Their large outdoor seating area had over half the tables filled and there was a line at the bar. Anywho, I ordered my usual flight and got a Bock, a Kolsch and 2 IPA's. The beers were all solid but nothing that wow'd me per se. If I had to pick I'd say the Hop-a-Doches (hazy IPA) was my favorite of the group. The best part is that the flight of 4 beers was only 9.00. A steal! I wasn't hungry but there was a shed that served pizza in the courtyard. They had a baked potato pizza as the special that day and it was weird enough that I almost ordered one despite being full. There was also a food truck serving Mediterranean food but that may have been a rotating thing. The people were very nice, the place was cool and the beer was cheap.

The only drawback is that they do not have an air-conditioned area and this is the summer in Texas so it was extremely hot outside even at 6 PM at night. This would be a great place for a small event or to especially visit in the spring or fall in Texas. The venue is a nice outside garden type of atmosphere with a pavilion set with tables for eating pizza and tasting wine. We will go back when the weather is a little cooler.

I look at the bartender and was like you didn't give me the correct change. She looked at me like I was wrong. "I can give you the two quarters is you want." I mean I was gonna give her that anyway but I felt like she was taking. Ain't no way they would've given me that beer if I was two quarters short on the original payment. So I don't understand why she felt the need to keep it. People have gotten way too comfortable not giving back change correctly. This isn't the Flash I remember.
