Today, I decided to get a Blowout from Carryn to look festive for a function tomorrow. She was super upbeat and she did a great job washing my hair & even gave me a scalp massage. Very relaxing! She efficiently did my blowout and gave me some cute beachy waves. The salon is spacious and they were decorating for the holidays when I arrived. From the moment I walked into Paper Doll Salon, Kaitlyn Alderson made me feel confident I was in good hands. I came in ready for a change but wasn't exactly sure what I wanted, and Kaitlyn guided me through the process with great care. She started with balayage and toner, but when my hair dried, the change was very subtle and I wasn't thrilled. I called right away, and she immediately invited me back to adjust it. At my second visit, she redid the balayage and toner, creating a more noticeable transformation. Once again, she encouraged me to reach out if I wasn't completely happy and even offered to tone it down, deep condition, or cut my hair--at no charge--just to make sure I loved the result. After living with the color for a couple of days, I realized it was perfect for me. The color was beautiful, and when my husband saw it, he absolutely loved it too--that sealed it for me. Went for the first time yesterday. Beautiful and friendly atmosphere. Raegan was my stylist and she was great! She listened to me and even though I didn't know what I wanted, she gave me a fantastic cut and styled it super cute. She was friendly and interesting. For someone who gets a haircut about every two years, I now want to go every few months so Raegan can keep my hair looking healthy and fresh. Oh! And you can get a beer! Carly is literally the best! I randomly got a haircut from her one day, and I've only been going to her for all hair things since. She's now cut, bleached, and mixed up custom colors to dye my hair multiple times for me. She somehow knows exactly how to translate my requests into perfect hair, and I don't make that easy for her. I'm never exactly sure what I want, but I am picky--I give her mismatched inspo pics and vague answers as to just what kind of haircuts I want, and she just magically does things perfectly. I'm at the point where I just tell her to do what she thinks is best, and she has never steered me wrong. Not to mention, she is just a very cool and nice human being, so the vibes while she works her magic are immaculate. The icing on the cake is that she will also send follow-up haircare recommendations via text, and she'll coordinate and book appointments for me over text. Abby is the best hairstylist I've ever met. I've seen her twice now for color + haircut, for two very different styles, and she executed it perfectly both times. She will give you exactly the color and cut you want, and if you don't know what you want, she will work with you to make sure you'll be happy with the outcome.
