How am I comparing BBQ in Utica to these locations where meals can reach upwards of $400 for 2 you may ask? The food is so unique. Typically when I get BBQ - no matter how good it is- I reach for the sauce. Even though it's on the table, it's not needed here. Each dish is so unique. The owner/chef personally comes out and describes what he put into each dish, from the ribs with peanut brittle on top (I'm sure I'm missing many descriptors) to the Elote Corn. Each dish that came out made mine and my wife's mouth water. It's that good. Cost for the four course dinner is fair for the amount of food, quality and service. If you are anywhere near Utica, you need to try this place. You won't be disappointed ... until you go back to a typical BBQ restaurant.
