I was very disappointed with my experience at the Pendleton Papa John's. I usually order from the Anderson location, and the food and service are always great, so I expected the same here. We ordered a Philly Cheesesteak sandwich, but it had very little meat on it. While that was disappointing, what upset me even more was that I specifically asked, "Are my sauces in the box?" I was told yes, so I trusted them and left. When I got home, both of the extra sauces I paid for were missing. The worst part of the experience happened as I was grabbing my 2-liter from the cooler. I hadn't left the store yet, and I overheard one of the employees call me a "white bitch." I was polite and respectful the entire time, so hearing an employee speak about a customer that way was completely unacceptable and unprofessional. Because of this experience, I will never return to this location. The food quality, poor service, and disrespectful behavior from the staff made this one of the worst experiences I've had at a Papa John's. read more

Ordered 2 medium pizzas and 3 cheese cups, only got 1 cheese. one of the pizzas was fine, the cheese pizza was missing cheese and sauce in the middle so it was just dough. Called for a refund and the manager "Charles" answered the phone rudely and hung up because i was confused what he was saying over the phone. I ended up having to go to the store where he was immediately threatening and yelling. Another employee an older woman was saying she can just remake it and that she doesn't want any problems. He then told me to go outside where he continued yelling for another 2 minutes until he brandished a firearm on me when I only wanted a refund. I went back to my car and called the police immediately. Police wouldn't do anything and nobody will answer my calls from the store the next day. Will never eat Papa John's AGAIN! If you have kids I would ABSOLUTELY recommend you to leave them at home if you decide to eat here NOT SAFE. read more

Came in for a pick up and there were only two people working in the shop. One guy was def new and being trained. That's a lot todo for starters! So just thank you for coming to work and taking that on. Greeted and treated so sweetly by the woman manager My toddler was in tow so I didn't open the box to check it out so a bit my bad but we ended up with one item was actually a duplicate. Normally wouldn't be a big deal (Ovi at least it was something we liked but we had two that didn't eat meat so I called to see what could be done) they offered of course to remake it but I really didn't want to come back into town. Waited 40 minutes at the store after placing an order before leaving, only for them to sub bone-in wings for my boneless wings. They did ask if the substitution was okay, but there wasn't another option. Got home and opened up the wings they substituted and saw this. Disappointing to say the least. read more

I would give this zero stars if I could. This has nothing to do with the food, it has everything to do with principle - what is right and how you treat customers. We placed an order for pickup while on the freeway that we were going to try to eat on the go. After placing and paying for the order, we were told it would be an hour and a half later for pickup. That didn't work for us timing wise and we politely asked to cancel the order. We were then placed on hold until a manager could cancel our order. We sat on hold for forty minutes before they hung up the phone without even talking to us. We have no problem with them being busy, that is okay, but waiting on hold for forty minutes just to be cut off is ridiculous. We tried to call back 6 times and each time they answered the lady rudely screamed hold and we never got an actual answer. We had to literally drive to the store to cancel the order. All they were was rude to us when we got there. The worker even cussed us out. We know that working in the food service is not easy, but to be that rude is unacceptable. Being busy is not an excuse for making someone drive 40 minutes just to cancel an order. If I was the owner of the store, I would fire the lady that cussed us out before her tongue ring had a chance to fall out. read more

We have ordered their gluten free pizza many times. Every single time it has been in some stage of burnt. Once we called and waited for another because it was mostly black. They must think extra sauce means less sauce. The regular pizzas are well liked at our house. Gluten free I don't understand how they can not ever start getting them right. Theirs are not that tasty anyway, then add that they mess them up every time and it is very much a waste of money. They should look up 'fat head dough', actually not burn them, and realize extra means extra. read more

These people are really slipping in there duties My family and I ordered 2 pizzas and breadsticks at 7:06 and it didn't get here till 8:30 and when My mom hit the no contact button on accident the guy delivering our pizza and breadsticks left the boxes on the ground does that count as a health code violation so the pizza and breadsticks got here late and the guy didn't know if he was supposed to apologize but the pizza was good 2/5 stars what do you think?! read more

I've never been disappointed in Papa John's till today. I order 2 Epic crust pizza's w/ a 2 litter @ 6:23 paid $32.02. It's busy but bearable. 25 minutes go by the cashier says "it's in the oven". only to let another 30 minutes go by. I have my son pulling at my sleeve. I ask her if she can take another look and comes back empty handed- "It's not in the system" . So she lied or didn't even look the first time... not coming here again. Terrible experience every single time I have ordered from here! Called in tonight for my "replacement" order. Yes, "replacement", as in to correct a previous mess up. They put it in as takeout, not delivery?! So, how do they correct this second mis-hap? By letting us know they will have their next delivery driver bring our pizza in half an hour. Greeeeat, bring my now HOUR old "replacement" pizza! When calling to complain about my cold pizza that is labeled for 5:38 PM (I received at 7:09 PM!) Tabitha, the manager hung up on me! Order from here often and never have an issue with our food, except one time. I was heavily pregnant and ordered 2 extra cheese sauces to go with our breadsticks and pizza..food arrives and no cheese sauces, they forgot. I wanted that cheese sauce SO bad (all women who have been pregnant and have cravings know what I am talking about here!) I started crying..yeah, no kidding. So the next day we are out running errands and hubby stops by the store and tells them what happened (Geez I hope he left out the part that I cried about it) and the lady felt so bad for me she gave hubby an entire bag of cheese sauces for me!!! LOL So...customer service mistake but at least they cared about trying to fix it. They have a standing special on Mondays..a large 1 topping carryout pizza for $5.99..can't beat it! read more
