I miss the olden days of bookstores, where you could find unique little nick-knack gifts. I enjoy discovering fun things I might not have discovered before. When a special occasion comes around, especially for someone special, I like being able to find the perfect card as a lasting memento of how I feel. I might be a bit sappy, but I fell for that whole "when you care enough to send the very best" ad campaign. This little shop is great, The owner is very helpful. It can be a bit overwhelming, because they have such a large selection of cards. The owner was great at helping me find where all of the various birthday cards were located. Although the cards are generally grouped together by type, some of the cards from different lines, such as the Hallmark Signature cards, are located elsewhere. I have generally been able to find the perfect card for the occasion. I'm always much more satisfied with the selection here than I am elsewhere. Walgreens sells Hallmark cards and the selection is "okay", but it's much better here. CVS and Rite Aid sell other brands. The only drawback to this Hallmark store is its location. The strip mall it is in has an A&P, Dunkin Donuts and a few other miscellaneous stores, but it's not a huge, trafficked strip mall. That's a shame, because I would shop here much more frequently if I had greater occasion to visit this area. I come to the A&P on occasion, but prefer the one in Fort Lee. That said, when I do come, I make a special trip, because it's worth it.

I know that Monsoon Flowers was the absolute best florist in the entire Tri-state area! Two weeks prior to my arrival, I spoke to Michael who completely understood the assignment! He was so helpful and professional. Michael even sent me photos during the process to insure my approval. On Valentine's Day, Monsoon offered to actually deliver the arrangement as opposed to the pre planned pick up. I swear, when she delivered the roses, I was blown away! Quite literally one of the best arrangements I have ever seen! I brought this impressive arrangement to my dinner reservation and they surprised her, by placing them on the table. For someone in my line of work who has clients that need to go in a hours notice I have depended on Monsoon Flowers 'delivering' gorgeous florals to private aviation terminals more than I should. BUT they always do and I am so, so grateful! The florals are always gorgeous, non over the top with scent, which I can NOT have and I know they will be perfect... NOT always the case when you order flowers at the last minute for a pop up private flight and need what you need in terms of florals. I never have to 'prep' them myself.. another thing I often have to do on other orders.. trust me!
