The thing that points this straight to the Postman is he even left the part of the box that wasn't attached to the box anymore on my porch!! If this happened in shipping as always claimed he wouldn't have delivered the whole box in two pieces!! Seems like every time this guy has to come back to deliver something it's messed up, opened or destroyed! UPS deliverers 44 lbs of dog food and the bag or box is still in one piece! This is the same Postman that I had to sit in my driveway waiting for him to deliver mail so that I could receive a certified letter cause he doesn't ring the doorbell nor knock on the door just like when he delivered this opened box this morning... I have a Ring camera that shows everything, even the man walking across my landscape Every time he delivers mail!! Can't believe this guy still gets a paycheck!! He doesn't do his job and obviously he's looking through packages/mail for something, which use to be a felony in the states, but I guess it's fine cause it's the Postman... I ask anyone sending me anything to use UPS or FedEx because I don't trust our Postman, how messed up is that!! Can't trust that our mail will be delivered!!

This may be the busiest post office in a small town. Super huge PO Box section (accessible 24…read morehours a day). Many people who live in Baja Norte keep PO Boxes here (this is literally about 10 minutes walk from the border). It is always busy, the parking lot can be a little cramped at times. Personnel are very nice and helpful but speak only limited English (some are fluent in both languages). It is much easier to just speak Spanish here but be forewarned if you don't speak Spanish may be a little harder to find someone to help you. The only thing that sucks is it doesn't have one of those machines where you can buy postage and prep your own package for mailing.

Faxed it over and called back and BOOM. Approved. Very simple instructions. Maybe it was too easy for you to grasp or you must of been too busy with school be able to sign a request that you are providing to a court. You said their systems are outdated but you were able to keep up with it haha sorry that's too funny. Actually I was going to mail in my request but luckily I called and they gave me an option to fax it in to get to them faster. I feel you though that the traffic court didn't work around to your conveince but you do have to go by their policies. As far as customer service they aren't retail keep that in mind but I'm sure you were a total sweet heart on the phone with them as well right? How dare they treat you rudely because you didn't want to sign your request. Hope you were able to learn from the experience and follow directions next time.

I don't usually have to deal with county officials but I've spoken to one two officials since I've…read morelived in Imperial County and they have been absolutely great. I spoke to the road commissioner and they really helped give us information we needed. They were pleasant and helpful-even though I'm sure they get lots of calls. I also called the agricultural commissioner who handles bee swarms. They have a hotline to bee handling technicians who can come get a swarm. I spoke to a technician and they came out fast. Unfortunately, the bees were in an air conditioner unit so they could not get them. But they gave us numbers to call to find people who could. I appreciate the people who work for Imperial County government. They work to help all of us in the county.

The Blue Angels Air Show is March 10 this year (2018). This is the only day in ages that we have…read morerain and, seriously, overcast. So much that we doubt you will see the places for the clouds. The good news is it won't be hot. It is closer to the town of Seeley, California, if you make the drive. The base has this event planned very well. The line is long so they divide it into two where you enter. You follow the cars to the parking area, passing numerous sentries to keep you going in the right direction or if you have questions. They pack you in close-we couldn't open our doors completely. Locals don't park on the base but instead park at the end of the runway and watch the planes take-off from there. You miss seeing the planes up close and the ground events, though. Next year, we will definitely do that! We actually ended up leaving early because of the rain. We see the Blue Angels practicing every day, except Sunday, starting just after the first of the year. They practice early with only 4 planes and, only at the end, bring all together. Seeing all 6 planes flying so close is amazing. I recommend stopping out in February to see the planes practice. You see all sorts of planes and helicopters doing maneuvers. One of my other favs is the V-22 Osprey. It is so unusual. Bring lawn chairs, water and a picnic basket to have a nice day.

I chose this location over LAX preferring the open desert roads to OC/LA traffic. I'm glad I paid attention to the written directions to get to the office. There were signs, but it was still unclear in a few areas. The instructions provided in the confirmation were correct. From San Diego take I-8 East to CA-7 South to the Port of Entry. Exit on Carr Rd (International Border/Cars) then turn right at top of the bridge. Turn left before the last U.S. exit and proceed to the security booth. It's that left that feels really weird to make, but I trusted the directions and it took me there. The guy just needed my drivers license at the gate and told me where to park. I was in and out within about 15min. Have your paperwork ready to hand over when you check in- I needed employment/income information, rental agreement/lease, and passport. A pic, some fingerprints, and a few questions and I was on my way back to SD with an approved application. My appointment was at 9:20 and I was able to make it there and back to SD before noon.
