In my experience, most of the food they serve at Panera is pretty good; I enjoy trying the different salads they offer and have liked most of the ones I've tried. However, while the food generally tastes good, the prices seem to have been steadily rising while the portion sizes seem to be shrinking... I bought the Turkey Chili for dinner and took it home to eat. I found that the portion size was so small that it didn't fill me up; it barely sufficed as an appetizer! I ended up improvising the rest of my dinner by digging through my fridge for more food :-( So in terms of value, Panera has definitely been declining. Went in for a Souffle - won't be ordering one of those again - what a waste of $7.00. I wasn't even sure if they gave me the Spinach & Bacon as I had ordered or if it was the Four Cheese- it was served cold but since it should have been served warm so I asked for them to heat it up then it became a yucky, chewy, too hot for your mouth mess. I have had a Greek Yogurt Parfait there and can attest it was excellent- so stick with that. read more

I cannot recall a 'bad' meal at Panera but this location seems to have a track record of bad customer service. With that being said, I ordered delivery. I chose the You Pick Two: chicken teriyaki rice bowl and the chipotle chicken and bacon flatbread with a strawberry lemonade mint charged lemonade for my beverage. The warm rice bowl was hands down the best dish I've had from Panera, ever. I am definitely a fan. The flatbread was tasty per usual. Just no. Panera has raised the prices far too high for what they are providing. I can't order breakfast because I always end up late due to it not being ready. They mess up the orders when I do get food from here, wrong toppings and flat out missing items from an order. Even when I call they offered another meal and got that order wrong too! How is it that every time I order from this location it's always missing items, and always the wrong size. the receipt clearly says a broccoli cheddar soup with a bread bowl. not only did they send a smaller size of soup but they were missing the entire bread bowl. the first time it happened, my reaction was "oh it's fine, accidents happen" but now for it to happen again is getting ridiculous. We tried the ciabatta dipper and I was very disappointed. There wasn't enough beef on the sandwich and the 4 ounces of French onion soup that they give you for dipping is not big enough if you buy a whole sandwich. I have been to many Panera locations, but the service at this location was lacking. Staff was nowhere to be found at the front. It was a good thing we were still deciding on what to order so it wasn't such a big deal waiting a few minutes to be helped. I saw the new grain bowls and was excited to try them. I decided on the Mediterranean chicken bowl. It was pretty basic. It has a scoop of hummus and the bread goes delicious with it. Next time I'll try the Baja bowl! Hopefully it has more flavor than the Mediterranean. Mac and cheese is ALWAYS delicious from Panera. It's a must have! It is such a comfort food for me. Yum! read more

This place doesn't deserve a 2 * rating; that's preposterous. I think the culture of west palm beach has a lot to do with that, though - the people probably expect world class everything, kinda like how things are at Worth Avenue. Customer service was great, and food was great. Id like to point out that one of the team members here demonstrated such "world class" customer service (and trust me on that, I've gone through training and was required to do so as part of my job at a grocery store that I used to work at). She made sure my meal had the right components in it as I requested at the register, and was nice to enough to get me a to-go plastic container upon my request. Additionally, this Panera was actually fairly clean in comparison to others I have seen, which was another good thing as well. Overall, good experience. The one thing I will critique is that it seems Panera locations have inconsistencies when it comes to price on things. For example, if you request a water, typically they'll give you a 16oz (regular) cup at no charge. In this case, I was charged. Not saying that's wrong, I'm just saying let's keep things consistent across all locations (easier said then done, I know, given the amount of Paneras there actually are). read more

The cobb salad with "supposedly" chicken, bacon and avocado was non existent. It cost me $13.90 for a bowl of romaine lettuce and a few tomatoes. The dressing on the side would not have satisfied a toddler since the potion was so small. The shredded chicken (photo on their website is grilled chicken slices) resembled tuna fish in consistency and there were 3 small chunks of avocado. No bacon anywhere! 1 hard boiled egg. Without a doubt, THE WORST PANERA I have ever been to. Take a look at my reviews, and you'll see I rarely give a bad review. This one was 100% warranted though. We spent the week in WPB and decided to grab Panera as we headed to the airport. We arrived around 9:50am. The girl working the register was on her phone as we walked in and seemed annoyed to have to be there. My daughter ordered a quiche and some coffee. The girl told her they don't serve quiche after 10 (it was not 10 yet!) and that they were out of coffee. I didn't hear this part of the conversation until we were seated at the table, or I would have intervened & asked for a manager. So instead she ordered a smoothie and a muffin. Her friend ordered a smoothie and bagel. I had a grilled cheese & soda. My grilled cheese was ready fairly quickly. In fact, I was practically done eating by the time the smoothies, bagel and muffin came out. Literally, no one working there seemed to give a hoot about anything. It actually seemed like they were stoned or on downers of some sort. If you live in the area, find another Panera. This one is pathetic. read more

It's been a hot minute since being to any Panera location. This was my only option for something with coffee & bites + WiFi to get my study on during my mini vacation in the West Palm of the sunshine state. Despite the reviews posted about this location, I had good service, decent iced coffee and a bagel & banana for a reasonable price. Not to mention that I was able to study in peace and be productive. I love the Panera brand. I appreciate the fact that Panera offers healthy options. I also get being short-staffed these days. I'm an employer and I'm having issues with labor shortages too. However, today is the last time I will patronize this particular location because it's the third time I've run into the same issue which is this; I arrive, I log in and order at the kiosk then spend 25-30 minutes watching people who arrived 15 and 20 minutes behind get their food while I wait. The first time it happened I figured it was a one-off, no one of us is perfect right? The second time I ended up leaving after half an hour without food because I was about to miss an appointment (I had ordered soup)(soup)(really? Soup can't be whipped out in less than half an hour?) Today I sat at the counter for nearly half an hour waiting for my order, watching a bunch of people who had come before me finishing their meals berating myself because really, this has happened twice and I continue to return so really who's to blame here? I FINALLY got my food and left without checking my order because I was a) super hungry at this point and b) so irritated that if I said anything at all it wasn't going to be particularly kind. I should have checked my order. I was given corn chowder instead of French onion soup so my husband couldn't even eat it because of a food allergy. Not getting the right soup really didn't matter anyway since there were no spoons in the bag, just a single fork and knife (someone's going to have to eat with their hands) and I was shorted a fruit cup that I had paid for. I hate that I even have to put a star on this review. I come to this Panera often and the wait for my food is at least 20 minutes long. The one in Gardens is a 5 minute wait and boom there is your delicious meal. The Panera on village is closest to my home. I also had a few issues with the manager who is a girl, with a very obnoxiously loud voice. I was going there consistently for their Indo Costa Rican Iced coffee and asked if they sell it by the gallon. She said "We normally don't do that." - but still sold me a gallon for like $7. .... The attitude was unnecessary . On another note, today I was under the weather and decided to stop by and get my favorite chicken and wild rice soup. I couldn't wait to get home to eat it! Once i got home and popped the lid I see a long strand of hair pierced through a piece of celery in my soup. Disgusting. Waste of time. Money. I will not be coming back to this location. There is also a woman that works there that gives out free meals to beggars that come around and now that's where they lounge. Kind of odd and definitely takes away from the atmosphere that Panera has worked so hard to build. Not happy.... and I was a loyal customer. I kept giving chances, and still they let me down. they need to pull their hair up when preparing food, THESE ARE THE FUNDAMENTALS OF WORKING IN A RESTAURANT especially with this pandemic going on. I went for lunch today, and waited 30 minutes for a grilled cheese and bowl of soup. I was patient for 25 minutes, but then asked for my $$ back. They had two employees making the food, who moved so slow. So the manager comes over to help, and I was like is my order going to be ready soon b/c it has been 20 minutes. Apparently they didn't even see my order on the screen. So then I waited another 10 minutes and then got pissed and left. I remember when Panera Bread open their restaurants. Crusty . Yum!!!! Today total disappointment. The bread not only was not crunchy but the consistency appears like it was cooked yesterday and stored in a bag. I ordered the pick 2. The chicken soup was the bottom of the bowl bits and pieces and only 1/2 filled. I also ordered 1/2 grilled cheese. It was warmed but by the time I got it the cheese was congealed. By the grace of God, my running feet and in the knick of time, I managed to score my beloved oatmeal exactly on the 11 o'clock hour. It was my mental prize during an early long run this morning; therefore, I'm happy I was able reward myself as planned. I've dined and enjoyed take-out from this Panera location for over a decade. My experiences have been good; albeit, I REALLY miss the days when there was a sofa. There is a private room and plenty of seating; both inside and al fresco. The bagels and fresh breads are delicious and there are plenty of dessert options. Breakfast options include: baked goods, sandwiches and items such as steel cut oatmeal. The strawberry pecan one is #todiefor. Lunch and dinner options include: salads, soups, sandwiches and often seasonal items such as a flatbread or noodle bowl. Beverages include but aren't limited to: coffee, soda and smoothies. One can place an order online and pick-up or order in the restaurant for dining in or take-out. I've been enjoying Panera for over 20 years and was absolutely shocked at how poor the service and response time was at this Panera in West Palm Beach. We placed an order at the kiosk, and after 35 minutes asked the prep staff for a status update. They were clearly overwhelmed, with no manager in sight and one person doing the bulk of the work. I saw my salad sitting there, one of our sandwiches sat on the counter by the Panini machine without the top bread for over 15 minutes. Nobody seemed to have any clue whatsoever. I don't blame the primary prep person because she was valiantly trying to keep it together, but where the heck was the manager? he/she should be fired immediately. Worst Panera I have been to, the management staff is really rude, treat you like if you were not paying for your food. I ordered a pick two that included French onion soup, to go, no croutons or cheese on the half empty cup, when I asked for it they almost cut my head off, same thing with the cup, I joined the sip club from day one and this is the only store whey they make a fuzz about giving you the cup before your food comes out. Beware!!!! I ordered several drinks and bakery items today inside the store. The price rung up waa higher than the prices indicated on the board directly behind the cashier. On top of this, the large lattes were served in a 16 ounce cup in lieu of a 20 ounce cup as advertised on the wall menu, again directly behind the cashier. Upon indicating this to the cashier, she stated all large lattes are served in a 16 oz cup and proceeded to walked away. I told her to keep the whole order and kindly left. Customer service was great, employees were very nice! Wait time took only around 5-10 mins for 6 meals, unlike other restaurants that took over 15+. Every other month we use to use this restaurant to cater for our company meeting of 40 people. The website states to give them 2 hours for orders, which is reasonable. I placed an order this morning, and hours later they called me to tell me they were too busy to make our order. We have been doing this for almost 2 years. I told her we were willing to wait and push our meeting, but was told no they're not going to make it.
