Pork Belly Rice Bowl - jasmine rice, 4 slabs of pork belly, green & pickled red onions, & garlic chili aioli ($13.99)
Alex B.

Within the impressive web of eateries that Haven City Market has woven lies a Filipino fusion store, Belly & Snout (or Belly n Snout?). On their menu you'll find a selection of contemporary takes on Filipino flavors such as an adobo grilled cheese sandwich, spicy pork fries, and more. As this was a first time visit, on their convenient electronic ordering kiosk, I went with the "Best Seller" tagged item - their Pork Belly Rice Bowl ($13.99). The bowl's portions were quite plentiful. On top of a mount of Jasmine rice, they laid out 4 thick slabs of grilled pork belly, a pile of green onions & pickled red onions, and then a drizzle of garlic chili aioli. It's a straightforward but very satisfactory meal.

Belly & Snout is located inside of Haven City Market. It caught my attention at my last visit being Filipino, so I took the chance this past Sunday. And I am glad that I did. I ordered the Milkfish Rice Bowl which was fresh, very well plated and tasty. I can't say much about the service, considering orders are meant to be placed using an electronic kiosk, not a live person. The kiosk is user-friendly, provides an e-receipt and you will receive a text once your order is ready for pick-up. I look forward to returning next time I visit HCM.

I was curious about this biz name Belly & Snout. There was a photo of Guy Fieri, too. Thought I check it out while at Haven City Market. I used the self-ordering kiosk to place my order. I got the pork belly tacos and pork belly bowl. I enjoyed the tacos. Pork belly was crispy and tasty. Love the red onions. Flavor was good overall. I would get them again. As for the bowl, pork belly did not have the same taste and flavor as in the tacos. Too much rice. Staff was nice, but I didn't have too much interaction with them. They just handed me my order. Wait time was average. Looking forward to trying their other items. I would recommend this place if you love pork belly. Happy Eating!

Pork Adobo Grilled Cheese Sandwich

Came for a quick snack and had always been wanting to try our their grilled cheese. Today was the fated day. Ordered quickly on the huge iPad and the food came out no longer than 10 minutes after I ordered and man, that sandwich looked divine. Let me be clear, I didn't even realize the sandwich was gone until I almost bit my hand so it's safe to say I'm going back here tomorrow for round 2

More like 3.5! It is located within a food hall. Keep in mind that it is not a full Filipino menu and mostly focuses on adobo dishes. The adobo was pretty good and I like how they gave lumpia too. It did take a little bit to come out but good for an adobo craving!

Thoroughly enjoyed this place! We were probably their first customers of the day so they were still setting up but once they opened it was on! Ordering at the kiosk was easy...the hard part was choosing what to indulge in. Adobo was not available that day for some reason so pork belly was the theme of the day. Went for pork belly grilled cheese, belly fries AND belly boxed lunch which included pork belly, lumpia, salad, rice, pickled onions...a sorta sampler platter and a great way to try a little bit of everything (although there are waaaay more things to try!). I usually don't indulge in pork belly too often but this was really tasty and everything went well together. Keep in mind, this is not home-style cooking, but a sorta elevated fusion -twist on the classics if that makes sense. Great choice for lunch and hope to be back soon!

Love that they have a kiosk to order your food. I find it less stressing and convenient because they have pictures of the items on the menu. I came on a Saturday and was able to order right away. I ordered the adobo chicken bowl and an order of lumpia (4 pcs). My food came out pretty quick and the worker was kind. The adobo was good...I wouldn't say the best. Although the flavor was okay, the rice was quite mushy. I liked how the lumpia was thinly wrapped. I'll visit again and maybe try something else on the menu.

I had the pork belly fries and lumpia, both were good! The drawings on the counter are so cute. The workers here are also always nice.

Good service but unfortunately the pork adobo seemed to be undercooked. The pancit on the side was also overly salty. Had high hopes but couldn't finish the plate.

I love the pork belly fries here! Every time I come to Haven City Market I have to order some. The lumpia is also top notch with extra large rolls and a nice sweet dipping sauce. You will not be disappointed with any of the bowls or fries on the menu.

Family and I went here for lunch. My parents are tech savvy so they were able to do the self serve kiosk haha. The food was good. It's a bit pricey but it's worth it. One star off for not having a staff member out in the front all times for any questions or concerns that foodie guests that may have.

Adobo Rice Bowl

My husband and I had a very disappointing dinner experience here last night. We ordered the Adobo Rice Bowl, and from the very first spoonful, we noticed the rice had a strange, gritty texture. I asked my husband to talk to the staff for their opinion and to observe the staff's response and attitude. When he spoke to the server, the response was simply, "All of our rice is cooked like that," with no hint of an apology or willingness to improve. I tried to give the dish another chance, but it was truly unpleasant and difficult to eat. I brought it up again, hoping for a more understanding response, but instead, I was accused of being aggressive--when in fact, the server himself was speaking to me with a very condescending and arrogant attitude. If the server had simply acknowledged our concern and shown a willingness to check the food quality from the beginning, there wouldn't have been a second confrontation, and I wouldn't have felt so upset. Even if he couldn't taste the rice we had already eaten, he could've at least apologized and checked the rest of the rice in the kitchen instead of insisting, "That's just how we always cook it." Customer feedback should be seen as an opportunity to improve service and quality--not as an attack or someone trying to start trouble. After going back and forth for a while, the server did refund us, but he did so with a very smug and dismissive attitude. We're writing this review so that future customers won't have the same disappointing experience we did.

Love the open air market. But I was hot inside. Even though it was 100 outside it was hot indoors too. Wish the AC worked better. Services was me ordering on a Kiosk. So that was cool and simple. Small menu but it doesn't disappoint. We had the pork belly grilled cheese and man I man was it delicious. Definitely will be back to try the rest of the menu options.

We always get the pork belly bowls here and they are amazing! Just enough spice and just enough flavor that you do not need to add anything

It's a small place with some other Filipino things for sale like desserts and roasted peanuts. Been coming here for years and just wanted to make sure they get their flowers. We had them cater our wedding 3 years ago. We ordered a Lechon, pancit, lumpias, bistek, and chicken adobo. We ran out of food, it was so good! Today we came in before picking up the kids. I had chicken curry, pancit and the soup from sinigang. Hubby had pork adobo, pork sinigang and lumpia. Of course it comes with rice. I know they change the dishes day to day so if you're craving something specific you can always call and ask. There's seating for at least 10 people inside. Not super spacious but good enough to eat your lunch and go. They have plenty of parking and also have a catering menu you can ask for if you want to have trays for a party.

Lol updated 2026 review and I absolutely agree w everything I said!…read more Growing up eating Filipino food, I get cravings every so often. I usually make what I want at home but to be able to have 2-3 of your favorite Filipino dishes, well then, you'd have to be at a party. But if one is craving some from the islands than you need to find the nearest Seafood City and get yourself to a Grill city. Is it the best? Nah. Is it pricey? Yahh. Is it good? Sometimes. Does it fill your cravings? ABSOLUETLY! Every Filipino Lola's/Lolo's (grandmother/Grandfather) makes each dish different. It will not be one of those omg reminds me of home moments (unless you live in the Midwest with a bunch of non-Asian descendants and only eat hamburgers and pizza for years) but rather, it satisfies the cravings. Have you heard of well, if you see the same ethnicities eating that food then you know its authentic, I believe that! Its authentic so if you in the area and want to try Filipino Food then come here, I would suggest a 2 Item combo, comes with rice; something grilled, something stewed add noodles or a dessert like Halo Halo Suggestions; Work on the customer service (Super Lacking), Rice is cheap so give more, Possibly par cook the BBQ and cook to order so it will be hot, ensure the chafing dishes are at the right temperature (HOT) check them hourly.
