In…read morethis time of social distancing, I love the convenience of delivery, especially if it's free. Today I ordered a shrimp po'boy with a side of mac and cheese, and a Nashville chicken sandwich with coleslaw on the side. I also got some vodka. Delivery was through text, so check their Facebook to see if they're nearby. The sandwiches were delicious! The amount of shrimp was generous and they were so tender. Not too spicy. Delivery was very fast and friendly. In this time of minimal contact I felt safe because they assured me the credit card device was cleaned, but you have the option to just swipe and not touch it if that makes you feel safer. I will definitely order again soon and hopefully they'll be around long after the social distance thing is over so I can meet the folks behind the delicious food in person!

The Hot Buns team chalked social distancing slots for customers in line. Service was quick and friendly, payment by cards available. I got the combo with 2 bao buns, Peking Chicken, and 5 pork dumplings. The dumplings are good but would've lacked in flavor without the sauce drizzled on top. The Peking chicken came with cucumber, pickled onions and cilantro. They describe the buns as pillowy and they aren't lying. Looooved the bao buns, very flavorful. The rice bowl is a good option too. Large portion and you can pick one of their proteins to add to it. As I'm typing this I wish I'd bought one to bring home and heat up for dinner. Another time! This food truck is a treat and I am looking forward to bumping into them again.

I ordered the beef curry bao and vegetable dumplings. The vegetable dumplings were really good! I could eat 1000 of them!! 10/10! However, I took one bite of the beef curry bao and it was ice cold. I'm not sure if that's how it was supposed to be served, but It personally was not my favorite. I've tried Bao buns from one other place and they were hot, so I think I was just expecting something a little different. The flavor was definitely there, it was just not for me. Service was quick and the employees were very nice! I would definitely recommend this food truck if you are looking for Bao or dumplings!!

I had steak tacos and carnitas tacos. Both delicious, the sauce that it comes with was SPICY but delicious...worth the burn. The tortillas were next level. I got a quesadilla for the kids and it was huge. They were even so sweet to cut it into even three pieces so I could give one big piece to each kid and not have to figure that out myself. Just super kind. One note of caution to parents: I ordered a chicken quesadilla thinking that would be a "safe" and clean option for my messy kids but it's super greasy. It's delicious and I'd get it myself but next time I'd probably just stick with cheese for the kid's.
