My dear friend held his birthday gathering here and invited about 20 guests. I was fortunate to be included in group, leaving me wondering about my friend's judge of character. Ha! The restaurant had arranged the tables for us, and we took up about half the seating-and they did a remarkable job hosting us. For such a large group, I had lower expectations on service and the ability to keep up with us all, but they managed! I ordered the chicken tikka masala, as I always do-I know, I'm boring, but it's what I like. It was good-and I appreciate that it wasn't too spicey for my wimpy taste buds. The naan was a little flat for my liking-I prefer something with a bit more substance to it. But the flavor was good. The wine was served in a strange metal goblet. Maybe that's tradition, but it did feel a little odd. Overall, I'd totally return. I learned that it's a family restaurant and each of the sons in the family have opened their own branch of the Bombay restaurants around the valley. I wonder what kind of banter goes on at their personal family dinners as they compare each restaurant's success and stories. Hopefully they are nice to each other!

My favorite indian restaurant in Salt Lake! I always get chicken tikki masala and add paneer, it's the best. Portions seem average but you get full so fast! The garlic naan is cooked perfectly, I just wish it weren't so expensive! The staff are always friendly and the restaurant is always packed, but never too long a wait.

Bombay Garden is always serving up scrumptious Indian food. We went on a Tuesday night and there was no wait time. However, if you go on a weekend you should prepare for a 30+ minute wait. Our service was good. The staff isn't necessarily outwardly friendly but they are attentive. The food took a bit longer than we anticipated but once we started eating all was forgiven. The restaurant is always clean and the ambiance is perfect for the cuisine. And the menu is priced similarly to other Indian restaurants. I'd be shocked if you've never tired Bombay Garden but if, by chance, that's the case, you should absolutely give it a try.

Bombay serves the best Indian food in the valley! We ordered the butter chicken and tikka masala with medium spice, and the flavors were bold, rich, and satisfying--true comfort food! I visited with my sister, and we loved the cozy, intimate booths perfect for two, though they also accommodate larger groups. The staff were friendly, the service was quick, and the overall experience was fantastic. I'm always craving Bombay and can't wait to return!

The food was remarkable. This time we tried the mango chicken and it was deliciously sweet and savory. The service was incredible; they even included a suggestion to how we were ordering that will make our next visit even better! We love the full-length mural covering all the walls with elephants and large buildings. We will definitely be back!

The butter chicken and mango lassi were good however the mango lassi could've been a little more flavorful. The chicken coconut kurma was not as coconut-y as I've had previously. The garlic naan was good. The ambiance was good with dim lighting and it was pretty quiet. The only complaint was I felt really rushed and we hadn't even finished chewing when they took our plates, we were there for 30 minutes total and I'm not sure why we were rushed since they weren't very busy.... Other than that it was nice.

Bombay Garden Is BomBaaaaayyyyy .. If you're looking for some good Indian cuisine. This is a great choice! As a foodie, I've always been fascinated by the rich flavors and aromas of Indian food. What's not to love about a spicy curry or a fluffy garlic naan right. The spices were a delightful blend. The service was great. I love the detailed paintings on the wall. It was a wholesome meal that left me and my family feeling very satisfied. If you're craving some delicious Indian food near West Jordan , I highly recommend checking out this restaurant.

We love the decor & painting in the restaurant . The staff is very attentive & nice . They light a candle at your table & serve you water in metal cups . We ordered the appetizer Snacks . This was deep fried veggies, chicken strips, onion, and somas . This was just ok not that great . I probably wouldn't order this again . We got Chicken Tikka Masala medium spice . This was delicious with chunks of chicken breast .The sauce is so flavorful & amazing with just the right amount of spice it is served with all you can eat basmati rice . We also ordered the garlic Naan bread . The Naan bread is amazing . I would recommend eating here . They are only open 4pm- 9pm . They have Coke products .

Food/Taste/Flavor: 5/5 - Chicken Biryani was delicious but the flavoring is slightly different from the Indian places we're used to. The spices were not large chunks nor small enough to blend into the food so it's slightly disconcerting to bite into when not expected. Sometimes it's quite bitter or you get a chunk of cinnamon stick depending on what you bite into :( Chicken tikka masala was runny without being oily. It's super creamy with an earthiness to it. The rice had fennel seeds without being sharp. Garlic naan was mostly soft and fluffy and mopped up the curry so well. Ambience: N/A - got food to go but it seems super cozy Service: 3/5 - bro at the front desk does not seem like he wants to be there or sort of out of it. We told him we were ordering food to go and asked for a menu and he just sort of stared. We saw a stack on the far side of the counter so we just grabbed one and stood out of the way. When we were ready to order, we stepped back to the counter and he looked at us and walked away. When he came back, he asked us to wait and rang out a order (so we think he walked away to check out a table) and walked away again. Then he was ready for us. Food took about 25 minutes Value for price: 3/5 - delicious food but the portion for the chicken biryani was small and SO was still hungry after finishing his portion

Bombay house is one of my favorite places to come! They have AMAZING SERVICE and FOOD! There's a server named Sayed that is always on top of it and very friendly everytime we come. He always adds on to our experience there with how great he is. Their veggie samosas as delicious. They are always perfectly cook and I enjoy the different sauce that comes with them. I always get their chicken Tika masala which is very rich in its flavor. The chicken coconut kurma is delicious too. It's a little bit more on the coconut side but very creamy. Pair the dishes with some garlic naan and you are good to go! If you are craving Indian good this is a great spot to try.

That was yummy! Four…read moreof us (three adults and a toddler) went to this place for lunch. They had a great buffet and also gave us fresh naan for the table. I was impressed that they even had pani puri. I haven't seen that in the US outside of Chicago and Berkeley! They even prepped them for us. The sauces were spot on with delicious mint chutney and tamarind sauce. They had hot chai (no spice sadly) and some rose lemonade. I was so happy. Yummm.

My mom and I went here because it is a part of Saffron Valley group of restaurants and we have…read moreloved the other places we went to. We went at lunch time and were the only people there for the first little while. We opted for the buffet but were dissatisfied with the temp of the food. They had an Indian version of onion rings which were downright cold. And because they were cold the batter on the onions tasted stale and old. They also had 2 other appetizers that were fried and they also were cold, but I don't know what they were. The curries were lukewarm and the rice was warm, but everything turned cold immediately once put on a cold plate. We let the staff know that the food was cold and therefore unappetizing and they were very concerned, which we appreciated. They offered to not charge us for the buffet and to make us something from the menu, but we didn't think that was fair. They then offered to let us get more food from the buffet and to put it in the microwave. By this time it had been a good 30 minutes plus since we had originally got our food and they had immediately turned up the heat on the items as soon as we let them know of the issue. More people came in and when we wandered up to get more food all of the food items were much hotter by then. We enjoyed our second plates much more than the first because the food was hotter. They had a saag vegetable curry that was absolutely amazing! I usually go for the curry with paneer (it was paneer tikka masala this time) but the saag veggie curry was so good I had 2nds of that. They also had an egg biryanis, which I don't eat eggs, but I had some of the rice in the biryanis and I've never had rice like that! It was spicy hot (but not too hot) and had a ton of cinnamon flavor. It was very tasty. I can't say how the eggs would have tasted with all that cinnamon, but the rice was really good! All in all, I would give them a 2nd try because they really wanted to resolve our issue. The waitresses were really nice and concerned that we enjoyed our time there and our food. In the end, we did get hotter food and that was good, but I totally give them knocks on the rating for not having hot food when we got there.
