I've been wanting to try this place & I'm glad I got to yesterday! The flavor & cook of the pork belly was tasty & had a great texture! There's a good amount of pork belly & the bowl will fill you up! I really like the sauce that was used. There's lots of flavor when eating everything together & would say it can be a little light but still delicious. Total is about $17 with tax & tip I would come back to try other options
Within the impressive web of eateries that Haven City Market has woven lies a Filipino fusion store, Belly & Snout (or Belly n Snout?). On their menu you'll find a selection of contemporary takes on Filipino flavors such as an adobo grilled cheese sandwich, spicy pork fries, and more. As this was a first time visit, on their convenient electronic ordering kiosk, I went with the "Best Seller" tagged item - their Pork Belly Rice Bowl ($13.99). The bowl's portions were quite plentiful. On top of a mount of Jasmine rice, they laid out 4 thick slabs of grilled pork belly, a pile of green onions & pickled red onions, and then a drizzle of garlic chili aioli. It's a straightforward but very satisfactory meal.
I have been eyeing Belly & Snout for a long time due to their options of Filipino food and their contemporary take on the cuisine. Finally made the plunge to give them a try and the result wasn't bad, but it wasn't memorable either. We came in on a weekday for dinner with a moderate crowd at the Haven City Market. There was virtually no interaction with staff at Belly & Snout despite there being two workers in the kitchen. They have a self-service kiosk, which is fine, but it wasn't clear what the next steps were going to be after ordering: Should I wait there? Will I get a text to return? Is there an estimated wait time? Who knows? The two guys were consumed in a conversation and were completely disengaged with the handful of us waiting, unsure of our next steps. When an order was ready, they were quick to just leave the order for someone to pick up instead of handing it to them. Again, they weren't even that busy! I ended up ordering the Chicken Adobo Grilled Cheese because I LOVE chicken adobo and I LOVE grilled cheese. The sandwich was a good size and had a good amount of chicken, however, the flavor was lacking. There was barely a hint of any adobo taste and the garlic crema listed on the description of the menu seemed to be nonexistent. The sandwich just tasted like a plain grilled cheese with chicken in it. Perhaps I came on an off day for them or I just ordered an off item from the menu. They are unique in the market for serving Filipino food, so I would consider returning the next time I'm at Haven City and wanting this type of fare.

I ordered the Milkfish Rice Bowl which was fresh, very well plated and tasty. I can't say much about the service, considering orders are meant to be placed using an electronic kiosk, not a live person. The kiosk is user-friendly, provides an e-receipt and you will receive a text once your order is ready for pick-up. I look forward to returning next time I visit HCM.
I was curious about this biz name Belly & Snout. There was a photo of Guy Fieri, too. Thought I check it out while at Haven City Market. I used the self-ordering kiosk to place my order. I got the pork belly tacos and pork belly bowl. I enjoyed the tacos. Pork belly was crispy and tasty. Love the red onions. Flavor was good overall. I would get them again. As for the bowl, pork belly did not have the same taste and flavor as in the tacos. Too much rice. Staff was nice, but I didn't have too much interaction with them. They just handed me my order. Wait time was average. Looking forward to trying their other items. I would recommend this place if you love pork belly. Happy Eating!
Came for a quick snack and had always been wanting to try our their grilled cheese. Today was the fated day. Ordered quickly on the huge iPad and the food came out no longer than 10 minutes after I ordered and man, that sandwich looked divine. Let me be clear, I didn't even realize the sandwich was gone until I almost bit my hand so it's safe to say I'm going back here tomorrow for round 2
More like 3.5! It is located within a food hall. Keep in mind that it is not a full Filipino menu and mostly focuses on adobo dishes. The adobo was pretty good and I like how they gave lumpia too. It did take a little bit to come out but good for an adobo craving!
Thoroughly enjoyed this place! We were probably their first customers of the day so they were still setting up but once they opened it was on! Ordering at the kiosk was easy...the hard part was choosing what to indulge in. Adobo was not available that day for some reason so pork belly was the theme of the day. Went for pork belly grilled cheese, belly fries AND belly boxed lunch which included pork belly, lumpia, salad, rice, pickled onions...a sorta sampler platter and a great way to try a little bit of everything (although there are waaaay more things to try!). I usually don't indulge in pork belly too often but this was really tasty and everything went well together. Keep in mind, this is not home-style cooking, but a sorta elevated fusion -twist on the classics if that makes sense. Great choice for lunch and hope to be back soon!
Love that they have a kiosk to order your food. I find it less stressing and convenient because they have pictures of the items on the menu. I came on a Saturday and was able to order right away. I ordered the adobo chicken bowl and an order of lumpia (4 pcs). My food came out pretty quick and the worker was kind. The adobo was good...I wouldn't say the best. Although the flavor was okay, the rice was quite mushy. I liked how the lumpia was thinly wrapped. I'll visit again and maybe try something else on the menu.
I had the pork belly fries and lumpia, both were good! The drawings on the counter are so cute. The workers here are also always nice.

I love the pork belly fries here! Every time I come to Haven City Market I have to order some. The lumpia is also top notch with extra large rolls and a nice sweet dipping sauce. You will not be disappointed with any of the bowls or fries on the menu.
Love the open air market. But I was hot inside. Even though it was 100 outside it was hot indoors too. Wish the AC worked better. Services was me ordering on a Kiosk. So that was cool and simple. Small menu but it doesn't disappoint. We had the pork belly grilled cheese and man I man was it delicious. Definitely will be back to try the rest of the menu options.
Belly and Snout is located inside Haven City Market. Parking is plentiful, though it gets busy during peak hours. Ngl, it was kind of hard to find the entrance since all the walls are blacked out. The self-order kiosk was easy to use, and they text you when your order is ready. I tried the pork belly sandwich, and it was hearty and well executed. The pork had a great fat-to-meat ratio, the sourdough was nicely crisp with a strong tang, the pickled onions added a subtle sweetness, and the cheese pull was super satisfying. I'd definitely order it again. The lumpia, though, looked a little malnourished- very thin and underwhelming. The filling wasn't very memorable either, since it was sparse and simply seasoned. Overall, pretty good food. I'd come back for the sandwich but skip the lumpia. read more

Guy behind the counter was cool and helpful. Talked us into getting the belly grilled cheese which was delicious. The belly bowl was also really good. Let them know if you're not a fan of spicy mayo cause they really pile it on. I wish I would have said something but I was able to scrape some off. Too much of it dilutes the flavor of the meat in my opinion. It didn't ruin the dish, though. All in all; pretty good. We'll be back. read more

Came in today on lunch break from jury duty. Got the pork belly fries and they were very good. I paid about $15.50 which felt a bit pricey when I was ordering however when I got my order I thought it was worth it. Got my fries fried crispy and sauce, picked onions, and green onions on the side. Customer service was pretty good also, I would absolutely come back to try other dishes. read more

I smelled them through my snout and now i want and need them in my Belly! After that first bite I was like Whoa Nelly! I didn't want to go with just one of their flavors so I ordered the foodie fabulous four. The pork belly came with pickled onion and a garlic chili aioli sauce which was simple but flavorful. Next I had the spicy pork had habanero chili sauce that put a little sweat on my forehead. To calm down my tastebuds I had the chicken adobe and this came with garlic crema and pico de gallo and this gave my tongue a little tasty relief. The last taco I had was the pork adobe and this baby was lightly drizzled with carrot habanero sauce and green onions. I'm going to say all of the tacos are fire and if you're at this food market it's definitely worth a try. Service was good and the seating is shared with other local food shops. And that's my take on these tacos, Peace out. read more
Family and I went here for lunch. My parents are tech savvy so they were able to do the self serve kiosk haha. The food was good. It's a bit pricey but it's worth it. One star off for not having a staff member out in the front all times for any questions or concerns that foodie guests that may have. read more

This is a local food court with a wide variety of food, drinks and dessert selections. Tables and chairs are located throughout the building, it's easy to find a table for a group or a counter-top for one or two people. I took my time, walking through the aisles and peeking at the food people were eating all around me. I decided on the Belly & Snout eatery, since I do have a weakness for Pork Belly, this made my decision somewhat easy. It was a very filling sandwich on white lightly-toasted bread, garlic aioli sauce and pickled red onion. I would definitely order this again. You can order on the electronic kiosk or go straight to the cashier. It is a cashless place, so bring your debt or credit card. I should have tried the Bento box to have an opportunity to sample more dishes like the chicken or pork adobo, jasmine rice, lumpia or french fries. Apparently this placed has been featured on TV by Guy Fieri's show "Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives," and it gave it the thumbs up! I am already planning a trip back, I encourage you to give this place a try and tell 'em Rosemary sent ya! read more
2023/109 An American & Filipino fusion inspired, this restaurant is located inside Haven City Market in Rancho Cucamonga. Belly & Snout was featured by Guy Fieri on his show Diner's, Drive-Ins and Dives at the Food Network Channel. Charlie was very friendly and polite taking my orders. I tried their pork lumpia served in a long lighty crisp roll with sweet sour dipping sauce. It needed more meat and crispier. I also had the Pork Adobo Bowl which was served with braised pork belly on Jasmine rice and topped with fried egg and pickled red onion and Aïoli gravy ( not a fan). I was expecting pork belly to have that adobo flavor of garlicky, sour and salty marinade. I still want to try different dishes on the menu so for sure I'll be back. read more

My husband and I had a very disappointing dinner experience here last night. We ordered the Adobo Rice Bowl, and from the very first spoonful, we noticed the rice had a strange, gritty texture. I asked my husband to talk to the staff for their opinion and to observe the staff's response and attitude. When he spoke to the server, the response was simply, "All of our rice is cooked like that," with no hint of an apology or willingness to improve. I tried to give the dish another chance, but it was truly unpleasant and difficult to eat. I brought it up again, hoping for a more understanding response, but instead, I was accused of being aggressive--when in fact, the server himself was speaking to me with a very condescending and arrogant attitude. If the server had simply acknowledged our concern and shown a willingness to check the food quality from the beginning, there wouldn't have been a second confrontation, and I wouldn't have felt so upset. Even if he couldn't taste the rice we had already eaten, he could've at least apologized and checked the rest of the rice in the kitchen instead of insisting, "That's just how we always cook it." Customer feedback should be seen as an opportunity to improve service and quality--not as an attack or someone trying to start trouble. After going back and forth for a while, the server did refund us, but he did so with a very smug and dismissive attitude. We're writing this review so that future customers won't have the same disappointing experience we did. read more

Great spot in Haven City with tons of other food spots within this marketplace. Ordered the spicy pork bowl, and it was delicious. The minced pork was cooked thoroughly, and the chipotle aioli added a nice twist to the taste. It had the perfect amount of spice even with the habanero suace. Also, the portion was just the right amount and not too filling. Will definitely come back for more. read more

So I have heard of this place and I wanted to try it so I got the pork belly now with a fried egg. I can say two things: 1. The flavor is pretty interesting with the pickled red onion on it to bring it together. 2. The pork belly is very tender. Not much else I can say. Food was good and although I didn't take an order from a person. The kiosk machine was still easy to use! read more

Very fast service! 1st time here. Just want to try the Belly rice bowl and lumpia. Belly rice bowl its just ok but the lumpia are over cooked. The lumpia are dry/hard inside but crispy outside. Will probably return and try different food. read more
OOOO MMMM GGGG! You gotta come here and try the Adobo fries - they are to die for! My kids told me I've got to try this the next time I'm at Haven City Market and I'm so glad I did. I got the chicken Adobo fries (it also comes in pork). The fries were nice and crispy. Topped with scallions, sour cream and tomato - those little things gave it an extra 'umph! tl;dr: No flavor, no go. Honestly, when I was thinking about writing the review as I was eating...It was 3 stars for me. While writing it a day later, I really don't know what's going on here with their tacos or meat. This establishment needs to up their game in a food court with so many options. If you're going to have Guy Fieri's autographed poster on the wall, it better taste like how he tried that shit in da kitchen. I didn't taste what he did; all I got was unflavored meat with two tortillas and a poor excuse of a salsa. I got three tacos just to try their meat because I was already full, Belly & Snout already has established itself in 2014, so I had to give them a go. First, where's the flavor??? The pork belly barely, if at all, had any flavor in terms of marinade, braise, brushed, or sprinkled on. It tasted as if I cut up pieces of a wonderful pork belly, threw it into the air fryer with no seasoning or rendering whatsoever and gave them to customers. I was eating pork fat and pork protein with some onions on top. I could've made this. There's nothing Filipino about this. I don't even want to talk about the meats anymore, just like how there's no seasoning to savor over. I'll keep it concise from now on. The spicy pork tastes like Mexican chorizo if someone forgot the paprika, cumin, and salt. The adobo tastes like unflavored carnitas; full of protein but no caramelization. I'm not saying it has to be Filipino, even if it taste straight-up Mexican, I would enjoy it despite its branding. Does this place even know how to work with pork? You can't have an establishment that nearly every dish depends on le pig and not have flavors. Damn...its store name is literally about pork. Some may say I didn't try their other stuff but they're just variations of carbohydrate(i.e. sandwich bread, rice, fries) with their meat on top. You can't just depend on cheese, sauces, and sprinkles of veggies to save your ass. Save the pork flavors first then we'll bite. read more

One of my favorite EATS inside Heaven City Market in Rancho Cucamonga. Whenever I visit, I'm drawn to two standout items on their menu, the Pork Belly Grilled Cheese Sandwich and the Pork Belly Rice Bowl. If you're a fan of pork belly, these dishes are an absolute must-try. Oh, where do I even begin with the culinary catastrophe I experienced. Now, I understand that toasting bread requires a certain level of, precision, and maybe even a basic understanding of the concept of heat control. Unfortunately, it seems like the culinary masterminds at Belly and Snout skipped those lessons entirely. It's as if their toaster was possessed by a malicious toast-burning demon, hell-bent on destroying the hopes and dreams of grilled cheese enthusiasts everywhere. Upon taking my first bite, I was greeted by a charred monstrosity that could easily rival the Notre Dame fire. I couldn't tell whether I was eating a sandwich or a charcoal briquette. The bread was blacker than my ex's soul. However, I must commend this place on their consistency, though. Every single bite of my grilled cheese sandwich was equally torched. If you're searching for a place that prides itself on turning a simple grilled cheese sandwich into a burnt offering to the culinary gods, then by all means, visit Belly and Snout. But if you value your taste buds, sanity, and the sacred union of bread and cheese, run away as fast as you can and never look back. read more
My bf and I came to the Haven City Market for the first time, and after walking around for a good 15 minutes, I decided to try out Belly & Snout! The thing about me is that I love a good grilled cheese, but I've never tried pork belly grilled cheese!!! It exceeded my expectations! There was so much flavor in the sauce that really tied the whole sandwich together! The pork belly is extremely fatty in the best way, and I thought it was be too much with the melted cheese, but it was perfect! The pickled radish was a good touch! 10/10, would absolutely come back! I only wait about 5 minutes for my sandwich too! Overall, so delicious! read more

As a veteran of multiple visits to their prior location in Koreatown, I felt compelled to visit this new location on my travel back home from Temecula. Upon arrival, I was saddened to see the old staple favorites of the Oxtail Fries nor the Sisig Hot Dog / Tacos no longer on the menu. My son and I ended up trying the Spicy Pork Bowl, Pork Belly Sandwich, and Adobo Fries. All I can advise is don't forget the dishes that got Guy Fieri to sing your praise. If your known as a Filipino-Fusion eatery, make dishes that have Filipino flavors or techniques. The only dish that had that essence was the fries. The porkbelly in the sandwich was very tender and delicious but nothing reminded me of being Filipino. The pork bowl was void and lacking of any Filipino flavors I've ever had. Warren, I'm glad you were able to reopen to a safer location without the fear of the restaurant no longer being burglarized. Now that your in the new place, please bring back some of the old menu items that have the original Filipino themes and flavors. I'm sure your new customers will enjoy the dishes and your old ones will rejoice as well. read more
The name of the establishment inside the Haven Street food hall sounds amazing, however, the samples we ordered for lunch to offset a disappointing Hobbit-style first lunch at Ranchos didn't improve the mood. The rice bowls sounded like a good way to experience two different meats, the Adobo pork and Beef Short-rib. The first issue though was that there wasn't anyone up front to take the order. After looking around a lady arrived from behind us in the general area as opposed to the back of the kitchen. Anyhow, once the order was placed we got drinks across the way from the Acai Superfoods place and grabbed a table. This was mid afternoon and not busy at all. The food came out a little faster than the quoted time but maybe it needed more? The Adobo had little flavor and no sauce as seen in other people's pictures, the rice could use a pinch of salt too. My beef was ok but in the context of the surrounding vegetables and rice it lacks something I cannot fully articulate. The fried eggs on the bowls were pretty crispy, I'd almost prefer hard boiled. I'm afraid we we unmoved by the experience and drowned our sorrows in the fabulous ice cream at Caudron, adjacent to this place. Not sure there's going to be a next time here. read more

Got the belly bowl and it took about 15 minutes after ordering to receive it. The time it took meant that they cooked the meat fresh and didn't already have it precooked to serve. The pork however, tasted vinegary (which I'm not a big fan of) and came cooked well. It wasn't the most tender pork belly I've had, but I would rate it above average. Also, the bowl came served with pickled red onion and red radish on top in a good portion. The main thing I disliked however, was that the garlic chili aioli was put on the 4 slices of pork belly and was too heavily served on top of the pork. It for sure overpowered the bowl and the flavors. If I were to order the same thing, I would ask for the aioli on the side. read more

I'm sorry to say but the food was not my thing there . The food didn't taste good at all me and my sister didn't even finish it half way . The lumpia' wasn't bad but I had better at home . Over all I wouldn't waste my money there again the service was okay wasn't that helpful to begin with . read more
