Disappointing. Service on a pick up, only customer at around 1:30 PM, was here it is since paid on the app. Ordered Calzones. Funny name since in some parts of the world means underwear. Pepperoni was inside, plenty of red sauce, cheese low amount, over all taste below expectations, it just lacks quality. Chicken a little better but nothing special. The marinara sauce provided distinctively sweet, should have try another type. Having to bake it did not make it any better besides hot out of the oven. Almost $30. I can't give them more than one star as they can't follow simple requests which makes them actually dangerous to some customers. Twice in a row (two different visits), I specified NO tomatoes on my order. The second time I even made sure the person taking my order heard me and she even repeated it back. Both times they put huge handfuls of tomatoes on my order. - While my sensitivity to tomatoes isn't dangerous for some people this could be, and even if it was just my preference at 50.00 for two uncooked items they should be able to comply with such a simple request as to not put an item on your food. Both of the last times I was in there I also noticed this seems to be a management/training issue. - People's orders are not made together so you have to ask where the other part of your order is and wait while other people who ordered after you get their food. -They all look a little confused and unsure how the flow of completing orders should go. -Part of my order kept being taken to the back area where they clean dishes as if they weren't sure what was on it and had to look it up. The papa Murphy app sucks beyond belief!!!! Spent 45 minutes before I gave up! First it's glitchy and super slow, then when I tried to use a $2 reward it just got stuck in thinking mode for 10 minutes, I reset phone with 3 attempts- then finally it said reward not available! I assume it was because I was using the online only deal (large 2 topping for $10.99) they could of helped by having reward details or exclusions on the reward option! Then it was just saying "reward not available" pop ups for about 5 minutes. I reset phone and skipped reward section and to my desmise they didn't have the option anymore to pay in store (they previously did!) AND you can't use a EBT card online! You previously could! By now I'm sitting in the lobby and the staff says I can only get the deal if I order online,and "I don't have those codes for online deals" so I would literally be paying double for a pizza $20+ for which I would have to cook myself without ordering online in which I can't anyways, My advice -Dont use app! Unless you got a half an hour and want to pay full price using a credit card. And there's no guarantees It will work anyways. My advice to the owner of Papa Murphy's 1) fix your app! The employee then stared at me after handing me my pizza so I had to ask for my Scratch-made 5-Cheese bread (and then again for the marinara dipping cup), my S'mores Bars dessert, and my garden salad. It was like the employee had no concept of fulfilling an online order. There was no salad available so I had to wait while one was made. Prices are extreme for take-n-bake items, especially considering the price of natural gas to cook my items at home. Charging for a small packet of salad dressing(s) for a salad that costs $8 is insulting. My advice is to sign-up for their text messages where you will routinely get 20%, 25%, and 30%-off promo codes which is the only time that Papa Murphy's is remotely worth the price. Every time j go, whether I order online, call in or have to repeat my order in store when trying to pick up and getting the wrong ingredients on what I've already ordered. They NEVER get it right. They will let you pick up your pizzas and not even check the receipt to assure you have all your items. If you call them with a problem they act like it's not their fault and you can bother their manager between 10 and 2. Whenever possible I order through the Eaton rd. Location it's just that driving from paradise just for pizza to not even get it correct EVERY TIME from the bottom of the hill or drive all the way across town, THEN back up the hill. May as well order cooked pizza in town at that point. Also, don't expect to ACTUALLY hear from the manager or get your money back for missing/incorrect items. My advice; stop hiring high school kids to run your business without any kind of responsible adult to manage them. Out a little more effort into training and assuring that your business is being run properly. For the price of things these days..... at least work for your pay. read more

I asked my wife what she wanted to eat and she decided on Papas Murphys. It was 8:08 pm and the other two stores were closing at 8:30 so I ordered from this store as they closed at 9. I paid online and and was told by the app to pick-up by 8:42. I drove accross town to find the four locked. Two people finally came and said they closed early but they didn't make my pizzas. I told them I paid for them already and their response was to talk to the manager tomorrow. No work ethic here. Another store would have called me. read more

We are super annoyed with this location. This shop never seems to have a manager in. We called 3 days ago regarding an issue and we're supposed to get a call back. 2 calls later still no response and they are never in the store when we call. They made our order so greasy and oily that the cheese slid off the top and burned into our oven. There was so much of it that it went into the grates of the gas burners making our oven unsafe to use and smoking us out of the house. We had to open the windows when it's freezing outside and we have a toddler and newborn. Additionally my husband has a medical condition and the smoke caused by this is very dangerous. We are very upset and still waiting on a response from them. Meanwhile we now have to take our oven apart to fix the problem caused by them putting a ridiculous amount of oil. I've been going to this Papa Murphy's on a regular basis since about 2011 and have never had a problem with their pizza, service or anything. I've walked in and ordered, ordered over the phone, ordered online - and the service has always been consistently excellent. The Notre Dame Blvd location is convenient, it is clean, the staff are very nice and friendly, they always make a good pizza - every single time - and the pizzas are always delicious. Not only do I buy pizza for my family, but I own a business that is about 2 blocks from this Papa Murphy location and have made larger purchases of many multiples of pizzas. Often we will have classes, events, meetings, celebrations or promotionals in our store and we put out sodas, cookies and Papa Murphy pizza from the Notre Dame location. We mainly cater to a lot of men and let me tell you - they LOVE this pizza! The vegetables and meats are always fresh, the dough is always perfect. Once I decided to get a pizza from another national pizza chain that had the pizza cooked when it arrived at my door. I ordered their chicken, spinach, bacon, artichoke, ranch and it was gawd awful! You get spoiled eating Papa Murphy's, who make an absolutely delicious chicken, artichoke, bacon, spinach pizza. My husband loves the Cowboy pizza, because it has so much meat on it. It is so much less expensive, and yet it is a superior product to the other pizza places. YUMMY! And when you pull it out of your own oven, how much fresher and hotter can you get it? Anyone who says this Papa Murphy's isn't A#1 is full of beans. This is a wonderful shop and I highly recommend it. read more

Hmmmm, it's 5:10 pm on New Years Eve. I went to order a medium pizza and I'm told, They're out of Medium pizzas...What! How is a pizza place out of medium pizzas? She said, "we're out of medium pizza dough." Again what! That doesn't even make sense to me. Now if you're NOT wanting to bother with selling medium pizzas on NY's Eve just say so. Otherwise this/you sound lame to me, in my opinion. It's always helpful to train the staff on how to explain these little menu changes on special holiday nights. I've not only heard but seen moldy produce rolled out on their unsanitary trays and then taken back to be thrown out, but then replace the item in the same bin. The managers disregard their employees and leave them throughout the entire day to fend for themselves with I'm guessing is little knowledge on what to actually do when a paying customer complains. From prior experience, their dough is too risen to actually still be in the date of use, which means they're either using expired dough or their walk-in refrigerator is too hot to keep the temperatures of not only the dough, but all of the produce as well as any dairy product, at a safe temp. They barely date their salads and the employees remake at least 4-5 pizzas daily. I'd only assume this inexperience with these high school employees is because of the lack of training they had when they started. Hopefully, with the right training from adult managers, this location can start becoming good again. read more

Don't waste your time, order at the Mangrove location. They are owned by different people and run completely different. This place sucks. Called and placed an order. They said it would be 20 min. Came 30 min later and they said it would be another 15 to 20 min. Came in another 20 min later and they said it would be another 15 min. Came back in another 15 min later and my pizza is gone. They have no idea what happened to it. Location only complaint- We've used this location three times since we moved to this side of town. EVERY time we've gotten home and the pizzas they've given us are wrong. The last time I even asked the cashier to double check they matched. Got home and we had a steak and garlic instead of the chicken gourmet. I understand poor reviews due to call in orders. Especially on a Friday or Saturday evening. Overwhelmed staff can be disastrous. I left a `meh' review a year ago due to a really poor experience about charging my regular crust $6 more than the thin crust, and scraping off the extra sauce I asked for off and dumping it back in the sauce tray while I watched. Tonight was different. I went in at 5:30 when it was slow. The staff was different, and were very chatty and very friendly. I asked for extra sauce, and there was no extra charge this time. They threw it on and left it on. I know they are supposed to weigh everything but my 1/2 combo 1/2 Hawaiian was loaded and not skimped, Lots of sauce, and as I said, lots of toppings. I totally give the staff credit. BTW, Papa Murphy's corp raised the prices again. Not the franchise's fault. This is simply corp greed again. For some reason,corporate doesn't understand pricing a take and bake $2-$3 over a baked combo from the nearby competition will reduce repeat biz. The difference for me, especially this time, was the preparers were friendly, and I was a real customer, not a number. Again, this has to do with the staff. read more

I used to really enjoy coming to this Papa Murphy's. My family and I have been going to this location for years now, but up until the past 3-4 months the service has gone severely downhill. They are incredibly rude, they don't know their product and what changes you can do to a pizza. The store manager, Michaela, is equally rude and has no clue what she is doing. My family and I now go to the Papa Murphy's on Eaton Road, they are so friendly, and are very pleasant to visit with while ordering my pizzas.
