Their pizza crust and tomato sauce are just exceptional and I knew I would be satisfied, and yes, I was very satisfied this time again!!!! We had (take out) #Pizza Margharita I appoint this as the best Margharita in Durham region. No complain. The crust, tomato sauce, cheese and big generous aromatic basil leaves - simple beauty. #Pearfect Bite This is added to another favorite of mine at 468F Wood Fired Pizza! Sweet and savory combination - Sweet pear slices meet saltiness from pancetta and 2 cheese Fior di latte, flurry ricotta. Walnut pieces added extra texture, and acidity & sweetness from glazed balsamic completes the taste of the whole. Highly recommended! #Di Parma This is good, tad salty side, but I appreciated the bitterness of arugula, nuttiness from parmigiano, and again the reduced glazed balsamic' rounding up of the whole flavors. I cannot wait coming back here again to try new pizza items (but I cannot miss Margharita - that is my must item)!

The Pizza Shack has some great combo deals that would be perfect for feeding 4. We went with the extra-large 3 topping pizza, 20 wings, and 4 pops for $35.99. There are some premium toppings that are double the price of the other toppings like the sundried tomatoes and spinach. These are indicated on the website. You can order online from UberEats but we opted to call and placed an order with no issues. Our order was ready at the time that we requested. There is signage indicating that only 2 customers are allowed in the store at a time. The front counter is blocked off by a table. They have a really neat system to slide over payment and food to customers to maintain social distancing. Our pizza featured pepperoni, mushrooms, and sundried tomatoes. One comment I got was that the pizza was very topping dense which was a plus. I thought overall it was fine, maybe a bit less saucy and cheesy than I like. We were able to get 10 wings of one flavour and 10 of the other. The first was a basic BBQ which was my preferred flavour. We had the honey garlic which was quite sweet. Lastly, we also had a poutine. It was slathered which gravy but could have used some more curds. The fries were more of the bubbly exterior vs the cut potato style.

We ordered bacon, ham & pepperoni on the pizza and lemon pepper on the wings. Flavourful dough with good amount of toppings and tasty sauce for the pizza. Non-breaded wings and crispy with perfect amount of lemon & pepper flavour. Will definitely order from here again on our next pizza meal and look forward to trying the other items on the menu. Great job with social distancing by the owner, using chairs as barriers in front of the counter, plus a "ramp" to tap the machine to pay as well collect your order, love it!

By the time we arrived, we still had to wait a bit because they had just begun our order. I do like my food hot so I didn't mind, and they were really nice and apologized for the wait. I was a bit iffy about the cleanliness. I watched them switch from station to station, brush their hair or touch their face and then the food again. We had the meat lover calzone. It was very nicely stuffed and a great, light crispy breading. But it was really watery and wet so as we ate, there was a big puddle of water. I thought it would leak oil or something but it was just water. I think it might be from the tomato sauce. It wasn't the most appealing by the end. I also got the spaghetti meatball. I actually really liked the pasta and the simple basil tomato sauce. It hit the spot for me. But the meatballs were really bad. They were oddly cut in half and had a sour, off flavor. I think the meat had gone bad. I couldn't eat it and since we did take away, I couldn't really get it redone or tell the staff. Overall, I'm glad we gave it a try anyway. It was not the best food experience and probably won't get the same items again. The pizza does look good though so maybe we will try that next time we're around.

The best part about this place is the very friendly, warm service. Amazing people. My biggest critique is the pizza and the veggie in particular. The pizza is watery and this is likely because they put raw veggies on the pizza before it goes in the oven. An easy fix is to quickly sauté the veggie first before baking on the pizza. There was also no flavour. Just very disappointing. Kids enjoyed the cheese but in my view overall it's too pricey for what you get.

They have a huge menu of pizzas, pasta and more but I ordered a medium classic pepperoni because I knew it would be good and I'd have leftovers for later. Friendly service from Inthu who was at the front counter and my friend got her classic pepperoni slice right away. Mine came quickly in about 10 min and it was really good! Loved the taste and the small pepperoni that's usually on Detroit style pizzas. Dough was fresh and crispy! I found out that the chef named Kanan is husband to Inthu and originally worked at Pizzeria Libretto on Ossington Ave, Toronto for 14 years! This explains the high quality taste of pizza here at a great price! I had a great chat with Kanan and he was proud of the quality ingredients of his pizzas. I told him I could taste "love" in his pizzas and he smiled saying that when he makes the pizzas he always thinks of the people who will eat his food and really enjoy it. I'm definitely making a special trip back here and try more on their menu. Highly recommend!
