Terrible customer service. The girl answering the phone was so rude. I decided to order from somewhere else.

Where to start?! Well, the food was great, and the drinks were great, and the service was great,…read moreso... not much else to say! I'm just kidding, I always have more to say. ;) But, in fairness, it's a great little spot that's kind of tucked away about a block and a half off the main strip (College Blvd or whatever it's called). But, it's a hidden gem worth searching for! We were made aware of this place thanks to the kind woman working at our hotel. We were in town for a game at Lambeau, and we heard that there was a shuttle from Rookie's to the field, which we definitely wanted to make use of! (That's a whole other review, but let's just say, it was an experience I'll never forget, and one I would repeat in a heartbeat!) The crowd here was clearly Packers fans. But, in their defense, they didn't make us opposing team fans feel threatened or not welcomed. Quite the opposite! Once they realized we were going to be respectful of their place and their folks, they welcomed us! The food really is good, especially for the money. It's one of those rare inexpensive places left in this country, where a pretzel appetizer easily feeds a family of four! LOL! I wish there weren't just two of us, because we also ordered boneless wings and cheese curds! Everything was hot and fresh, and it all tasted great. The drinks were large, inexpensive, and cold. No complaints at all. The service was also really wonderful, with friendly staff and very efficient servers. Like I said, nobody gave us a lot of grief for being from out of town. But, we could tell right away, this was a "local spot" and for a very good reason. Locals and regulars definitely make up the customer base, but they keep coming back for all the other reasons provided: good food, good drinks, and very reasonable prices. Example: I offered to buy a beverage for a very nice person who was incredibly helpful to us, specifically in arranging our spots on the shuttle bus. She was drinking a rail Old Fashioned. You know what that cost me? $3.50. That's not a South Park reference. That was what I paid for a rail cocktail! Anyway... if I'm ever in Appleton again, I'm stopping by. This really is a diamond in the rough, and one well worth your time in searching for.

I wasn't sure what to expect given the reviews on here. I managed a wing place for 9 years, so I…read morelove wings and know a little about them. Pros: Good size wings, hard to find wings that aren't tiny. Ordered 8 flats with Bleu cheese and celery sticks, drink, l with Louisiana dry rub. Great flavor, just not as hot as I expected. Service was friendly and polite, order at the counter duty down and they bring them out. Nice amount of celery and decent blue cheese. Cons: one roll of paper towels by the pop machine for the whole place. Odd they don't have more or serve with napkins. No wet naps for fingers that I saw or was given. Cost controls I suppose, but both of these are not great customer service. I was charged $1.60 for something, not sure what. Hopefully it was for the extra "meal" size. Price. Pretty high up there - my whole bill was almost $16.00 for 8 wings. Probably due to all the rising costs. Very hard to get to from the freeway, as you can't turn in from the road you're on, you have to turn at the corner, go into r gas station and through to the restaurant. Overall, I will definitely go back, I like BWR but the volume is crazy.

One of their coworkers proceeded to come out into the lobby to check, while infront of us btw. Tried both the root beer and the Dr Pepper and said they were fine while making a face and dumping them out. We went up to the worker after we got our food and explained that it was out, and he tried to say that they were perfectly fine and that that's what their "supposed to taste like". The worker at the front counter was very nice and gave us free brownies for the wait as well.

It had that required snap indicating a perfect cook. Good for them going with the brand name dog. The relish, tomatoes that looked and tasted fresh were wonderful/ The sport peppers were of the level that took me back to a dog shop on McKinley in Chicago. Highly Recommended. The gyro was pretty good. Both times, I failed to ask for the garlic sauce on the side and it was delightfully smothered in sauce. Hawrd to eat by picking up, but very delicious. The Falfel was a surprise but I nice know to the Arab-Americans who settled in the area. It was Falfel Green. The young lady who was taking my ordered whwn I asked her it if was Falfel Red or Green, she didn't have a clue but called the chef over. He responded quickly and was friendly. It was delicious, even provoking my roommate to respond.

The fries are salty, the buffalo chicken wrap was thick- did not need a side - and I liked that I could put vanilla flavor in my Diet Pepsi. The staff was nice, there were a few booths and a few tables. Easy lunch place.
