The furniture company has yet to resolve this issue. They don't want to pay for the damages their movers did. I went and had a professional furniture repair company provide a quote, and the damages total $1,000. Looks like I will have to take them to court to get it resolved since the company doesn't want to take responsibility for their careless handling of my furniture. The owner knows his guys damaged the furniture as he makes mention of the fact that his guys mentioned they may have scuffed my furniture in an email correspondence. If I could give 0 stars I would. I hired PuroClean after the Eaton Fire in CA, and while the cleaning itself was acceptable, some…read moreproperty was damaged and the experience with the Central Houston office who handled coordination and communication -- has been extremely disappointing. Items were removed from our home without notice, I had to hound them for updates once a week even though daily updates were promised in the job quote. Prior to payment, responses were fairly prompt, usually within 24 hrs -- after payment, the rep (Jacob Darden) stopped responding to my emails except to argue about why I shouldn't receive a refund for a 2 month late hygiene report that came back showing soot still in the house. I called Jacob to explain why a refund was warranted and received a verbal confirmation that a refund would happen. This was followed by continuing to ignore all emails over the course of 2 months of attempting to get a response. This kind of customer service is unacceptable. I would advise anyone to avoid working with PuroClean.
