We were greeted upon entering and browsed the coffee side of the shop while the staff completed a food order. The most impressive thing about our visit was the pride that Tammy, our server (and apparently the cook and barista!), took in her work. It was obvious that she loved the establishment and her job. After finding out it was my first visit, she went out of her way to share the menus and told me about local favorites. She was very outgoing, friendly, and willing to find suitable substitutions with the coffee menu that would accommodate my dietary needs. I was also thrilled when I learned that the cardboard sleeve on my coffee had artwork by children from a local elementary school! What a great way to get children involved in their community.
