We ordered it mainly to cut the butter/salt from the other stuff, it was decent, there was a little bitterness from the cucumber. The shrimps were nice and plump, only 1-2 were overdone at the bottom of the bag. The flavor was tasty, though I would have liked chunks of garlic in the bag to enhance more flavor. The basil was different than most places we've frequented, a welcomed surprise. Although we ordered medium spice, I think it was more on the mild side. The Cajun fries had a nice bite to them, but were simply fries with seasoned salt/Cajun seasoning on top...I've had better but they went well with the shrimps. Corn was sweet and egg was fine.

First, the seafood was served extremely hot. Putting boiling-hot seafood directly into a plastic bag and immediately bringing it to the table made it difficult to eat, and it also raised some concerns about having food at such a high temperature in plastic. It may be better to let it rest for a minute or two before serving. This could also give the seafood more time to absorb the sauce and flavor. Second, the sauce felt very oily, but it didn't have enough of a rich, buttery flavor. The seasoning also seemed somewhat separated from the seafood instead of coating it well. Adjusting the oil-to-butter ratio and allowing the sauce to blend more thoroughly with the seafood could make it much more flavorful. I sincerely hope the restaurant will consider these suggestions. We're happy to have a new seafood boil option nearby and hope it continues to improve!

I can't prove it, so I can only share our experience, but it honestly felt like there were fewer than 15 shrimp in the bag. For the first time ever, we finished our meal and were still hungry afterward. Based on this experience, I wouldn't recommend ordering the combo bag. Not only did it seem like there was significantly less food, but with all the ingredients piled together, some items ended up overcooked. We were really disappointed because we've had consistently good experiences with multiple locations here over the years. As an appetizer and accompaniment to the house pan roast, they bring a basket with three sliced breads and a side of butter. It's a light, soft bread with a bit of sour flavor. Didn't like it. I would have preferred dinner rolls. CUSTOMER SERVICE I arrived 1 hr before lunch closing time. It closes at 2:00pm and then re-opens for dinner at 5:00pm. But service was good!
