Chain pizza, so it's standardized. I'm not a fan pf Papa John's Pizza, but when the good pizza places are closed and you want pizza it will do. At least the staff get the order correct. The restaurant is always clean. Mostly they deliver or have pickup, but they do have a couple of benches inside where you can sit down and eat. The pizzas are pretty standardized. They measure the amount of toppings each one receives. When you order extra cheese, they actually put extra cheese on it (1/2 cup) unlike another pizza chain that just puts the cheese on top of the other toppings then adds a sprinkle more (this makes it look like a lot of extra cheese). The thin crust pizza is more cardboard tasting. It is crispy. The regular crust is bread like. The sauce is very bland. Noting special. I will say the vegetables are f I have not used delivery in years, so I cannot comment on that service. read more

I ordered the Doritos cool ranch and took off the onions and got onions ‍. It has okay flavor. The dipping sauce is the one thing that has the cool ranch taste. I'm not sure if I'll order it again. I wish they would come back with the pepperoni crusted one. read more

In town for a weekend getaway today and didn't feel like leaving the Airbnb I have the Papa Johns App which perhaps makes the experience more seamless. Pizza was delivered timely and hot. I think chain restaurants sometimes get a bad rap - and I love to support local. But this is obviously a well managed Papa Johns and it was just what we needed in this moment. Papa John's was always our go to for delivery in GB. However, they have changed from dedicated delivery drivers to third party folks...who have consistently been slower, not used warmer bags, and delivered us cold pizza. read more

I normally order from here using the app. The staff is always friendly, no matter how busy they are, and my order is always ready when I arrive. Never had a bad pizza and the wings are really good. Sat in my car eating my pizza watching these kids work and immediately lost my appetite. The guy touching all the pizza ingredients making the pizza wiped his nose with his bare hand twice and then continued touching the ingredients making pizzas. he then checked out some customers touching the register and dirty cash and then never went to a sink to wash his hands and started making pizza again. this place should be shut down for being unsanitary. The female manager is literally the most rude, disrespectful, disgusting person I've ever had the displeasure of speaking too. She hung up on me twice, after apparently mistaking me for someone else. She INSISTED I was someone she's spoken to 3 times who gets mad because they didn't have the toppings she wanted. Well guess what.. I only order pepperoni pizza or some times a Hawaiian if my husband wants it. They've NEVER BEEN OUT OF PEPPERONI, HAM, OR PINEAPPLES!! Never again! Just got the wrong pizza delivered AGAIN! This is the 3rd time! This pizza had my order printed correctly on the box (I checked), but just a plain cheese pizza on the inside. No pepperoni (on a pepperoni pizza) and none the extra ingredients I ordered and paid extra to get. The last time this happened was several months ago and I filled out an online complaint- no reply, no apology, no offer of compensation from this restaurant. We ordered on the Papa Johns App on Sunday, 10/5 at 5:48 pm. Once our order was placed, the app indicated that delivery was estimated in 26-36 minutes. It should have been here between 6:14 pm and 6:24 pm. After waiting for 55 minutes, I called the local restaurant to check on our order. We were told that it would be there within five minutes. It was not here within five minutes. It finally did show up at 6:56 pm, more than an hour after ordering or 68 minutes. The breadsticks were burned. Not surprisingly, the pizza and breadsticks were not hot. We did not receive an apology when we called. We are very disappointed in the quality of the food and the customer service. read more

I live on Pensacola Beach and echo the comments others have made about the late delivery, burnt and lukewarm pizza you can expect from this location. Add to that the attitude of the drivers, and my pro-tip is; if you must order from this location, don't add your tip to your on-line order, but pay it on delivery. That way you get a chance to acknowledge the level of service you actually receive. ..... and to Papa John Corporate... drop the Papa Track thing. The customer service was also not good as I ordered online, had a coupon for free breadsticks if I spent over $15. I spent $23. I decided to call and let them know about the coupon. The Worker told me that in order to do the coupon, I had to cancel my credit card order and do it all over again. Really? So tonight we ordered two pizzas from Papa Johns in Gulf Breeze. It started three hours ago. We ordered on line and they were delivered in 40 minutes. Our delivery man was sweet and even complimented my lawn. Earlier today when I was at work I had a really good client gave me a tip, a cash tip. I don't usually take cash tips. But she was so happy to give it to me I took it. So tonight when I ordered the pizza I thought I'm going to give that $10 tip to our driver. He was so thankful and we both walked away :-). However when I got into my house I opened up one of the pizzas and it was made incorrectly. I called the Papa John's and explained what happened and they were extremely apologetic and said they were making a new pizza. They also said that we would have a free large pizza for the future. 40 minutes later the same driver comes back with our pizza. He then again apologizes and tells us again how much he likes our lawn. The best part was when we opened up the new pizza inside the box they had handwritten "We Are Sorry".
