lack flavor. She initially was very skeptical of it all, but ended up licking some of it off her plate like a puppy. I don't blame her. I regret not doing the same. I also ordered the garlic naan. I could eat that all the live long day, too!! Ugh. Gimme all the tasty naan. The rice was fluffy and subtly seasoned to perfection. The service was friendly and very accommodating! They close in between lunch and dinner service, but didn't rush us out like we expected. I really appreciate them letting us stay and chat. 5-star experience here. Will visit again. read more

Delicious every time!!! Improved atmosphere and bar has been added, so it's a little warmer and cozier!!

No fresh garlic on the garlic naan, out of mango lasi, masala chi served in a to-go coffee cup, service was slow and poor. Bringing the garbage bin out to bus tables while guests are eating, very poor taste. No music, no ambiance. Food was sub par compared to other Indian restaurants. read more

The food was AMAZING. The food was well worth the wait (which wasn't super long mind you). The servers were so kind and helpful. We got exactly what we wanted. Highly reccomend. 2 thumbs WAY UP! read more

First time at this restaurant and I will be back. I ordered the Tikka Masala and the sauce was delicious! Cooked to order, fresh, rich flavors. Can't wait to try other items on the menu. read more

The service was slow, not just for me but when I walked in, one table was waiting for the check for awhile. I ordered togo, it took me 30 minutes to get my food. While I was waiting I was constantly swating flies away, there are half a dozen sticky fly traps along the front window, that's quite gross. The food itself was good, I think. I couldn't eat any of it, because it was too spicy. I do like spicy food, but I want to be able to eat it. I ordered medium, and of 3 dishes I ordered, only one was tolerable if I smothered it with raita. After trying to eat a few bites of any of it, I had to chug water and wait 5 minutes, before the heat went away. That heat level makes it hard to enjoy. This was a couple weeks ago, so I got wings, chicken biriyani, and another goat curry I believe. I even took it home and tried to mild it, before I threw it away a week later. Lastly, I had to pay cash, and she couldn't give me proper change, so I left a bigger tip. read more

The butter chicken is the best I've had anywhere. The papadam are great, just beware of a little heat in the mint sauce. I just wish there was a buffet so we could try other dishes too. I've tried a dozen Indian/Himyalan restaurants in the valley, and Turmeric is my favorite. read more

We usually order Hyderabadi chicken Dum Biryani from paradise and it's always so so good. Today we decided to order a completely different item and went for Achari Paneer pizza. Oh my gosh! What burst of flavor this pizza has. We are hooked to say the least and will be trying many other varieties on our next order. Also, we always order and do take out and it's extremely convenient to do that. Overall 5 star experience :) read more

Paradise Biryani Pointe - Indian Near Me - Draper, Utah

This place is a joke. We came here for Valentine's Day and it was by far the worst restaurant experience I've ever had. It is now April and I'm still so mad about how terrible they were. Here is what happened. We got there at 8pm so we were not surprised to see the tables empty, but still two hours before close at 10pm. The restaurant was decorated for Valentine's Day, so we were excited to try this new place. They sat us down with menus, and I asked him some questions about the menu. He said that the best thing on the menu was their Biryani but they were out of it. We were shocked to hear that a restaurant called "Paradise Biryani" would be out of Biryani on Valentine's Day, so we asked him what else he would recommend. He began to insult us by saying that "white people like us" couldn't handle anything else on the menu except maybe a couple of basic items every Indian Restaurant offers. I assumed this comment was just a poor attempt at humor instead of an insult. We ordered his recommendation and began waiting for our food. We asked for some soda, but he said the soda machine was "broken", and could only offer water. They did have a lot of to go orders going out while we were waiting. We wondered if they had a deal through door dash or something. When our food came they gave us paper plates, plastic forks and paper cups with warm water. They also said they were out of rice, so they gave us a little extra naan instead. We were stunned with the lack of presentation and baffled how an Indian restaurant runs out of rice. because his recommendation was curry, not having rice was a major let down. How did he not know they were out of rice? I had to wonder, were all these to go orders we were seeing go out the door leaving without rice too? Were they saving the rice for to go orders? Or were they deceiving everyone and screwing everyone on rice? They did not offer any kind of discount for their inability to provide a decent level of service. So we paid our bill and left. I'm honestly stunned they have any good reviews at all. This place was terrible, and we will never go again. read more

Bad Service.... Paneer biryani... Some basmati rice with some boiled paneer and added some soup kind of a thing in the rice, doesn't have either biryanis flavor or spice. Wasted money & time. For vegetarians on a weekdays - it's a disaster if you try this place. read more

I love their tikka masala! We have always gotten takeout and it has been quick and seamless

The chef is from South India, so the food is generally a bit lighter than other Indian places. We ordered chicken tikka masala, chicken coconut kurma, vegetable samosa, onion pakora, garlic and butter naans, and mango and rose lassis. All were fantastic. The naan is a bit thin and just okay, not amazing. The garlic is definitely better than the butter naan, and cheaper! We ordered both curries with a medium spice level, without realizing that they have five levels of spice, not just the regular mild, medium and spicy. So be aware if you order medium that you will be getting only a teeny bit spicier than mild. If you want a true medium, go for the next level up - medium spicy. Overall we were very happy with our meal and will definitely be back. read more

This is our go-to place to enjoy Indian food. I loved the food so much that I catered for my reception. The food was amazing, and the service was good. All the guests loved the food. Definitely recommended and must try!! read more

This was our second time here. We let our server, Steven, choose our food options for us. His selections were delicious. We had the RajuGari Kodi Pulav and the Gongura Chicken Curry. They both were so unique and different from each other. We loved them both. We were also so impressed with our server. He explained the dishes to us, was prompt, and even brought us a mango smoothie to calm down the heat in our mouths. We will definitely be going back and hopefully Steven will be working there when we do! read more

The service for a to go order was really fast and everything tasted good. I reserve 5 star reviews for Indian food for places that wow me the way Bombay House does; this place was good, but no Bombay. The sauces were on the runnier, lighter side, in my experience, though flavorful and satisfied my Indian itch. They also could use a little work on their to-go packaging. I had curry juices spilling out of containers into the bag by the time I got home. read more

We love this place!!! Definitely recommend it. They're also open late which is hard to find in Utah

Great food, very nice people and great ambiance. We ordered the butter chicken and tikkamasala and loved it!

I've had worse and I've had better when it comes to Indian restaurants in the Salt Lake Valley. First, it was nice to have an option for Indian food that is actually open on a Sunday in Draper! The wait staff was very good, super friendly and attentive! The interior is very nice, as well. However, I was disappointment in the flavor of the food itself, as it tasted kind of bland. Almost like the spices didn't have a chance to ferment. I say this because when I ate my leftovers the next day, it tasted much better. Eventually, I will give them another try but with so many other Indian restaurant options, I feel a first impression is super important. read more

Me and my wife pulled up on our anniversary night after 9:30, at first I just ordered to go. So they priced it as such without a tip, but then we decided to eat in, So They made us a full sit down meal and we didn't even feel rushed. Super good food! Loved it! I went to pay a tip and he just said to tip next time. I persisted and paid a tip, but I appreciated the gesture! Would totally recommend this place! Good price too! read more

Food and service were excellent. I had the Gongura Chicken Curry and absolutely loved it. Look forward to coming back again.

I have ordered your Chicken Dum Biryani and Vijayawada Chicken Biryani on the first day of your restaurant opening. I finally got my food after a wait time of 1.5 hours (that is right!). I am really disappointed with your lame food portion, which can be even considered a 'small portion' to feed kids but somehow you guys managed to find the most flat, small, and ridiculous food packing box size that is available on this earth to feed 'adults'. As someone rightly commented, please increase your food portion or decrease the menu price for biryanis but please do not make us search for food right after eating your biryani. Overall, I am willing to give another shot but if you continue to not adjust your prices or quantity, you will lose me as a customer. Thank you. read more
