It was everything we wanted...EVERYTHING. The restaurant was adorable, the service was fast, friendly and above and beyond. The cute cashier answered every question we had about even the simplest thing on the menu. And the food. The food was beyond what you would expect when you walk through the door. My dad got a slaw dog that came with chili, onions, and a bunch of other things on it. My mom got a hamburger all the way and french fries - She could only eat about half of it. My husband got a triple burger with french fries which he raved about. And I got the grilled chicken Philly with mozzarella cheese and grilled onions that was so delicious that i only wish that I'd ordered a second one just so I would've had more leftovers. The portions are perfect and a little on the larger side so we took leftovers home. You have the option with each meal for two sides. And you can either double up on fries or do like I did and get fries and a mini side salad. I would go here again and again. I've mentioned it to a few people that have also raved about this place as well. What a hidden gen and what a great place when you're in the area. You will not be disappointed!

So we traveled from NE Cola to Camden (actually passed the KFC in Lugoff on the way) and found out that the Lugoff KFC also has buffets! The Camden site was very nice. Clean, plenty of tables and a great assortment of food. They had crispy chicken, regular original chicken, chicken pot pie, fried squach, mash potatoes and gravy, livers and gizzards, greens, green beans, corn, black eye beans, mac n cheese, banana pudding, peach or apple cobbler and soft drinks...for about $14.29/person. Everything was very good with the only mentions about one of the guys thought the gizzards were overcooked and two complained about having no bananas in the banana pudding. (I think that may be a thing with buffets since bananas don't hold up very long if left out). Overall our rating was a respectable 8.75 on our ROMEO scale of 10...a 4 on the Yelp scale.

(I do not currently drive at this point in my life and depend on others to get around.) I have talked abut it with friends ad they both gave it rave reviews. So I was pretty surprised to come to Yelp and see this place is getting 2.9 stars out of five. This does not jive with conversations I have had with friends both in everyday life or on Facebook. Pretty much all of them sag the praises of La Fiesta. I do not consider myself a foodie. I am neither a connoisseur of food nor drink. I just like what I like and typically it is America South food. Steak and potatoes, BBQ, fried seafood and chicken. Especially chicken. But I also love a good taco salad and that is what I got when I went to La Fiesta. A very good taco salad. Very tasty and at a good price. My cell phone photo of it did not do it justice, so I kept it to myself. The taco shell was very crispy ad finished the salad off nicely. If I had one complaint about it, it could have been slightly bigger. I felt like I was still hungry when I was finished and I typically do not have a bog appetite.
