Order pick for pick up went smooth. The inside was pretty busy. The seating was limited because it was a Friday night and everyone was looking for pizza I guess. The pizza was okay. Pretty mid. I'm noticing papa John's pizza is best fresh. It doesn't reheat well at all. Right out the box when I picked it up was really good. Once the temp cooled- that freshness must've cooled off with it. Store 3019 is horrible. We ordered to have pizza's delivered and I guess the delivery driver (door dash) took off with our pizza because online it said our pizzas were delivered but we never received it. Another time we ordered and went to pick it u. We got there 20 minutes after we ordered and was told it would be another five minutes. Turns out they lost our order and an hour later we finally got pizza. While we were there we saw orders coming in over the phone and they were printing tickets. After the tickets were printed they put them on the counter and waited to put those on boxes. Multiple tickets fell off the counter and onto the floor; I let the cashier know but they shrugged me off and kicked the tickets under the counter further. Terrible experience at this Papa John's. We placed an order on DoorDash around 6:40 PM, and the app said it was ready for pickup. When we arrived, they didn't have the order at all, so we had to place it again at 7:52 PM and didn't get it until 8:52 PM. Some customers who placed their orders an hour in advance were told they still had to wait another 25-40 minutes when they arrived. Meanwhile, staff completely ignored people waiting in the store. The floors were dirty, and the service was chaotic. I waited 45 minutes for my order and saw others waiting even longer. Absolutely unacceptable--don't waste your time here. read more

This is a double bacon double pineapple pizza. Don't waste your time/money and order from whatever other place you were debating on. This is the second time in a row we've had a mess up from here spaced about 4 weeks apart. The first time, the pizza was obviously old because it was dry and extra firm. What can one say about Papa John's Pizza? It's going to be all about who is hired at this particular location at the time and who is delivering it. I would use Uber Eats and not call it in because then you're using THEM and not a service meant for delivery and it comes faster, in my experience. We've had one bad problem with the pizza and we received a credit for our pizza and a credit for a future pizza and wings. So we were pleased. Again, this was based on employees there at the time. It is a franchise, after all. Probably rolling the dice there. Pizza is typical Papa John's quality. A 7/10. So good for a pizza night when you're tired of dealing with the wait times of other "local places". read more

If I could zero stars I would: I get Halloween is a thing but legit 3 hours and then there is no manager who can handle a call. And when you call they hang up on you. This pizza was a disappointment. When it was picked up it was cold even though it was picked up before the promised time. The dough was not completely done and the meat distribution on a meat lovers' pizza was scimpy. The service was not anything to be happy about as the woman who took the order seemed preoccupied. I called in advance to ensure our pizza would arrive on n time. It was expected within 35 minutes. When I called after 50 minutes, the manager was short and curt with me. I order a small pepperoni pizza for delivery and after it was being prepared for 10 minutes I drove up there to pick it up since I didn't want a cold pizza by the time it was finally delivered. They canceled the payment so I wouldn't waste my money on a delivery fee and tip and it will take several days to go back to my card. I paid again then asked if I could get a coupon or a free drink and the manager told me since I already paid she couldn't do anything unless we canceled the second payment and did a 3rd payment. Haven't been able to order delivery from here in years. Just called the store and someone said hello. I said hello, is this papa John's? They said yes and I said you should probably answer the phone saying so. She said my bad I'm a little out of it. I asked about delivery and she said when we get too busy we turn off delivery. Just a V few things to consider when you're posting a review. There's so much anger in our world why spread more?? I ordered a pizza tonight online and it did say estimated delivery time 60 minutes. After an hour I tried calling but just got the tone for a fax machine.. my pizza did arrive, yes it was late. The minute the driver apologized I could tell he was very frazzled. He said there was only two drivers and all the high school graduations and parties had them swamped. It wasn't the drivers fault, so many establishments are barely keeping doors open because they are all short handed. I assured the driver I knew it wasn't his fault and assured him I had included a 20% tip for him. I think it was the first time someone had said something nice to him all evening. We get our pizza from this Papa John's quite often, on average about once a month. We find them to be consistent with their quality service and food product and the pricing is good if you wait for the 50% off online order specials and other deals. They do this on Wednesdays when the Spurs play and for other special events. I would never pay full price for Papa John's as their regular menu prices are outrageous. But wait for the special deals and the food is worth it. During our most recent purchase on 11/28 they forgot to include our pizza sauce with an order of cheese sticks, but this is the first problem I have come across with my order during dozens of visits. I do recommend getting pizza at this store if you find a good discount offer. read more

Horrible. I had had a bad experience with customer service e few years ago but decided to give them one more try. I ended up with RAW DOUGH in an order of "garlic cheese knots". I had eaten two bites before I realized that the gooey white stuff was not cheese but RAW DOUGH. It gave me stomach cramps, vomiting, and diarrhea. I called the restaurant and spoke to the manager who #1 laughed at me #2 asked me why I waited so long to call (4 hours because I was physically ill) #3 stated that I probably became ill due to a gluten allergy and #4 said all he could do was offer me a free replacement of "garlic cheese knots". I have ordered from this location since it opened, I ordered two pizzas on 8/13/2013 put the order in around 11 am. went to sleep because I just got off work. had the order scheduled for 645 pm. 645pm came around the driver got to my house, everything was fine..........UNTIL! the delivery driver put the pizza transport box on the GROUND! I know it may not be that big of a deal but when its your food and he pulls it from a box off the ground. that's not right, its food not trash. I didn't eat it. I was fucking livid since they messed up other orders of mine in the past. I am upset since I consider myself a veteran PJ customer. This location usually is pretty good. However, today I order a pizza that came out well below par. When I opened the box it was very apparent that someone wanted to save some money by skimping on the toppings. This was supposed to be a Papa's Garden Fresh pizza. It turned out to be a cheese pizza with a few veggies on each slice. Since I picked it up, my bad on not opening the box. The reason I didn't was that they are usually pretty good. So much for the trust factor. I'll be looking for a better location to get my next pizza from. This is unfortunate, as my previous experiences have been enjoyable. read more

I ordered online for carry out yesterday. When I walked in, they said it would be about 5 more mins. When my pizza was ready, the girl opened the top box and I saw that it was not the pizza I ordered. For some stupid reason, there are times when online orders don't go through. So, someone from the "online" world calls the store and relays the order info. Seems like this would cause a whole lot of problems. Anyway, the manager stepped right up, offered to do whatever to make happy, AND THEY DID! This was the first time I've ever had something wrong with my order from PJ's. Disappointed!!! Been using this pizza place for about 7 years and each year it seems to get progressively worst. Even though this is the only papa johns dance in this area the employees should show some enthusiasm and appreciation to the customers who pickup their food. The attitude for the cashiers is atrocious...came really close to asking what the issue is...appears to have someone supervising the pie area but none at the register. Anything but that super rich cookie pizza! Delivery & to go are both awesome. The pizzas are amazing and the garlic sauce... seriously amazing! The pricing varies however so just check and double check. I have never been unhappy with an order and I will continue to come to this location. read more
