I stopped by here for a quick bite while waiting for a flight. Panopolis is located a short walk from the duty-free shopping area. There are also some cafés and restaurants nearby serving Italian food, all-day breakfast, and more stereotypically British and Scottish food (including fish & chips and haggis). There was both eat-in and takeaway at Panopolis, with plenty of seating and outlets.
I ordered the Original meat kebab for £6.95. It had a generous amount of meat and veggie filling and was quite spicy for my taste (but I have a bland palate). I enjoyed my kebab and found it to be pretty filling. It was also ready about 5 minutes after I ordered, so it's a good place to stop by if you haven't got that much time before your flight.
If you dine in, they give you a buzzer to alert you when your food is ready for pick-up. There were bottled drinks, both alcoholic and not, for sale in the takeaway area. There's also a vegetarian kebab option. Both employees I interacted with were polite and friendly. I was able to pay with my American bank card without any issues.
If you're in the mood for something tasty and filling while you're waiting for your flight, this is a good choice. The kebab isn't amazing, but it'll do the job. The price was a bit high for the size in my opinion, but I wasn't too surprised since it's in the airport. read more
