Food and service was above average. Very very noisy. So loud you'll have to yell at people sitting right next to you.

We visited this restaurant at the suggestion from a local. Great food, drinks and service! We chose the patio which had a little 3 piece band playing classic rock. They were great and not too loud! I usually judge a cajun restaurant by it's gumbo and theirs definitely measured up!! Was out running errands and thought about Papa Dubi's. It was 2:30 and I was thinking about dinner. I ordered grilled salmon with the shrimp and crap imperial sauce and the grilled tilapia with the crawfish sauce. It came with rice and salads and I added a banana pudding. I was greeted promptly and she immediately took my order. I had already reviewed the menu on line. I was told it would be about 15 minutes and there were a few chairs up front that I could sit at. I didn't time it but I think it was just a tad quicker. When I got home I took the croutons off the salad so they would not get soggy and put everything in the refrigerator. When it came time to eat I realized they had not included the salad dressing I had asked for and although it didn't matter, no utensils or napkins. Luckily we had some salad dressing. I warmed up each dish for 4 minutes on 1/2 power and it reheated very well. If I do this again I will get the same sauce on both and buy additional sauce to add when reheating. The sauce makes the dish. I would actually considered buying extra crawfish sauce to use on pasta. It's pretty darn tasty. The banana pudding was light and not crazy sweet and one was just enough to share. read more

Always a great place to visit at least once a week. Everything on the menu is delicious, but I love the po' boys and the rib-eye. Also, don't forget about an appetizer...all are delicious, as well. The only reason not 5 stars...service could be a littler quicker and more attentive. However...this is a great jewel to eat at in Albertville / Guntersville area!!! Enjoy!!! read more

Ok guys, I don't usually give a five star rating unless they deserve it and these guys did a bang up job at my last visit. I've been here a few times but this time it was special! I decided to get way more than I could eat so I could try a variety of dishes. Got the crab cakes, jambalaya, red beans n rice, crawfish sauce over rice and the ribeye steak dinner with broccoli and Cajun rice as my main course. The standout for me was the crawfish sauce over rice which I would argue is more of an etouffee but holy lord it's was insanely good! Steak was cooked to perfection and the crab cakes were very well cooked and very tasty! The other items were on point as well and I usually don't go for jambalaya but if that's ur thing this one is great. Everything was cooked right and the staff were very polite and on time with everything. My server even suggested a desert which I didn't go for but I appreciate her asking. There's limited options for seafood on the mtn but u can't go wrong with papa dubi's! I'm going back on the next day there open to get more of that crawfish over rice dish.. it's just that good imo. The only thing I would suggest is they do a ribeye meal topped with the crawfish sauce n rice. Again, you can't go wrong here.. I had a GREAT meal and experience and I'm sure you will to! read more

Good local place. The fried mushrooms are fantastic, we get them every time we go. The poboy bread is surprisingly good this far from New Orleans. The blackened fish is one of my favorites. They do a creole jambalaya vs a Cajun, but it's still good. read more

Went to the new location on a Friday night around 5:15PM, the parking lot was packed, had to park on the side of the road and then wait almost an hour to be seated. That was the only issue, but well worth the wait. Once seated the service was great and the food was outstanding. Don't be upset about the wait because the experience is worth the sacrifice. read more

So our entrees were really good but the appetizer and the service was horrible. Our server Alyssa was very hard to get her attention, kept not bringing us things that we ordered, asked for or that she offered to bring, and was very rude. We had some issues with our appetizer not being good but we were still charged $20 for something all of us tried to eat (and that all of us normally like) but could not eat. When we asked if there was any way to have it taken off (since only 4 got eaten with us trying them but they were so bad we couldn't eat them) she was very rude and said "must just be an acquired taste" and I REPEAT we ALL eat these all of the time other places. Honestly won't be back for a long time if at all and if I do I will not sit with her!! read more

Very enjoyable experience. I had the bam-bam shrimp and 1/2 of a crawfish poboy. The shrimp were excellent. The 1/2 poboy was still huge and very good. My wife had the shrimp Basket and enjoyed it.
