This place was definitely a disappointment. Pizza was not bad but I 100% would not venture beyond that on the menu. We walked in around 8 pm and the waitress looked so annoyed with us the whole time we were in there! I kept trying to get the waitress to crack a smile and I think I got a tiny one halfway through. I haven't been here for a while so wanted to give them another try. The service here is terrible. The waitress is rude and don't give a damn about you or your meal. The food was ok at best. I grew up in Brooklyn in an Italian neighborhood and know what good Italian food is and this is NOT. Got the linguine with white clam sauce, it was just pasta with a scoop of clam meat from a can which should be ok but it was tasteless. The so called garlic roll that they are "so famous" was just stale rolls that they brushed butter over and sprinkled garlic over, it was barely warm. Was really excited by the name thinking I found a great mom and pap restaurant. Sorely disappointed. Called in a take out order when arrived home the ravioli had the wrong filling, the sauce was nothing more than caned tomato sauce with no herbs. The ravioli was straight off the frozen cisco truck. By a bag of frozen ravioli from wal mart for 4 bucks and a can of hunts sauce for a dollar and you will enjoy it more. read more

Visited Papa Giuseppe's Saturday afternoon for lunch. The lunch specials were priced well. My wife had the eggplant with pasta and I had the lasagna. Just as we were served our food, I was about to dig in when a live cockroach ran across the table almost across my husbands hand, which he moved rather quickly. I stood up, grabbed my purse walking quickly to the cashier while the server was walking to my husband. He told her what happened, she offered to move us to another table, which he declined. For the lunch special it's 6.95 for pasta and broccoli which is a garlic white sauce, I wanted Alfredo sauce the waitress told me 4.95 to make it Alfredo, when for $2 more I can Alfredo with chicken??? I just wanted pasta with Alfredo sauce and broccoli. My friend has ulcers and can't eat a lot of stuff with acid and he wanted the white ala vodka sauce and they told him 6.95 to substitute the sauces!!!! The crazy when the lunch special itself costs 6.95!!! The waitress is slow and not very social. Being a server myself I know customer interactions are what keeps people coming as well as great food. Well I know I won't be coming back to this place! The rest of the staff doesn't seem so friendly or welcoming either!!! There is a lot to like about Papa Giuseppe's, and few things which can be improved upon. The prices are fair, the Marinara sauce is good. The service is prompt. A selection of wines would add to the experience, the radio commercials blasting were annoying. Maybe a little pandora with some Dean Martin would be nice. Ordered baked ziti and garlic knots to go-was told 20 minutes until it was ready. Cute little place tucked into a dingy strip mall-but owner seems to be legit Italian. This is the most amazing Pizzeria. Not only is the food outrageous, but the staff is so lovely and authentic. I love that it is family owned and operated even though I have to drive all the way here to get this amazing pizza! It is worth the drive!
