After driving by it because we didn't see a sign for a coffee shop, we turned around and found out is a part of High Foods. We were greeted upon entering and browsed the coffee side of the shop while the staff completed a food order. The inside of the shop has an almost industrial feel with several tables and some bench seating on one side. Several arcade games are available for those who enjoy them. The most impressive thing about our visit was the pride that Tammy, our server (and apparently the cook and barista!), took in her work. It was obvious that she loved the establishment and her job. After finding out it was my first visit, she went out of her way to share the menus and told me about local favorites. She was very outgoing, friendly, and willing to find suitable substitutions with the coffee menu that would accommodate my dietary needs. I was also thrilled when I learned that the cardboard sleeve on my coffee had artwork by children from a local elementary school! What a great way to get children involved in their community. Having already had lunch, I didn't get to try the food. But everything that I saw looked delicious. One patron was eating a BLT that made my mouth water! Tammy told us about their breakfast menu and I can't wait to go back to try some menu items.

There locations are more expensive the other sub chains but they have more substance and better tasting subs in my opinion. So why the three star for this location. I made my first visit to Thai particular location this previous Friday night. The tables were mainly dirty, they had wet floors from leaky equipment and they just didn't put the substance on the Subs that other locations do. Was very skimpy compared to my experience at several other penn stations. Also the fire we ordered were burnt and bottom of the barrel. Cut in really small pieces. Overall I still love penn station.
