There was a problem with the Papa John's system, and the employees at this location did not try to help and did not care. First, I spoke to a person named Gabby, we explained that the website ordered the pizza from the wrong address and they just were not trying to help us. The Papa John's website made the mistake and picked the wrong store because you put your home address in, but they don't care. We asked to cancel the order and for a refund, but they refuse to help and they refuse to offer alternatives, other than coming to pick it up or receiving a cold pizza. I asked to speak to a manager and Gabby said I am the manager. I don't know if that's her real name or not. I tried the online ordering from a different device and the Papa John's website did the same thing it picked the same store to deliver from. Thankfully, they did cancel this order. I called back and asked for a manager and someone who claims his name is Joshua said I'm the manager. They do not care that it was the Papa John's system that messed up. This was the strangest, worst NY style pepperoni pizza I have ever had. First, it had ten times too much salt. It looked beautiful on top but had a strange aftertaste. 1/20/2024 I wish I was able to give a zero. This has been the worst experience I've ever had. When the pizza was delivered, it was burnt and overcooked. I called the store and the person i spoke to was very rude and disrespectful, he swear'd at me several times. I asked to speak with the manager, he stated he was the owner. His name is John Becerra, honestly I don't think that's his correct name. I inserted photos of what was delivered and he refused to refund me for the burnt pizza. We've had delivery from this location twice this month. The App and selection process is very easy. Only issue is the tracking system doesn't work. The delivery has been on time and friendly. Ordered online a few nights ago when our usual Dominos was not answering the phone. Pizza arrived very quickly, was delicious, and was made exactly as we ordered. Be sure and use an online coupon when you order. We almost decided not to order due to the price, until I found what appears to be a permanent half off online coupon. Just search "papa john's coupon," or go to Papa John's own "special offers" tab. But *don't* just blindly pay the regular price! Also don't bother with their chicken poppers. Just saw a papa john commercial and decided to give my opinion and my experience. I believe it is ok to charge double the amount per pizza , and not be cheap like any other pizza chain! Just like the commercial stated! The problem I have is that papa john charges a delivery charge and states that the delivery fee is not for the driver. So then , you have to tip the driver , and you want to give a nice tip. It makes papa john look greedy to me, therefore I would rather go to Pizza Hut and get 4 pizzas , unlimited toppings, for the same price as 1 pizza and delivery charge plus tip for the driver! I will never buy from papa johns again. I will order Pizza Hut online and pick it up myself. I decided I should be the greedy one! I will shovel 4 pizzas down and not give anyone a tip! I don't order from Papa John's anymore. Last year about this time a delivery driver pounded on my front door. I did not answer ( not being comfortable opening the door when I was home alone.) He finally left after cramming a piece of paper under my door knob. Once I felt safe, I pulled out the paper and was astonished to find an accusation that I had stolen my neighbor's pizza and committed credit card fraud by signing the receipt! I knew this had to be a mistake (I had just arrived home from running some errands) so I called the store and asked to speak to the manager. The manager said that his driver had delivered a pizza to my house and I had accepted it! I explained that it had to be a mistake, but the manager kept saying, "well, my driver says..." I offered to drive to the store so that the driver could see my face and know that he hadn't delivered a pizza to my house, but was told that it was not necessary. The manager gave me the name of the person who signed the receipt and it was not even a name I recognized. He kept saying, "maybe someone else at your house took the pizza...," but I WAS HOME ALONE! My husband was out of town on business. In the end, nothing ever came of this. To my knowledge the issue was never resolved. I contacted the company via their website to voice my extreme displeasure in the way I was treated, but never received a reply from anyone. I have not ordered from Papa John's since. I followed the Papa John's Delivery Driver down 36, to Band Rd. I have never seen someone spit so many huge goobers out the window and survive. I was three car lengths back just to avoid them, the wind picked one up and pasted it to my windshield... yuck! Lost my cookies (not really but just sayin') and most of my windshield wiper fluid trying to get rid of it.
