I ordered through DoorDash, and my son ordered gumbo. There was no notification that it was out of stock--I only realized something was wrong when I noticed I wasn't charged for it on the way to pick up the order. When I arrived and asked about it, I was told the main menu wasn't even available and was handed a very limited menu with wings, burgers, and sliders. This should have been communicated upfront. If the full menu isn't available, DoorDash should be turned off or updated accordingly. The food itself was unacceptable. The catfish was dry, cold, and lacked any of the flavor it had before. The mac and cheese tasted like boxed pasta with minimal effort put into it, and the okra was also cold. For the amount of money spent, this was a complete letdown. On top of that, the service was not welcoming at all, which made the situation even worse. The only positive I can give is that the restaurant appeared clean. I try to support local businesses, but this experience made it very hard to justify coming back. I won't be returning anytime soon.
