During our visit, the restaurant was frequently closed during our breakfast time (before sightseeing). But finally, it was open one morning as we were heading out and we popped in. We were surprised to see American Southern-style chicken and waffles on the menu, and we both ordered it. It was fantastic! So much so that I asked to speak to the chef. I wanted to thank him and find out how he learned how to cook this dish. Well, it turns out he's from South Carolina (if I remember correctly, it might've been another southern state).
