What a great place to stay in Roma. Centrally located, this guest house was conveniently located in the heart of the city. Easy to walk to Gesu Church, the Pantheon or Piazza Navona. A grocery store is across the street. The room literally overlooked Largo di Torre Argentina, the site where Julius Caesar was assassinated.
Interesting to see three different guest houses in the same building. Make sure to climb the marble staircase or take the old fashioned lift to floor 2. The lift is so cute with double wooden doors and brass buttons to reach each floor. Make sure to close all three doors or the lift cannot operate.
The rooms are each so unique. The corner room that we stayed in had a double balcony that wrapped around the corner, high ceilings and a red, round circular bed. Loved being able to sit on the balcony and enjoy breakfast or stand outside as the sun set reflecting on another beautiful day in Roma.
The in room coffee and tea bar was so cute. The swivel table held cups for cappuccino or tea and glasses for juice or water.
Breakfast was served on a silver tray. Mark your choices of fruits, croissants, toast, jelly, Nutella, cappuccino, espresso and tea to customize your daily breakfast selection. Thanks for the snack bag for an early morning flight.
The shower was also so unique. Shift the dial for a rain fall, three jets, or a hand held. There was also a waterproof radio on the control panel. The bathroom had a separate toilet and bidet.
Thanks for the hospitality including assistance with the luggage. There are steps in the rooms and the lobby. Very charming hotel in a historic location in Roma. read more
