The food - A lot of variety of sandwiches to choose from. My Turkey sandwich was packed with meat that overwhelmed the regular slices of bread. I had to add to it to bring flavor to it and would recommend adding thicker slices of bread to it. The baked were good. Loved the variety of fruit options, frozen items, fresh meat, and other things to try out. Garden section - Didn't know this existed in here. A variety of plants and flowers to choose from. Customer service- It was top notch from the counter and front store cashiers. Everyone was nice and on point. They kept lines moving which I appreciated too. So this is on my store rotation to try new things here!

Now this was a sit down diner that had been here in the same spot for over thirty years. It's still prepared the same way. Now the food presented is the best of all. Remember when we went to school as a young child. Mama made lunch and put your drink in a thermos and the rest in a metal lunch box. That's the way your food is served . The perceived point is the follow up. Your past experiences and days are in front of you the individual. The sandwich was a really good size and definitely filling. The place was pretty crowded inside, and it was honestly a little hard to find. I actually walked into the restaurant connected to it first and tried to order before realizing I was in the wrong spot Once I figured it out, though, everything was good. My only real complaint with the Reuben was that I wish it had a little more sauce. I think that would have taken the sandwich up another notch for me. The total came to $18.02 after tax, which felt a little pricey for a sandwich, but the portion was big. Overall, I enjoyed it and would definitely eat here again. Four stars from me!

Just on the edge of the Highlands, Morris Deli is not only your stop for your packaged drinks, but a nice sandwich or homemade soup as well. Look at the pictures, this place doesn't miss! It's constantly full of usuals and the staff definitely knows their people. Morris Deli is the neighborhood classic and definitely a place to try when in Louisville.

It's hard to find certain things in Louisville. They fill the gaps. Service is pretty on point. Straight up and " let's get to it " kind of vibe I'm used to in big cities, but they don't really rush you. Just let someone pass you if there's questions. There's just a lot of random things here down to the chips and take home items that are worth the visit alone. Need an entire country ham with stamps from the farm? Check. Bread is pretty good too. I would for sure recommend this place, but it takes a few trips to get your orders dialed in.

My wife and I both ordered the Thai Crunch Salad. We both had their Black Tea. The salad and tea both were 5 stars. However, we both needed additional dressing which was provided at no charge. The dressing was awesome, very tasty with a little heat! The restaurant seems set up to cater more to take out than eat in. I'm not a fan of eating salads out of a cardboard bowl using a very light duty plastic fork. In fact my original fork snapped in half while I was eating. To be totally transparent, we prefer sit down restaurants where you are waited on by a server. BUT the food here is good and I would return using the take out option.
