Ordered a pizza with a 2 liter Pepsi. Before order was delivered, got a call telling me that they were out of Pepsi and asked if I wanted something else. Told them I didn't want anything else, was told they would take it off the ticket. When pizza showed up, delivery driver told me that they couldn't remove the item since I ordered through the app and told me I would have to contact Papa Johns. Asked the driver for the number. He had to call the store and got me a toll free number to papa johns. I called and found out the number they gave me was for store use only. Was given a different number. Was told that the franchise has to do the refund and there is nothing they can do but "elevate" the complaint to "upper management" of the store. Was told they would contact me. I have contacted papa johns at least three times and they keep telling me the same thing, they will elevate and someone should contact me. Nobody has ever contacted me. So the store tells me that they can't do anything and to contact corporate. Corporate tells me nothing they can do and to contact the store. So this store basically stole the cost of a 2 liter. Not the end of the world, but terrible business. So just wanted to warn everyone about this store. Update 6/15/20 Based on my review, papa johns reached out to me. They offered to refund my full order to try and make it right, even though all I wanted was the refund for the 2 liter that wasn't delivered. I must give credit where credit is due, and the refund is much appreciated. I will give the store another chance and I will add two stars to my review. read more

My last 2 online orders are not what I ordered online. I told the person there that they were not correct. He responded well you get what you ordered from online. I told him that was not what I ordered and he said it was and there was nothing he could do. He told me to call the Manger. I left to messages and no response. The pizza is good customer service is no existent. I called like 2 weeks later and the manager basically siad that it happens from time to time? WTF! read more

Awful! I don't know what happened to this place or who owns it now. But this place SUCKS!!!!! If you want disgusting, low quality pizza, this is it. Yuck! They use to be great over a year or so ago but never again. It's terrible. Never ordering again. read more

Aweee lol I'm kinda sad because I really wanted to give this place a good review because for the most part I've never had any issues with you guys up until today and my food is always correct and ready the past three times I've visited. So I usually don't actually order food here for myself I've picked up for friends and family but today I decided to pick something up for myself ! I had just seen the Pappadia commercial on tv before I left my home so I decided to try the cheeseburger pappadia as it was still lingering in my mind ....upon getting home and opening my box I found two hairs waiting for me a brown one and a black one ....sigh I'm glad I ordered a pizza in which no hairs were visible . I did not eat the pappadia ...not that there was hair on the food itself but the hair in the Box just put me off of the meal in general lol ..:maybe hairnets in the kitchen would be a good idea ? :( hopefully I'll have better experience next time ! read more

Papa Johns Pizza - Burned garlic knots - Pizza Near Me - Kingwood, Texas

Ordered online. Tried for almost 50 minutes (7 phone calls & LOTS of hold time) to get through on the store's phone number to make an adjustment on the pick-up time. NO ANSWER on any option other than "to place a new order". The people on the new order line were OFFSHORE & couldn't help except to connect me with the unanswered line. Very frustrating!! read more

This location is the absolute worst. They do not follow specific directions for pizzas and deliver sub-par quality products. The customer service is even more terrible when you have an issue. I recently had an order take over an hour and a half despite a 35 minute time quote. After it arrived, both pizzas were cold, one was completely devoid of toppings on two slices, and the other was way overcooked. I called and they assured me my card would not be charged. Well, it was. When I called back, I was told corporate would have to handle it. Corporate told me the store would be contacting me in 48 hours and issuing a refund. Never received a follow up. After getting the run around for a month, still no refund. If you want terrible pizza and even worse customer service, check out this location. Otherwise there are much better pizza options in the area. read more

Not Good when the staff is rude because they were under staffed, and delivering 30 to 60 after quoted time. Ok if your going to be late at least deliver me a hot pizza, not cold and old. You didn't have to take my order, I understand stuff happens but don't bring me into your misery. Follow up to this review. I was sent a questionnaire on line from Papa John's. Spent 5 or 10 minutes on the questions and at the end it stated that someone would contact me....never happened. read more

If I can give this place zero stars I would. I ordered a pizza just to find the longest hair in the pizza. I have my hair braided so there is no way it could be mine plus it was the first time I opened the box. When I called the store they were unapologetic and didn't care. I will never eat at papa johns ever again. Horrible customer service!!! read more

This is the second time I have ordered a pizza for delivery and it's taken over 1:45 min from start to door step. These pizzas are not that special. If you work here or are in management for this location you are not living up to the papa johns business model. Unfortunatley this is the last time we order here. I will be coming to this location to make my complaint in person. HEB Digioron here I come. read more

The manager I spoke to tonight, was the kindest and most listening person ever. I had SUCH a complicated and odd order and she was very understanding and made sure she got every detail. They're awesome!!! read more

So bad , honestly this review is based on the last 3 times we have ordered. Tonight , waited an hour for our pizza ... which was wrong , cold to the touch and clotted cheese . So over it . Spent almost 45$ on 2 pizzas and they were awful. Also by the way was charged for a large and was sent a medium. Get it together . read more

Omg!! I don't know the last time I made a bad review, it has to have been years!! However, I ordered today and the customer service is probably the worst ever and laughable at best. The manager is obviously a joke and they have no idea what they are doing. I hope cooperate removes the people they have "working"... we recieves the wrong order, no big deal...BUT, the big deal was calling to fix it. The guy on the phone obviously partakes in whatever slow mo drugs he can find, the manager is too busy to speak to anyone, and they can't fix our order because, well, they're just that busy! I had to get my husband to call from offshore and after we both were hung up on multiple times, calls to cooperate, and finally the manager coming to the phone... we get a free pizza on our account. Yaaayy... ... this is what I get for cheating on Domino's or RCS. This would never be an issue, especially with RCS. Back to what we know and avoid at all costs! Happy Valentine's Day! here's to hamburger whatever pizza that we don't eat... no hearts for my little girls this year! read more

Ordered delivery on a Thursday at 530pm. Delivery time quoted was 30-40 mins. A hour later still no pizza. I was just about to call when there was a knock at the door. 1 hour and 10 mins later and pizza guy didn't even apologize or have a reason he was so late. I had paid online with credit card and already included the tip because I didn't have any cash on me so I had no choice but to just let him keep the tip for the horribly slow service. Won't be ordering from this papa johns again. Too many other pizza options in the area. read more

Just ordered a large, five-topping pizza for the family! I was shocked- The gentlemen that took our phone order was named Bruce, and he was so polite and patient! We order from Papa Johns and other places quite a bit for delivery, and most people have always rushed me through or placed me on hold multiple times. Not Bruce- he has impeccable manners and made a short delivery order seem like a nice conversation. Just moved here from Austin 6 months ago and will definitely be ordering from this location again! I hope Papa Johns takes note- we get take out all the time and this guy was a stand out on the phone, as I never take the time to do reviews let (alone give a five star.) read more

We ordered delivery through the app. A little over an hour went by without delivery, so we called. We were told there were only two delivery drivers. We waited some more and called again. We verified our order had been canceled. No phone call, email or app notification was sent to us. Yes, we're getting a refund but had to call twice to finally understand we were not having dinner delivered. Particularly disappointing since we just returned home from long trip and didn't really have groceries. We won't be back. read more

Utterly shameful. We waited over an hour for a 30 minute max delivery. Ordered an extra large half pepperoni and beef, half cheese. Pizza got here with the box visibly beat up and lukewarm. There was beef on the entire pizza (which is why I prefer Pizza Hut since they know how to keep toppings on half a pizza). There was a hair cooked into one of the slices. The crust was more well done than usual and I had to tear about two inches of crust to separate my slices. Not impressed again. Surprised they're still in business. read more

OK, this Papa John's store used to be our go to for last minute pizza orders, but it's time to find a new pizza place in Kingwood. Ordered a large pepperoni with extra sauce and told it would be 30 minutes. Arrived after 25 minutes and with only two people in the shop waited while looking at my order in the window. They were obviously under staffed!!' Got home and the pie appeared to be over baked and dry, yes no extra sauce! This will be our last visit there. Looking for a corporate site to complain. read more

Using the app is pointless. Pizza was ready 30 min after it said I picked it up. Management needs to focus on customers standing at the counter that have prepaid and have a person handing those pizzas out. Instead three guys in the back being instructed to fold boxes. Pizza was warm and order was wrong! read more

I remember just a few years back (1980s) when the big pizza companies tried to win market share by making a good pizza. Junk pizza was isolated to college towns where you could get your belly full on the cheap. Now they are all the same. Last night 12/26 we ordered pizza because we couldn't gather the strength to do anymore cooking. Junk, pure junk. You know it's junk papa johns, I'm not telling you anything you don't already know. I wish you guys would test the market.. what if we made a good pizza... what if we told you upfront that we were going to charge the consumer 35 bucks for this pizza, but in return the consumer would actually enjoy the meal. I would pay it. You guys spend 10s of millions on research to avoid doing the one thing you are supposed to do. Make a good pizza! No no, we want to be in the chicken biz, we want to make cinnamon rolls, blah blah blah. Keep it simple stupid. Make a good pizza, I bet you might be surprised at the results it would yield! read more

Ordered a heart shaped pizza and brownie tonight at 6:43 on Valentines Day. I was emailed a confirmation and it said 30-40miuntes. At 8:03 I called to see when is was going to be delivered and I was told another hour. My child whom I ordered this for has to be in bed and is now super grumpy from not having dinner. When I got an answer and cancelled the order I was very rudely hung up on. Tis the reason Pizza Hut needs to offer stuffed crust heart shaped pizza!!! These people in Kingwood need to humble themselves. I have been here maybe 2 times and they are always so privileged and rude. I grew up in Kingwood and worked in Kingwood 16-19 and never would treat an adult this way. DONE WITH KINGWOOD BRATS!!!! read more

I enjoy Papa John's Pizza and order it for delivery quite often. Once the order is placed, they usually tell me that it will take about 45 minutes for delivery. Eighty percent of the time, they are usually about 15 minutes late - I am not happy that they rarely make it to my house within the quoted time frame, but I still tip well and move on. Tonight, I ordered a pizza and was once again told that it would take about 45 minutes for delivery (I planned on an hour). After an hour, I called to inquire about the status of my order, I was given the run-around, then told it would be at least another 15-20 minutes and no attempt on their end to offer any type of an apology. I suggested to the manager that perhaps in the future they should call their customers and advise them they are running behind. A little courtesy goes a long way. Finally, 1.5 hours later, my pizza arrived and the delivery man didn't even apologize for delivering the pizza 45 minutes after the originally quoted delivery time. This is the last time I will ever order pizza from this location. Epic Fail! read more

It was fine until they gave us the wrong pizza. I understood there was an issue and she said we get a free pizza so we waited. When we called the first time Shelby gave my friend attitude we choose to ignore it. after an hour and thirty minutes, we called back and to our surprise, Shelby still had an attitude I was calm until I heard the attitude in her voice. I think this place is fine the driver was kind but not Shelby, she miss spoke and said you can get a free pizza instead of free credit for a pizza and had the outright audacity to raise her voice at a PAYING CUSTOMER. Needless to say We will not be buying from te Papa's establishment In Kingwood anymore. read more

Have always ordered from this location but never again. Order 6 pizzas & 2 cheesesticks on Friday(12/14/18) night, Website said 39 to 49 minutes for delivery. After an hour, I called the store only to be told the driver was told no one order pizza at the house he went to - not ours & the order had been cancelled. I asked how they were going to remedy & the girl on the phone said I could wait another 30 minutes for order to be redelivered! How could it be delivered when the driver couldn't find the correct house the first time. Called again a few minutes ago, only to get the same girl but to be told she's the manager. I asked when the owner would be in the store & her reply was "never" ! Again she took the side of the driver. The driver couldn't have missed our house if he was on the correct street as the house is decorated for Christmas and we received "Santa's Best" from Kingwood Civic Club. read more
