Uyen added extensions and created a gorgeous bronde color. Over the years we've tried different looks, from very blonde to closer to my natural dark blonde, and I loved it every time! What impressed me the most is how healthy my hair stayed the entire time. After wearing extensions for over two years, I took them out for a while and my natural hair actually looked about 30% thicker than before (The thickest it has ever been). I just got a new set of extensions again and absolutely love them. I went from short hair to almost waist length, and this time we did wavy extensions to match my natural texture. It came out beautifully - the color matches perfectly and it looks very natural, even when I let my hair air dry without styling. Uyen is incredibly attentive and works very meticulously. She really listens and takes the time to make everything blend perfectly. I completely trust her with my hair and highly recommend her, especially if you have fine hair and are considering extensions.

She left the wefts not glued bf she put them in. Therefore tattered and damaged ends on the weft. When I told her she asked what happened. I'm not a hair dresser and trying to find someone on a Sunday to fix my mess was what I had to do because of work. I have known her for over ten years and because I couldn't get back to her ASAP she canceled all my future appointments with no phone call but through text which is extremely disrespectful. Also I referred several people and she charged me $150 more than the people I referred. I always tip 20%. I'm so glad this happened because when she was told not to worry about it I found someone to fix my hair. She asked if I wanted to come in on Tuesday when she's known for 12 years I work 12 hour days. I had no expectations of her coming in but she offered to take then out but would not put them back in. That would've been a nightmare. This has happened a couple times now. She over charges and her work has gone so down hill. I just didn't want to deal with my work and finding someone new. I should've left when she just out of no where started upping her prices only on me. I work extremely hard and she upped her prices and lowered her standards knowing I'd pay it. Don't come here!

I have been seeing Genevieve for a little over a year now. I am so proud to be her client and show off her work. The Rooted Fox is a respectful and beautiful salon in our OB community. They are taking all measures to ensure the safety of each one their clients without compromising their amazing talent. They have taken the time to hire only stylist that are up to their standards. All of the girls are so talented at what they do. You can not go wrong with any of the stylists there. I have very thick hair that I am in the process of growing out from a bob cut that Genevieve did a year ago. She is so talented with not only haircuts but coloring as well. My hair dresser is out of town with an emergency. So I came here. The owner is nice I just wish she had listened. I didn't want my hair darker in any way shape or form. I wanted it exactly how I always have it, as blonde as possible. Why would I want my hair any darker? Why? I wanted platinum blonde which it was. Why would you put brown low lights in a platinum blonde? My real hair dresser gave me the formula all you had to do was follow it! I spent money, tipped you 20% and now I have to go get my hair fixed. I didnt ask you to do whatever you wanted to my hair. I showed you a formula and wanted you to follow it. Its my hair. Im the one paying for it. I have had it platinum blonde for a very long time! Why would you make my hair darker? I didnt want it any darker. I wanted the exact same color that it was. Ugh. The more I look in the mirror the more angry I get. I dont recommend going here if you are a blonde. Or if you want your hair the way that you want it. I seriously dont understand.
