Visited December 14th..see my receipt as always. I got into Oroville to watch football with my friends ( 49ERS and more!). I haven't been to a Papa Murphys in a very long time! I ordered the advertised 10.99 special..large 4 cheese topping for 10.99. I also added pepperoni for an extra 3 bucks. We dressed it up by adding black olives at her house. It warmed up her place on a cold day ( btw...cook alittle longer if you want a firmer crust). Pizza was good and really filling for the price. Plenty of cheese! I am on the fence about " shredded pepperoni" instead of regular pepperoni. It was clean inside and Deja was very warm and friendly! Great alternative for Sunday football! read more

I ordered a "crustless" pizza on Sunday, this was the second time. Im on the Keto lifestyle and the first time it was perfect, I didn't mind paying almost $15 because I had a whole second dinner and used what was left for an omlet! What a JOKE! Called my order in. Repeated myself three times until he repeated the order back correctly. Then they said it would be 1.5 hours until it would be ready. Then when I get there they ring me up for the wrong order, and don't even have my order made. Cashier said he would refund me and pizzas would be free. Then when they refund me, they only refund me for the wrong order. Then have to sit there for another 30mins while my kids have to sit in the car and all I get is have a great day. read more

I feel bad. But this place needs help. How do 10 people work at one time? This is too many. They are all very confused and work at their own pace since there are too many people. More times I've had a terrible service than a good one. They always mess up and have to start over just because they're all working on top of each other. Have to order online to get discounts from text but when you do if you make changes they don't read them. Also when I came back in to get it made right I was not greeted at all. 1. Half of the time I call-in a deluxe pizza from this Papa Murphys location, they never made the pizzas. They will tell me, "we will have that ready in 20min". I arrive 45minutes later and they tell me, "we haven't started the pizza yet". I ask, "why did you lie about the time"? They reply, "we are extremely busy" I look around, NOBODY is in the store and their pizza rack is empty. 2. In another incident, they charged my credit card 2x and my card did an auto-reject on the second charge. 3. In another incident, they claim that they never made my stuffed pizza after 60min and not busy. Conclusion, 50% of the time I order a stuffed family pizza, they claim they never got the order or haven't made it after an extended period of time. Just ordered dinner there tonight. First off the cashier was friendly and attentive. He informed us that the store was out of steak and bacon...I do understand this can happen from time to time so I joked with him about how is that possible and moved on. I ordered pizza, bread sticks and salad. Went and sat down to wait for my food. This gal with brown hair was on the front line making pizza with her bangs hanging under the visor (completely defeating the purpose of the visor) dangling over the pizza as she made them. She kept blowing it out of her face and moving it out of her face. Fortunately another gal with proper head attire made my pizza. I took my pizza and left. Later I called to talk to a manager. A female shift leader came to the phone and informed me that the regulations are that they keep the hair off their shoulders and if they touch their hair they need to wash hands and replace gloves. But that the bangs under the visor dangling over the pizza is okay. I even clarified with her and she said the same thing. I then asked what time the store manager is in so I can speak with them and she said he was still in and to hold for him. She then hung up on me. (Makes me wonder if she was the one with the hair problem) I looked up California code 113969 and it talks about hair being contained. Her hair was not contained! Over all food was great and all employees looked great besides this one girl. Friendly staff and good food. Although they did forget to give me my salad. But then again I forgot to remind them too so not completely upset there. Hopefully the manager handles this girl with hair issues. And educates their shift leaders on proper hair procedures. read more

Our family loves the gluten free crust! Grateful they have that option. We called order in. When we arrived they said they had the order ready; however, they made it wrong. We could buy the wrong order or they could make new ones for us. Obviously we wanted the order they way we ordered it. Tip- when you make someone wait because you messed up the order maybe you should offer them the option of buying the wrong order for half the price instead of throwing it away or give another discount of some sort. We paid and got down the road and realized that they didn't give us back our card. Sorry you only get a two star review for service. I give a 5 star for the pizza! read more

I have never been to a pizza place where they package the pizza and you have to cook it at home. I was kind of disappointed because it would take me an extra 20-30 mins to cook it. I got home and figured this might actually be the best pizza place ever because I could save he pizza for later by freezing it. They do not have wings. When you unwrap the pizza, the dough is very soft, so it kind of falls apart when you are putting it into a pan to put in the oven. I ordered a half pepperoni/half sausage fennel pizza & cheese bread and I must say I WAS IMPRESSED, it had nice bold favors. The pizza is VERY Good!! I will definitely return! read more

I have been a customer for many years - not lots of orders - only about one a month. Last month I ordered [phone] a combo with regular crust. I was ill and had it picked up. What I received was a pitiful thing - very thin crust, practically no cheese, and fifteen little pastrami's. It was awful. I threw it out. I thought this was a mistake. I just forgot about it. I went last week and ordered a family size "cowboy" on regular crust. It did have more meat on it, but very little cheese and not enough sauce. I also paid $17.00 for it. It does seem the place has changed management, but not for the good of the customers. I'll find another place. read more

What a terrible experience!. Went to pick up a pizza for my husband and the female at the counter just ignored me! Not only did she ignored me she called other customers to the counter ahead of me! As I was about to leave angry a nice young man came up and took my order. She should be fired but she won't be. People like that are nice to who they want to be! Disgusting! read more

Food is great as always. Supervisor in charge was a jerk. Im fed up with people in charge being on a power trip. She was embarrassing another co-worker in front of all the guests. Then she was rude to me while asking what I wanted, and taking my money. I've been a restaurant manager for over 35 years. Coming back from the high deserts of Oregon, living in a trailer with no a/c, heat, water, etc. and eating dehydrated food for 4 days, I was drooling for a Papa Murphys pizza and had planned after driving 8 hours back into CA, that I would unpack, shower and make the pizza and have a nice glass of wine. I put my mask on and went inside. Those making the pizza were not wearing masks - I assumed that they were wearing gloves, but was shocked that at this timeframe and being as close as they are while making pizzas, that they would have masks. That being said, I know that cooking the pizza should take care of possible issues, and I planned on cutting the pizza in half myself and re-wrapping it in my own plastic wrap upon getting home...but at this timeframe, I would expect food workers to be wearing a mask, and even if things were normal, I would hope that those preparing food would be wearing gloves as well as a mask. Just seems to be the right thing hygenically to do whether you make pizzas or work in a high end restaurant. So it was no pizza for dinner for me....so I was foreced to have the last of the freeze dried food, mushroom risotto - just add a cup of boiling water...and no wine.
