I'm so done with Coach. Here is what I went through yesterday, to get a gift box…read more I purchased a lot of Coach bags over the years (not bragging ... just a fact). The earliest one were in 1990s; the latest were the past few years. Some for myself and some were/are as gifts. I'm conscious of greener planet, would not ask unless I really needed it. Some bags although are meant as gifts, I usually don't ask for box - what if I ended up keep it/them? Thinking, that I can always go to a store, ask for one WHEN I need it. It should be pain less and in and out in a minute. Right? I was SO WRONG.  Walked into this store, a young woman greeted me. I: "oh, I just need a gift box." She, "Oh, we don't give it out anymore."   "Really?" I can't believe it. "How could that be? I purchased your bag and you won't provide a gift box?"  "When did you buy it and where did you buy?" She muttered off a string corp jargons, "...retail, online ... " which, I take that retail means physical store and online is, well, online. Simple enough?     She walked to the register, and asked for my email and phone to pull out my account. I don't mean to brag that I was a Coach fan, but there are at least 20 some bags in my online account in the last couple of years or three, and she said sorry if you didn't buy from us, we can't give you a box. "How do you define 'we'?" Online is NOT you? You share the same phone number and customer service, don't you? I was really surprised, and yes humiliated, as if begging. I asked to see the manager who came out a few minutes later, said the same thing. And she asked for my email and phone again. "Don't you have it on your screen?" I said. Yes it is. "Then WHY the hell did you ask ME again?!?!" "Pls don't be rude." She said.  So she looked up my orders, and said "I can't give you a gift box because your most recent purchase was February 2023, it's too long ago. ..." How do you define recent? She said "a month." I buy their bags normally online and sometimes in stores too. Sometimes in store, I usually don't use my online acct - just pay and go. As I was waiting for the grace of the manager, the tall sales girl in that store commented on my matching boots I told her I like their little blue bag so much, I got this blue boots to go with it. Tampa is 90 degrees year around weather. Am I crazy to wear boots? I don't know but I think this store and the manager is crazier, to treat customers without decency. Or she singles me out ... for what?! My race? Talking race makes one feeling small but I couldn't imagine why was I treated so terribly.  How many customers would come in to a Coach store, asking for a gift box if they don't need it? I have no idea. Your profit margin can't afford to offer a customer a gift box? Maybe I should just stick with Moynat. Less styles, so what? I sure do know that I won't be humiliated when asking for a gift box.  After left the store. I returned. And picked up a bag that's roughly the size as mine, and said, "wrap this up with a gift box, please." I will return the damn bag later through mail. The manager said, "you really want a box." What a dumb statement, after 30 minutes of my time, you just realized that I need a box? They threw me a box, without a shopping bag. Some wonderful service, Coach! Afterward, I went to Loft. Before I left, I asked them casually, do you still provide boxes? The lady behind the cashier, said yes and offered me one, which I certainly can use.   SO, here is how my gift will get to its destination: Coach bag in a Coach box, wrapped with Ann Taylor's soft paper tissue (I just got a delivery fm AT) carried inside a Loft shopping bag, that will go through the security check point at the airport, and get into the overhead bin... Isn't that wonderful?  If anyone of you would like some Coach bag, lightly used or new, please contact me, I couldn't wait to get ride of them all. Thanks Coach, for helping me to clean up my handbag section.

However, if I have questions there is always someone within earshot. Alfonso and Andrew are my rockstar associates. I challenge you to find more down to earth, knowledgeable, charming guys. They're absolutely amazing. Both have helped me pick amazing gifts for my husband. I actually look forward to shopping here. They just brought us sneakers without asking if the fit or not. They kept bringing us the wrong size and style. We finally made a purchase and my daughter is happy.

My daughter knew exactly what ones she wanted when entering the store so we walked back to the shoe area and was greeted by the staff. We asked for her size to try on the shoe to which the employee quickly went and found. Turns out that Vans run a bit smaller so we asked for the next half size as well as another color shoe to try on. He sort of had an attitude that he would have to go back into the stock area to get the shoes, so he measured my daughter's foot. Upon measure he quickly changed his attitude and said that we were right in that she'd need the next half size. He went in the back and brought them out. We ended up purchasing her original ones she wanted along with the stain spray. Staff at the register was pleasant and explained the reward program which I was ready to sign up for since you get points for your purchases -- turns out she cannot sign me up in store. I'd have to download the app and signup that way. Asked her if by doing that I could get points for this purchase which she quickly said yes and that it'll be an easy process whereby I'll just have to add the code from my receipt on the app. OK! Got home and downloaded the app, searched it over and finally found that I'd have to call Vans customer support to get the points added for today's purchase. Yet another step in this complicated process! Called and customer service was super helpful and got my purchase added. Overall happy but they should streamline this process to where customers can signup for the program at the time of purchase in order to avoid all of these steps. Any other store you can signup at time of purchase with no issues.

The fitting room space was kinda small, they had 4 rooms but they didn't have the husband bench like they do in other stores.
