I never felt that at Esmeralda's. I walked in (no appointment), they were a little busy but let me take a look and try on dresses. They asked if I had a style and once I showed them my vision they found me multiple dresses exactly what I wanted. Never asked me if I had a budget or stoped me from trying on a size to big or small. The staff was very helpful in pulling sizes. You can buy pants and jacket separate for a better overall fit. They have all the accessories you will need to pull off a killer look. Suits ran about $200 and the shirts were around $35. Unless you are a model-fit body, spend a few more dollars on tailoring. I did and was rewarded with many nice compliments from strangers and some lusty stares from my lady friend. Also- I can't forget to say this. The fabric weight of these suits are very appropriate for our hot/humid Florida summers. I traveled in one of them and they keep looking good even 12 hours into the trip.

I really wanted to keep it locally owned and operated and Hyde Park has a lot of big name stores. I remembered my friend bought me a birthday gift from here and talked about how much her daughter loved her ukulele lessons, so I thought I'd check it out. Just stepping into this place makes me feel relaxed and cheerful. They sell a huge array of soaps, bath bombs, skin care products, basically what you would want for your own spa day. On top of that, they sell cool products like meat/fish/poultry seasoning, honey, bags, ukuleles, etc. It's kind of a hodgepodge of stuff that would make you happy and it works! My friend told me she didn't like bar soap until she shopped here. I got a huge array of stuff for the Yelpies and a lavender bath bomb for myself. I got home to try dress on the straps to the dress was in a small zip lock bag. With the plastic stem that holds the price tag going through the bag attacked. I pulled off to tried the dress on taking straps out. I didn't like how it fit. I went to Aeropostale ask can I return the dress, or get a credit. I ask for manager as I was speaking with the manager a young lady. With the smirk on her face she said no cause tag off. I said well you need to change your policy. She said I had to buy something at the time. I told her you're going to put the tag back on. So what difference does it make. Then I ask her name. Because I said I was going to do a review. She say no i'm not telling you my name if you're doing a review. She has black straighth hair cut in a box. Piercings in her nose. So be aware with her nasty attitude when you go in this store. Our conversation was calm and cool. So I took the dress home and told her I'll let my granddaughter get the return when she come in to get something. This Manager needs to go back to basic training for customer service. Most stores will tell you customers are right. Especially when the item is all intact and new.
