Came in on a weekday, not busy at all. Walked in and was greeted Very spacious and clean. There are tables and chairs to dine in. A lot of items to choose from. The only thing I didn't like, we ordered the kawali and it wasn't crispy at all. I had to airfry when we got home. The had three different sauces which were good. The bibikq was good, loved the salted egg and prices were decent.

This little hole in the wall place is literally down the street from me and I dream about their Lechon Kawai all the time lol . The food is always good and fresh here! The service is ok here, I wish they were a little more welcoming especially if it's not as busy. Only reason I gave it 4 star I've had their beef stick and lumpia but their best is the lechon Kawai I love eating it fresh and hot where and their rice is so seasoned. Not a big place but very big on service and food flavor and quality. At home comfortable ambiance. Shannon took good care of us. Warm and friendly to every customer. Ordered pork liempo, pinakbet, sisig and taho for dessert Name of the place have changed but food quality, flavor and service remained as good as it was a year ago. Still deserves my five star and come back visit.

I was surprised to find a Filipino spot nearby. I found this place randomly on yelp and decided to try them out. The food was good. The bbq chicken had a lot of flavor the first time we had it but the following week and it tasted a little different but still not bad. The java rice was the same, good the first time but tasted different and dry the following week. We went here twice and wanted to try the chicken inasal but they keep running out of it. I'll return again because i would want to eventually try the chicken inasal but also see if the flavor is consistent. Their pricing isn't too bad and I'd recommend it for a Filipino bbq fix that's nearby. They don't have a big sign up but hopefully my picture helps people find the place

Love, love, love the grilled milkfish! This is a sure stop for us whenever we are in this area. Service is always amazing, and i love that the meat is not super salty . Additionally, i don't know what ingredients they have in the rice but i love it! It is not just the plain steamed rice.

I found this gem of a place on Yelp searching for a barbecue place near me. I ordered the 3 pcs. Pork bbq meal, the boneless bangus meal, and two crispy patas over the phone for pickup. The service was excellent and friendly. The server and cook were very helpful explaining what other food items they have. The food quality was excellent and very tasteful. The price is very reasonable and the food portions were generous. Definitely will be coming back to try and enjoy their other dishes.

I wasn't even searching for a Filipino food but this place came up top of the list closest to where I was during a random resto search. Since I don't know of any Filipino food around Fontana area, I couldn't wait to try! I called in my orders for pick up. We tried the ff: 1. Pork bbq stick 3 pieces meal - delish! 2. Chilean sea bass meal - delish! 3. Solo pork sisig - delish! (tasted authentic) 3. Taho - delish! 4. Halo-halo delish! Well, let me tell you..everything was DELICIOUS! Prices were reasonable and good portions. I hope we support this place and that the quality of food remains. I will definitely spread out the good word and I hope you guys try it too. Happy tummy!

It's a small Filipino restaurant in Fontana. My husband and I came for dinner after watching a movie. They offered grilled bbq meat fresh to cook if you ordered. We ordered grilled salmon collar and stir fry white squash with ground beef. Both were tasty and salmon was cooked well. Dessert was halo halo very refreshing. Be back again

First visit to this location. They had a soft opening in August 2023. As we entered the restaurant we fed our phone first , took pictures of the interior and menus. The restaurant walls are decorated by framed inspirational quotes! A gentleman at the counter greeted us warmly with that Filipino hospitality. Romnick reminded us that my food order will take at least 30 -40 minutes. Well that's ok , because the Pork Menudo was already cooked at the buffet warmer so we ate while waiting for our to go order!! I knew what I wanted to order: Chicken Inasal ( marinated and grilled) Skewered Pork BBQ meal Skewered Chicken BBQ Pork Liempo ( Pork Belly Grilled BBQ) Pork Lumpiang Shanghai (mini pork egg rolls) Pork Menudo (diced pork and liver stew cooked with tomato sauce, diced potatoes and carrots) Everything was "masarap(yummy)" and "malinamnam(flavorful)". Surely will return and I had already send link to co-workers who are looking for a Filipino Cuisine.

Came here on a Sunday not busy in fact were the only customers when we got there since there are 4 of us I did ask the lady in the counter I believe one of the owners what's good can she recommend she mentioned it's better to order the family meal where you can order 3 kinds of meat a pound each comes with rice. But the problem is she said no rice and said won't be available for 35 minutes at least. Oh well can't believe it being in a Filipino restaurant and no available rice. What we did we ask for noodles instead of rice we also ordered crispy pata. Saw the guy in the kitchen preparing everything which is good knowing it's done fresh but he did something he should not have done in front of customers I know he thought I did not see him he was grabbing meat to grill and he dropped it on the floor he picked it up and placed it in the grill was really sad to see that . When they served it did not eat the barbecue the crispy pata was good until we got the meat part it was cold was crispy on the outside though. The place was clean though but the restroom is out of order which is not good. I know I should have said something about the meat incident but I'm not sure why I did not . Hope this will help you guys make it better.

everything is made to order. So be prepared to wait a little bit for your food. Family ran. went in for a quick lunch with my family got a couple meals and of course you have to get the bibingka. owner is so nice and friendly. They also do orders for pick up and do large orders for family parties and gathering. all the meat and fish were so tender. I liked their pickled papaya on the side, gives a fresh flavor. read more

Have come here a couple of times and usually do not have any issues calling ahead and coming to pick up to avoid wait times since they make the food fresh. I was really disappointed today as I called ahead and placed an order of 35 Lumpia's to pickup at 5pm to take for a baseball watch party which I had done countless of times before. When I arrived to pickup my order the girl at the cashier told me that because I ordered "early" and didn't pick it up that the Lumpia got soggy and they gave it away and I would have to wait for them to make more. I advised the girl that I had specifically told them that I was going to pick up at 5pm so they didn't make the lumpia earlier and the girl asked me if I was sure and if I had ever even been there before. I told her that I had (which idk what that had to do with anything) and she even checked the notes of my order and apologized for the mistake and that they would make a new order right away and charged me for the order as they did not relay the information for pickup to the cook. Initially I told her not to worry about it as I understand that things happen and understand that lumpia needs to be made fresh. She had my order out in a timely manner and because I was already late to my event because of my order not being ready I didn't check my order once she handed it to me and just left. Now upon arriving to my event she gave me a completely wrong order with things that I did not order and only 10 still SOGGY pieces of lumpia. I am severely disappointed with the lack of carelessness of service that I received today, especially from a place that is usually top notch. read more

I was happy to see a third Filipino establishment at this location where Kalahi Bakery and Tony's BBQ, both successful in West Covina, used to be. The place has a couple of tables, a walk up counter where the kitchen is visible from. It's nice and clean. I called in my order and was happy to find my order was ready as promised! I ordered several items on the menu to try. The large crispy pata at $18 was my primary interest. It was pretty hefty which included the trotter. This was tender and tasty and came with a type of sweet dipping sauce. I didn't get the crackling crisp I was looking for but the skin was crispy enough - the dipping sauce was original but I had hankering for the usual vinegar and Mang Tomas. The liempo at $15/lb was beautiful and delicious, though on the sweet side more so than savory. The chicken inasal meal at $11.25 was good and savory and came with good atsara. The grilled salmon belly meal at $13.50 was pretty substantial and taste was okay. I would've loved for it to be more salty than sweet. I'm not a big fan of sweet ulam. The yellow rice that came with the meals, though visually attractive, was tasteless and hard. The halo-halo at &7.50 was ok, no leche flan. My son finished it! The saba con hielo at $6.50 was ok but the only flavor you get is from the saba. I was expecting this to be saba, yellow arnival and shaved ice. I got Saba, milk and shaved ice with a sprinkling of pinipig. My mouth was disappointed. Will I recommend this place? Absolutely! I want this place to thrive. The staff I encountered, Shannon, was super pleasant and friendly, unlike my experience when it was Tony's when I went for the first and final visit and the staff made me feel like they can't wait to get rid of me. A big shame because their dishes that I tasted were amazing and flavors were unforgettable. read more

Legit sisig meal! It was FIRE It's the real stuff(pig head meat). It was fresh and delicious. I love that it's made to order. My hubby got pork and chicken on a stick, that was freshly done and scrumptious. Thank you for opening in Fontana, we don't have to drive too far for really great Filipino cuisine. read more

I had the pleasure of stumbling upon Tony's BBQ with a colleague of mine and we stopped in for a bite to eat. I got the barbecue chicken plate with rice and it was pretty amazing! The cashier/cook Oliver was super nice, patient and knowledgeable. He also provided us with a complimentary soup of the day but I apologize I can't remember what it was called. All in all we had a pleasant experience and would definitely recommend this neighborhood gem. read more

Ordered to go today at this amazing Filipino restaurant, the food was absolutely delicious. The sisig was perfectly crispy and flavorful, the BBQ was tender and juicy, and the chicken inasal was incredibly savory with just the right hint of smokiness. Each dish felt like a comforting taste of home. The cashier was very friendly and made me feel welcome from the moment I walked in. Super sweet lady, my receipt says her name is Madel. Was there August 19, still soft opening. Bibingka was and it did not spend any more time in the container when I got home. Will have to go back when they properly open so I can score some more. Ordered the pork bbq sticks and I can honestly say that they are on par if not better than Manila Sunset. The squid was also grilled to perfection! Great location especially since there are no Filipino restaurants in Fontana and one has to drive to Rancho Cucamonga to get to the closest one. The staff I've encountered, Omar and Francesca, were gracious enough to answer all of my silly questions. As far as ambiance, they are still soft opening so I can only expect it to get better. All in all, great food, great service, standard ambiance. I can't wait till they fully open! read more

I had been waiting forever for this place to open and today I was able to swing by and pick up a pork barbecue meal and some pancit. The pork was fresh and juicy and the marinade literally felt like my Tito made it. So delicious!! And then the pancit!! The pancit was LEGIT. I would devour a whole tray of that. Stopped by for lunch today. Had their Chilean Sea Bass, Pork BBQ Sticks, Lumpia and Bibinka. The food was delicious. They don't cook anything until ordered, so the food was hot and fresh. The Lumpia was plump and cooked perfect. The Sea Bass had a nice sear and was still juicy. They also do catering. My wife said it reminded her of a restaurant in the Philippines. Great service and really good food. I came to this new to me restaurant assuming Southern BBQ but found a Filipino menu. I'm always open to trying new foods and this is all very good to me. In 2 visits I've had 2 different pork dishes, chicken skewer and the Tuna Collar in a soup. I recommend giving this a try. read more

They also had pancit, longanisa, afritada, sautéed chayote and fried jeprox fish just to name a few dishes I saw on top of my head. I know they change the dishes day to day so if you're craving something specific you can always call and ask. There's seating for at least 10 people inside. Not super spacious but good enough to eat your lunch and go. They have plenty of parking and also have a catering menu you can ask for if you want to have trays for a party.

I recently ordered to-go foods from Papababes Kitchen, where I tried their Grilled Chicken BBQ and Grilled Salmon Belly. The Grilled Chicken BBQ was well-seasoned, though I found it a bit salty for my palate. However, the accompanying dipping sauce provided a nice balance that enhanced the overall flavor. On the other hand, the Grilled Salmon Belly was a standout. It was delicious and had a wonderful teriyaki-like taste that I absolutely loved. I also noticed they offer Wow Taho, but unfortunately, they were out of it by the time we arrived, which was an hour before closing. The staff were friendly, the place was clean, and there was plenty of parking available. Overall, I had a great experience and will definitely return to try more of their offerings! read more

This Filipino restaurant gave a mixed experience. While the food itself was quite flavorful and enjoyable, the overall experience was dampened by the service. Firstly, the hospitality left much to be desired. The staff seemed a bit disorganized and not very attentive. It was frustrating to see other patrons, who arrived and ordered after me, receiving their food before me. This wait was quite lengthy and disappointing. Despite these issues, the food did redeem the experience somewhat. The traditional dishes were authentic and tasted great, which is why I'm giving the restaurant 3 stars. Papa Babe's Kitchen was a great experience. The staff was very professional, friendly, and processed our order quickly, which I really appreciated. The food was delicious--my favorite was the sinigang. The fish was very tender, and the soup had a rich, flavorful broth with a nice tangy tamarind taste. The shrimp lumpia was also excellent--super crispy and packed with flavor. This is the kind of place that's perfect for a quick but satisfying lunch break. First time here and we had worst service. The front young lady was mad the whole time. A lot of customer walked out when we were there. Waited sooo long to get the food that doesnt look like whats on the picture. Its say freshly made but it look like they got it from the freezer. We ordered sisig and it was fresh from the freezer its like a blended and mashed meat. Ordered Liempo and its all fat no meat. Throw up when I got back to work and thinking that I got food poisoned.
