Ate at this Panera yesterday. Overall, good experience. I had the "balsamic chicken and greens" with corn chowder soup. Both were quite tasty. Service was friendly and quick and the restaurant was clean and actively being picked-up as people left. Normally, this location is great. Order is usually correct and they help sub things if items are unavailable. But the last 2 visits, orders have been messed up. It took 30 minutes to get one order & everything was cold. Today they forgot my drink, then brought me a drink that wasn't even what I ordered after she had looked at my order. Then I get home to see that the chicken wasn't even in the bread... even though I paid extra to have extra chicken, it wasn't there. I saw her leaving to go on break or go home right after I got my order. So she was probably rushing to leave. But if you're going to do a job & get paid.. do it right at least. Came here for lunch today because any day that the temp is in the 60's in Texas, calls for soup! I love their bread bowl soups! Today I ordered French onion in a bread bowl and a half grilled Mac and cheese sandwich. I guess the girl at the counter didn't hear me say bread bowl, but it happens no big deal. I wasn't impressed with the grilled Mac and cheese sandwich. The Mac and cheese was lukewarm and the bread was soggy with a super hard crust so it was hard to eat but I loved my French onion soup as always! I went in on a recent Sunday and was not impressed with the selection of breads. Maybe 2-3 varieties. "Panera" implies bread, in addition to the word "bread" in their corporate name. There's a bigger selection of breads at 7-11. Also, there were several flies on the counter who had access to all the pastries displayed. Walked in at 8:30 when restaurant closes at 10PM The cashier was rude and one of the workers was putting up the chairs all around us "kicking us out" The vacuum was right by our table we had to move it to sit.. area wasn't closed... I cannot attest to the quality of the food as I left after waiting 20 minutes in the drive through only to pull out of line when I was next to order because they were taking so long! The kicker is, when I pulled around the car who was ordering there was no one in line in front of them. No car waiting at the window just a line wrapped around the building from the speaker. We went here on Saturday at 6:00 pm to get dinner to go. Then we drove to Ft. Worth for a concert in the garden. I got a pick two. I ordered a veggie sandwich and a cup of Mac n cheese. We returned to this location today after church. My wife and I both had the green goddess Cobb salad for the first time. It was very good. I will most definitely have this salad in the future. We returned here about a month later. There were 10 of us, all ages. We were a little later than usual and boy it was a different world. The food, service and cleanliness was as always great. When we arrived I got on line to order. I noticed the lady taking orders had no urgency about her. She was chatting it up with the customers and taking her time. The line behind me was to the doors. Hands down the worst service ever. They were out of bread so we purchased a loaf. Then they were out of that too. So when I questioned why I would pay $25 for two bowls of vegetable soup the manager Lindsey called me rude. She then went on a tantrum filled tirade. I just went and sat down then she verbally attacked my wife who is a stroke victim and has trouble speaking. My wife had not been involved in any of this. Been coming here a lot. But ill need to find an alternative. I really want to give this place more stars. So many of the young staff seem to be trying really hard, but often don't know what to do. They are very polite and nearly everything I've eaten is very good here. Its just the little things like getting told what you can't have with your meal... instead of "Yes Sir, we can do that but will need to charge extra. To which I would gladly say, "Yes please." Also a major pet peeve, Cold coffee! Or not fresh coffee or no coffee at all, even at peak times when you would think it would be most important. Lunch perhaps? It is a bakery after all. The soup was luke warm and the grilled cheese was ridiculously burned and it looked like they used half of a piece of cheese for 4 slices of bread. It was inedible to say the least. My mom and I went for our first time to Panera at the new location in weatherford on Saturday. It was obvious that we were first time customers and the elderly lady that took our order was no help at all and not friendly. We each had to repeat or order three times and we only had half salads and waters. I found out later that the menu stated that was should have been offered a choice of sides but was not. I would have liked to have had an apple instead of a hard piece of bread. My mom was given a full salad for which we were not charged. I'm sure you lost money on that one. I am a religious Panera customer and was so excited to find out they were opening one in Weatherford. I have always gotten great service and never an issue with a pick up order which I've probably placed a hundred of. However when I placed my second pick up order at this location I received a tube of kids yogurt instead of a parfait. I had to drive back from work, decided to go through the drive thru because the parking lot was full and it took FOREVER. I told them I just needed a parfait and instead of running it out to me they had me wait my turn in the drive thru which took over 10 minutes. Also I'm not looking for a handout or something free but a simple "I'm sorry about the inconvenience" would have been nice as I ended up taking a lot of time out of my work day over a mistake. read more

Always great!! The staff are so sweet and courteous. The first time I went was on opening day and ordered breakfast and the delicious latte! I received a certificate for a free pick 2 once a month for a year. The second time I went I ordered the pick 2 (coupon) with caprese sandwich and strawberry salad. My husband and I shared it and we both were salivating. The best sandwich I've had!! It was so worth breaking KetoDiet lol. The ingredients were fresh and everything you could hope for from the (very long awaited) Panera!! I'm a huge fan!! We wanted and actually looked into opening one at one point. I've always liked Panera bc of the organic chicken and many salads. And of course, the pastries. Since CoVid, we've been ordering online, curbside pickup and eating in the parking lot or a park. I wish there was a way to leave more stars for the food itself. Two stars are for the poor service. The first time I went through the drive through and the lady was extremely nice and helpful after I told her it was our first time there. We loved the food. Went inside the 2nd and 3rd time and the employees are SO unfriendly and unhelpful. If you ask for something they look at you like you shouldn't even be talking to them. It's such a strange vibe! They got our order wrong on the 3rd go and still give you this cold vibe like you are inconveniencing them for even being there. No smiles, no welcoming hellos, no thank you's or apologies (when they get it wrong), no nothin. I love the food and their healthy options so its a real shame. **Side note: I am always very understanding when places are busy and if they seem overwhelmed. But this is never the case here.
