Location is really tricky. They are located in a condo building so parking has to be done behind the building ( in commercial visitors only section) They have pre set menu, but only on the screen. It is not mentioned on their website or the leaflets. (Gourmet toppings are twice the price of regular toppings. It is also not mentioned anywhere) Tried Siderno Pizza and Brampton pizza specialities. Medium pizzas are really big. It is expensive though ( two pizzas almost $60) It is delicious but not sure worth the price though. The pizza is pretty good. It has the right amount of cheese and sauce, per my taste. The crust is soft and crunchy at the same time. The tomato sauce is made from scratch and tastes great. My only gripe is that the pizza gets incredibly soggy to be edible for next day. (It's not soggy at all on the day of) So my advice would be to only order what you can finish. We didn't enjoy the pasta. There was very little sauce along with the spaghetti that we ordered. So it tasted very dry. The portion size is amazing though. read more

Started at the bottom now we're here.... A bit of an outdated reference, but it probably matches up with the first time I reviewed this place and gave it a lowly '2' starts. That first visit was literally the only negative I've ever had, and the countless ones since have all been great. We've probably ordered from here at least once a month the last 2-3 years. Each time it was consistent and no issues. Other pizza places can be consistent too, but Gusto really stands out in having far better ingredients than the comparables. The crust is simple but just right being not too doughy or greasy. The cheese is better quality and not excessive. The meat is better too - try the genoa salami for example. And the sauce is wonderful. You can literally see them making it from scratch in the window with them pouring stewed tomatoes down the machine. And they are legit Italian-run. I can still enjoy North Americanized pizza since I grew up on it, and if that style is your preference, perhaps stick to one of those places (Pizza Hut, Dominos, etc...). But here you are getting better quality ingredients with more subtle preparation - i.e. little grease, tomato sauce that isn't sugary, not dripping in cheese, etc...you get the idea. I'm not sure if Gusto measures up to the Old World pizza, but locally, they're much closer than anyone else in this price range hands down. Note: it is true that there can be a really long wait on weekends and delivery isn't always the fastest. For me, calling ahead, picking up and timing it accordingly still makes it worth it. read more

I visited for the first time and the lady making pizza was rude and the kid with red hair working as a cashier showed me the pizza slices that they had which all looked like they had been sitting out for hours. The restaurant also looked dirty therefore I walked out without buying any pizza from this restaurant. Not to mention that their rear parking lot was dirty with garbage everywhere. read more

Don't usually review things and never food. But the pizza I got from this place was so bad, people need to be warned. None of the toppings were fresh. When I say not fresh, I mean to the point of beginning to decompose as if they had been sitting for days at room temperature. The bacon was so far gone, that you could smell the decomposition without even lifting the lid of the box. Should have taken it back for a refund, but by the time I realized just how bad it was, I was 10km away sitting in front of the TV to watch a hockey game. Threw out the whole pizza instead. I dont get why people didn't give a good review for this place. And who gave this joint a $$$ price, it's actually only $, ok? It's not that pricey, same like pizza pizza. I went there for the first time yesterday, and my first impression was, wow this place has so many orders going even though only another person was ahead of us ordering pizza. People were calling nonstop to put down orders for pick up. I ordered their large pasta with garlic bread for $6.99 and I was impressed. The pasta portion was humongous for the price, I have enough leftovers for lunch the next day. We also got a large pepperoni pizza for a decent price, and it was pretty good also. They do have plenty of ready sliced pizza if people would want a single slice only instead of ordering an entire pizza. The staffs at friendly as well. I've passed by this pizza place (on the edge of downtown B-town) about a million times, and finally decided to give them a whirl. Standard pizza place fare: Pies, pasta, garlic bread, sandwiches, and salads. Good prices too (scored an extra large 2-topping for $15). The lady who served me was also very nice. As for the pizza itself, it was one of the better tasting ones I've had lately. Nothing spectacular, but more than worth the cost. read more

Gusto is practically next door, so we end up there a lot. I like everything there fairly well, and the prices are good. The toppings available are pedestrian, but of decent quality. The service is acceptable most or the time, but sometimes it's really quite bad. One time, for example, they never started making our pizza and so it wasn't even started when we arrived to pick up. No apology, no discount, no nothing. In fact, they were pretty surly about it. Anyway, they're reliable, inexpensive, and local. Local is the key: if they were further away, I would order from there a lot less often. read more

Pretty good pizza but poor customer service. By customer service I don't mean the people serving you do a poor job because the servers are usually pretty good. What I mean is the owners don't care about pleasing their customers. They do things like charge you double for toppings if you only want the topping on half the pizza or charge you for a topping if you want extra sauce. Okay so, I first came here 2 years ago, ordered a medium pizza and the first bite I took was just AMAZING. I've been to an extraordinary amount of pizzerias in Toronto and even New York, so that should say something about has amazing this pizza is (Not saying it is the best of course). I value a really well-rounded pizza and Gusto offers an EXCEPTIONAL version of that pizza. I would even compare it to many of the pizzas I had in New York. Anyways, the operation at Gustos is very friendly and its always a pleasure walking in and ordering. The prices are too good for what you get. So, the pizza's dough is nice and thin and they are very consistent with the way they keep it. The flavours of the sauce are so well-balanced with the cheese that every bite gets you asking for more. Overall, for the price, you are paying you get such a good quality pizza (The medium is literally the same price as Pizza Pizza and all those other uncultured chains). I saw a review that said it was so greasy, I think you just had an unlucky day, because in the DOZENS (I kid you not I love this pizza too much) all mine have been well-balanced and I do not appreciate an over greased pizza. I wanted to like this place but I can't. Mostly because the service isn't good and I don't like being in a negative atmosphere. The lady who served me frowned the whole time and looked like I was troubling her even though I was smiling and nice. My sister says she went there once a few years ago and they weren't using gloves to handle food after using cash register. She pointed it out to them and left. They must have renovated since then because you can't see behind the counter where they are cooking now. What turned me off the service was that the lady was overly nice to another customer but treated me less than average. The pizza itself was totally ok but could do with more sauce. We ordered for a children's party. My neighbours also ordered from them and complained about lack of sauce but it doesn't make the pizza bad or anything. absolute waste of money! the garlic bread is kaiser rolls which if you order cheese they melt it between a sheet of wax paper. if you manage to pick that out taking all the cheese with it, its soaked in butter with a faint garlic taste. ordered a small cheese pizza and the crust is so thin they couldnt even cook it all the way through or else the pizza would have been burnt on top. the sauce tastes like watered down spaghetti sauce and they had me pay 18$ for it. i would never return here again, nor would i recommend anyone i know to go here when pizzapizza is making a better quality pizza at a cheaper price. i guess this place is for people who grew up on it. read more
