I am always in favor of hiring high school students at these kind of restaurants as that's how I got started and it should give students an early working ethic and responsibility. However this Papa Murphy's lacks adult supervision to achieve such goals. A couple of years ago (pre-pandemic), I went in to order a pizza one afternoon/early evening and a was turned away as they were "out of dough" said the kid. Laughing it off that a pizza restaurant would be out of dough, I have been back numerous times since but always met with the same "it's just an after-school job" attitude. It always feels like "here's your pizza now get out. There's somewhere else I want to be." I can't say that I've ever seen an adult working there. This afternoon at 4:50 pm, I walked in on my way home and stood at the "Order Here" side. I was pretty much ignored and then I hear from the kid putting toppings on a line of pizzas say "it will be a 20 minute wait." What I, the customer, heard in the tone and delivery of the message was "go away! We're too busy." So I asked "you want me to leave?" There was no response or even eye contact with this kid. I walked out. This Papa Murphy's lost a sale today. It probably was not significant at the end of the day but it was a loss and it all adds up at the bottom line. How could this sale have been saved? I wasn't in a hurry. I wasn't starving and needed an uncooked pizza right away. I could have waited 20 minutes. The sale could have been saved and this kid could have had just one more sale today by saying with a smile and eye contact "Welcome to Papa Murphy's. If you don't mind waiting, we'll be with you shortly." I don't blame the kids working there. I blame the franchise owners and managers for the disregard for their responsibilities in teaching these kids how to give good customer service. These kids are needing direction, responsibility and respect. Where else are they going to learn how to succeed if not at their first job? I used to get a large pizza here for $12 (pre-pandemic). Today my pizza was $17 before tip. FOR THIN CRUST! I understand inflation is high, but $5 more for the same size food is rediculaous. A family-size pizza is around $22. That's at least $25 with a tip. I can go to MOD for that price and everyone gets what they want. TOO EXPENSIVE. read more

Totally impressed with all the young people working at this location tonight! While I waited in my car for our order I observed how they all were working so efficiently. I was really impressed! That is why I am writing this review...for this crew working Tuesday night 11/22. You guys rock! And you got my order right and our pizza was Delish! This is the most fast foody I get with pizza. Like to mix it up sometimes and try sobering different. This isn't the best pizza that I've had but certainly not the worst either. With the coupon is cheap and easy sometimes. The pizzas aren't overly flavorful with spices etc, and I know none of it is organic, etc... It is what it is. Simple easy, bake at home, run of the mill pizza. read more

Apizza Scholls, Ken's Artisan's, Hot Lipps, Papa Murphy's... "Three of these things belong together, three of these things are kind of the same, but one of these things is not like the others. Now its time to play our game, its time to play our game" First off, why must so many Pizza places be run by Papa and so many Italian restaurants be run by Momma? Just a thought... In no way would I ever begin to compare Papa Murphy's with any of the amazing pizza joints mentioned above. However, the other day reaffirmed why I select this local "take and bake" establishment when looking for pizza quick and close. The Tall Leggy Blonde and I are on a self imposed regimen of diet, exercise and detox. Yes, this is cruel and unusual self punishment in this town of food and beer, but the desire to fine tune this soon to be 36 year old body will keep me on the path of health. With this new lifestyle looming, we decided to get our fill of all the things we love as we will soon be gastronomically celebate. Beer, tater tots, Mexican food, ice cream...yeah, we were really going for experiencing it all...you could call us food sluts. Yet as the clock approached 9 we realized we needed one more fling with our Italian mistress known as Pizza. Our only option was Papa Murphy's as we were quickly reaching quitting time on this Sunday evening. The kids that work at this location are top notch. I am always forgetting a coupon, or come in with an expired coupon, and they are always willing to give me a discount. We ended up getting a great deal on a large pizza that was never picked up and within 20 minutes were enjoying our final meal before salads...lots and lots of those damn green salads. I used to manage a papa murphys so I'm a little harder when it comes to my review. One of the staff wasn't wearing a name tag and she kept bumping into the pizza dough and so much so that red sauce got on my white sauce gourmet veg pizza. The pizza did not have evenly spread toppings and i think the staff was more concerned about talking amongst themselves that I felt really unwelcome, as if I was interrupting a conversation. There also was an abundant of fruit flies, kinda gross. read more

Never going here again! Called in an order, was told 20 minutes, I waited 45 and it hadn't even been started yet. I watched as they screwed up multiple people's orders. They were so disorganized!! 4 people working and they were slow and screwing it up? One should have been working on phone orders, one on walk-in orders, one on the register and phones. This is a shout out to the amazing Team at the Webster Road Papa Murphys So I stopped by to get a pizza for the evening. There were about 30 people waiting in the store. Every single person that walked in the door was greeted with a smiling face. They kept thanking everybody for their patients. And the wait was nothing. Superfast super efficient. They worked so well together as a team it was amazing. They anticipated each other's moves and help each other out. What a great example of customer service and teamwork. And the pizza is always delicious read more

Dull tastless crust (cardboard). Stingy on the sauce which was bland anyway. The toppings are the same you get from any other pizza place. My pizza last night was thin crusted, didn't order that way, and the toppings were I'm sure carefully weight out and cheaply applied. The staff there was friendly and courteous. Papa Murphy's which used to be Papa Aldo's years ago used to be so much better until they went corporate. I'll be trying other options in the future when I get the pizza bug. read more

We signed up for Papa Murphy's A list customer and this location won't take the text offers. They want coupons printed out but for those of us on the go, it's a hassle. Good news is, this is the only one I've found not to accept text offers, which also encourage you to forward to friends. So you don't even have to be on their list to recieve it. I have had so many mistakes made here I don't even know where to begin. A few months back I called and asked what the special was and ended up ordering it only to find out when I went in to pay that it was an online-only offer. Don't you think the cashier should have told me that when I was ordering over the phone? On three separate occasions I have placed an order over the phone. When I came in to pick it up it wasn't ready which is fine. I don't mind waiting but I still paid at the counter and was told that my name would be called when it was ready. It's a good thing I was paying attention because once my order was ready no one called my name. I had to go up and tell them that they had just placed my order on the hold rack. The cashier then told me "oh, we call your name after you pay". I told him I paid 10 minutes ago and his response was "oh" along with a dumb blank look on his face. Great response and customer service! I wonder how long I would have waited if I hadn't been paying attention? And twice now I've ordered an additional topping on my large pizza and was charged $2 dollars for it. When I questioned the price he quoted me $2. I have never been charged $2 for one additional toppings on a large pizza. It's always been $1. Even at a GOOD pizza place it's not $2 for one topping! Other times I've gone in and they charged me $1. So what is it Papa Murphy's? I think all of your Associates should be on the same page! I'll be taking my business to another pizza chain or at least to another location! read more
