store is poorly organized, men's & women's shoes/flip flops all mixed together instead of having women's on 1 side & men's on the other. nobody to really help you because the woman in there was just standing there blabbing with these 2 customers about house generators. never received anything more than a simple "hi", never even said "let me know if you need any help". selection is minimal, not a lot of inventory, just left disappointed. went on amazon & found what i was looking for. read more

I was able to visit this location a few days ago. The person Who assisted me with so informative and kind. I later learned that she's the owner... I appreciate it all the time and effort she took in order to help me decide which shoes would suit me. The selection is great! I first visited The Flip Flop Shop store when it had its grand opening roughly 6 months ago. As expected, the owner was really busy because there were so many people walking in and out of the shop but she was exceptionally attentive to everybody. I was really surprised that she even noticed me sneak in with all that was happening. When I visit new places, I unintentionally am pretty quiet and very observant because I try to get a reading for the store and the individuals working. As an empath, nothing to me is more important. I am happy to report that everything observed at this shop was welcoming, all the way from the store owner's hospitality to the beautifully stocked, various selections. As the store name implies, flip flops are well-stocked here and (as if that were not cool enough for me and my fellow islanders/Floridians), on top of that, there are also a very wide range of shoe designs and sizes from Hey Dude for everyone. When I was there, prices ranged from roughly $45-70, if memory serves me right. Yes, there are cheaper shoes on Amazon or at certain physical retailers but many of those items end up costing you more in the long run. It is difficult to ascertain authenticity of both the item and/or the seller. I think it is also important to note that the prices at Flip Flop Shop are very similar to the prices on Amazon. The inventory carried at the Flip Flop Shop is authentic, for one and for sure. I'm going to spend so I want it to be on the real thing. Another critical requirement of mine for footwear is durability. I have been wearing my first Hey Dude pair nonstop for the last 6ish months and they are impressively A-OK. They still look so adorable. This is of notable mention because I am the klutziest person within a 25 mile radius. For me personally, the best part is that these shoes can be washed (and sterilized) in the machine whenever you want! I cannot stress how much I love this feature since I am a complete germaphobe. Also, being able to wash them easily means that I'm less likely to wastefully trash them after a couple of years. With regard to the flip-flops, one can find an assortment of designs that combine aesthetics, versatility, and support. Many of these flip flops are extremely helpful for those who have conditions like plantar fasciitis. The store owner (Pam) wears an adorable set that gets her through the entire day on her feet. I visited again today to get a pair of Hey Dudes for my boyfriend and myself. Pam (the store owner) was her wonderful self and was so attentive. She really knows how to love on her customers and it makes for a lovely experience. I was able to choose both pairs pretty easily (Pam actually spotted the pair I fell in love with). We chatted for a while and I went on my way. I was extremely excited so I put my shoes on in the car only to find that they were too large for me. I thought against returning them but I am so happy I did. Pam welcomed me back and helped me so quickly! Now, in case you all are wondering, this merchant's policy for returns is store credits and no refunds. This is written clear as day on their receipt which I appreciated SO much because other merchants sometimes leave it off their receipts. Leaves no room for guesswork. Win-win for me. All in all- this store and its owner are perfect for this community and I am so glad that they opened a branch in this area. I'll never go anywhere else for my HDs or flip flops if I can help it! Several months ago, I visited the store. I was greeted by the owner,Pam. She was friendly and knowledgeable and commented that I was wearing Dawgs and showed me her selection. I have been wearing Dawgs for many years and currently have seven pair. What I needed was something with a strap. I was delighted that they make them and a bought a pair. I took a friend in and she found Sandals she liked for $50 plus dollars, in fact she liked them so much she went back and bought two more pair before her return trip to Tn. Now here's why the bad review. The Dawgs I purchased, pulled apart. I took them back, without a receipt. I didn't want to return them I wanted to exchange them and also buy another pair. I believed it was just a flaw in the shoe, as a had worn Dawgs for many years and they wear like iron. Pam proceeded to tell me they were worn out and showed me the bottom of a pair in the store which were naturally shinny against mine , which were not. I was flabbergasted by her attitude and left the store. Went home and ordered two pair on Amazon for less money. I am still out the $40 I spent in her store. Hoping , she was just having a bad day.
