Parking is easy, and convenient. They have ton of pizza, styles, flavors, and crusts. We settled on the "Build your own" pizza. We chose the Detroit style, four piece, with original crust. It was the perfect choice for our eating wants and needs. We added pepperonis onions, mushrooms and black olives. Service was slow, but the friendly waitress made it more enjoyable. Overall, the pizza was OK. It was a little burnt, and hard to cut. The taste was pleasing. I must admit that my favorite is Chicago deep dish pizza, sorry Detroit fans. But i feel that it is one of the better pizza places in GR. If your not a pizza fan, they have several other option; burgers, salads, and sandwiches. Check it out.

We had a movie to catch so she got our pizza orders in first then came back and got everyone's drinks (so smart). As busy as they were, we knew the pizza would take awhile. Perfect timing. We got everyone fed and out in just over an hour. I split a BBQ Conant 4 square (yay to all corners!) with my husband. I could have eaten more than 2 but it was great because we were getting movie popcorn after. The BBQ Conant: Wisconsin brick cheese, grilled chicken, red onions, fresh cilantro and Buddy's BBQ sauce. - Some of the cilantro is extra crispy / brown out of the oven, but overall liked the addition of cilantro. At some point, I need to come back for the Vernors float! Tip: Found Buddy's frozen pizza at the grocery store and it comes pretty close if you want a bake at home option.

Loved the place, reminds me of the old pizzeria in the Chicago hamlets. Family run I assume, I see the teenagers working hard behind their dad I think. All courteous, and service oriented. You can also dine in, again small but quaint. The thing that disturbs me is the previous reviews about not much toppings. Are you kidding me? Take a look at the pictures here. Pizzas were full of toppings! especially mushroom which is unusual, generally the caps and broken stems leftovers are used. Here, the mushrooms are intact, cap and stem, only higher end restaurants do this. So, you detractors... Send proof like I do. Here's the pics of what you get piping hot. It's thin crust here. By the slice was about $2.50ish, but it's not a large NYC type slice, it's likely half that size. I tried 2 different slices, one had serrano green sauce on it with chicken, another had pepperoni and other meats. Overall the pizzas were okay. A bit on the dry side, flavor was okay, I was expecting more of a robust flavor profile but it was still okay - that's why we ended up at 3-stars. Nothing outta this world here but the pizzas overall (IMO) look more appetizing than they really are. They are not the best pizza in GR by any means, but I really do like the thin crust - - so you don't feel weighted down with extra bread. And I would entertain going back to get a whole pizza on their menu and give them another shot and see how that goes.

The concept was a pleasant surprise, it has more of a sports bar atmosphere than a traditional Italian restaurant, but they still offer a solid selection of pastas, pizzas, subs, and other comfort food favorites. They also have a full bar, making it a great place to catch a game. We started with the pepperoni rolls, and they were easily the highlight of the meal. The garlic butter and Parmesan on top made them absolutely irresistible, definitely a 10/10 appetizer. For my entrée, I ordered the fettuccine Alfredo with grilled chicken. The chicken was well-seasoned and had a nice crispy exterior that added some texture to the dish. The Alfredo itself was good, but fairly standard and nothing particularly memorable. The garlic bread was also solid and complemented the meal well. While this isn't the best Italian food I've ever had, it was satisfying, reasonably enjoyable, and exactly what I was looking for that evening. I'd happily come back, especially for the lively sports bar atmosphere and those pepperoni rolls.

I was curious to try Uccello's fare after all the chatter. The staff are enthusiastic, from greeting to service to checkout, knowledgeable about their menu, mindful of checking in during the meal, and friendly. The Meatball sub & U-fries combo was a hearty portion but I found the flavor and seasoning weirdly subdued, especially considering they have a vested interest in selling beverages. I would have thought it to be more tomato-forward and salty. My trip ended before I could do a return visit, but I'll be back in a few months and grab something else from the menu. There's definitely potential here.

The space is cozy and pretty large, with what looked to be a private area with a birthday party going on towards the back. Our server was really friendly and patient as we explored the menu, which features Sicilian items like pizza, pasta, and several starters. We wanted to try some appetizers so we ordered the cozze di mare (mussels) with white sauce, rotoli (eggplant rolls filled with Prosciutto di Parma, house-made tomato sauce and provolone cheese, baked then topped with basil), and a Caesar salad. The mussels and eggplant dish came out first and were delicious. I personally loved the eggplant rotoli the most - the eggplant was tender, the sauce was savory, and it was stuffed with cheese and prosciutto... yum! I would get this as a meal with a side of garlic bread for dipping. The mussels were nicely cooked and the sauce was subtle. The salad was crisp and fresh and I liked the different toppings (fresh tomatoes and sun dried tomatoes). The Caesar salad only comes in the large size, but it was good to share with the group. For dinner we shared a couple of pizzas - the bocce and a margherita. The freshly grated cheese over top was perfection - don't skip this! I loved all the toppings on the bocce (basically a version of a supreme pizza) but the pepperoni was my favorite with how crispy it got. The crust was missing a bit of flavor for me, but it was cooked well and not soggy. We were too stuffed for dessert but I'd come back for their cannoli or rotating cheesecake flavors! I want to try their pasta next also.
