I like panera, but don't love it. Even though I really want to since it's everywhere (including 1 block from my house), and since I LOVE sandwiches. That being said, their salads & sandwiches are boring. The place is in desperate need of a makeover. Thankfully, someone made over their breakfast sammies last year & now I adore all the yummy egg sammie combos, especially the latest one with spinach-- yum! Do love the new addition of iced coffee too, rather than my ghetto version of ordering coffee, filling cup w/ice, then filling up with hot coffee. The you pick two combos (I prefer the soup & sammie combo) are good meal options- just boring. Faves? The tomato basil soup & the chicken w/wild rice soup. The egg & cheese on bagel or roll sammie (and the new power one). The roast beef sammie & the one with fresh mozzarella. Panera is a good meal filler but nothin special. read more

Panera is Panera. Lots of pastries and decent selection of food. This location is usually packed at lunch time. Service is good-nothing different than any other Panera I've been to. Clean environment, good location. Can't really complain. read more

The restaurant is big, parking is easy (although I usually walk), and the people who work there are seriously so nice and helpful... From the friendly guy taking my order to the guys who smile when they take my tray (always at the appropriate time )... Seriously, other restaurants around here should take a lesson. I also really like that they have so many tables with nearby wall plugs. Its a great place to come and work or study. The food is just ok. Its what Ive come to expect from Panera, but sometimes the quality of ingredients leave something to be desired. I got the turkey BLT last time, and the avocado was rock hard, like crunchy apple hard. The bacon was gross, etc. so its hit or miss. The soup and bakery products are always good. read more

I went this morning as always for coffee, decided to get a bagel this morning and when I got to work it was burnt....I called to tell them they didn't really seem to care. CHECK YOUR BAGEL BEFORE YOU LEAVE. Why in the heck would you serve that? Money down the drain, (aka garbage), plus the cost of the cream cheese. ERRR!!! read more

It took them a minute to deliver the whole order into my custody, then again, lunch hour is horrible anywhere. They were super friendly and corrected my order asap. Who can resist the WIFI and ambiance. Good job with space for improvement on delivery. read more

Panera has great food in general that I always recommend. This specific location is fairly busy but not too busy. Lots of study groups and the parking lot is a bit full but still a great place to eat. read more

I used the yelp delivery feature when I was in a pinch and wasn't disappointed. I ordered broccoli cheddar soup and a turkey avocado BLT. The soup arrived hot and the sandwich cold so no complaints there. My only issue was the sandwich was so loaded with toppings that they kept falling out of the bread so I basically ate it with my soup spoon. The delivery was faster than the estimated time (got it in 30 minutes instead of 45) so that was a huge plus! read more

Wish I had something better to report. Paid over $6 for a 1/2 sandwich that was pitiful. One piece of meat wadded up in the middle of the bread and nothing else on those big oval plates. The manager was too busy working the line to give me the time of day. Not what I expect from Panera. read more

Very confusing menu for pick two pricing. Most places you go pick two means, pick two for one price, not pick two and pay the same price for each item. Then get charged the 1/2 item price on the two, anyway. Your pick two menu is very confusing and very miss leading. Even though I still got the wrong item. Three pick two's, two drinks, all for $40. I wanted Panera, and i was ecstatic to find out that they deliver. I filled it in as quick as possible and as accurate as i could in the special instructions section. They called me a few mins later to tell me that the salad i had ordered didn't exist on their menu anymore, but the man was pressuring me to choose something then and there as if i even had the menu pulled up in front of me. His english wasn't the best so he passed me over to someone else. The female i was speaking to repeated what he told me and gave me options that i could choose from and explained why they didn't have the salad. I asked her for a similar salad unless they came prepared which in that case i understand, so she told me she'd speak to the manager in order to modify a salad for me. In the midst of me waiting, someone else picked up the phone and told me the same thing and his english wasn't the best either so he sounded just as aggressive as the first guy. I asked him to put the female i was talking to because she was resolving it for me and i didn't need a third person reminding me that the salad i wanted i couldn't receive. So she gets back on the phone and comes off super nasty this time. I told her the salad i wanted and she started saying things like "i'm not a mind reader" i asked if i could have the dressing on the side and she says "all take out orders have the dressing on the side" and when i asked for lemon on the side she said "we'll see" ; very bad attitude all of a sudden. don't know where our conversation went wrong. The delivery quickly came and they didn't even come all the way up , i met the man in the lobby but i tipped prior which is disappointing... but oh well, doesn't make or break me. The salad ended up coming with NO dressing whatsoever, and the mac and cheese i ordered was super cold and the noodles were hard. I called them immediately and Anais answered. She suggested picking it up at Panera and i explained that i was at the hotel i was staying in for business purposes and had no way of getting there. She suggested sending me a voucher that would come in a few weeks to my house. I told her i was about to start work in an hr or two that i needed to eat something then, and a voucher wouldn't really be helping me. So then she just suggested a refund which was ok but i still didn't have anything to eat and especially that Panera isn't cheap. Customer service here is so bad and i didn't even eat at the restaurant. please do better. read more

I used to love panera on Howard but things slowly changed one day I burned my entire hand and foot and ruined my shoes bc I split soup the nice lady at the register said I can have new one but than said after the fact said no the manager won't let you. Here I am in pain and the rude people won't give me a refill on my soup that I didn't touch and they said they would. I am very mad and will never come back here again. I would much rather visit a farther panera than spend one more dollar on this terrible place that doesn't care about people and their feelings or their well-being. read more

The food is fine... It's fast food; however, I strongly recommend NOT ordering online, especially delivery. I paid extra to add chicken to a salad, no chicken. And how does a place called Panera BREAD, forget to include the BREAD? It's one thing to mess up an order when you are in a restaurant, it's totally another when it's take out/delivery. Panera is a great stable chain with fantastic breakfast items, yummy sandwiches and soups. I have had great experience in the past ordering catering for my office and the employees have always been super helpful getting everything to my car. Panera also has a rewards card that loads special offers once you hit a certain amount spent. On my last visit to Panera I wanted to try one of their new soups. When I asked the girl behind the counter what was in and she said she didn't know and then proceeded to laugh and walk away from the register. I was rather annoyed and I'm sure gave her 'stank face'. I was hoping she was going to come back to the register with details about the soup but she didn't and I choose another option. Yeah this was annoying... but it is a chain and I'm sure this was the employee's first job ever. Thankfully the food is consistently good and I know I will still continue to frequent this location. read more

Love panera bread but this location is going down hill fast! This is the most convenient location between work/home and I have been going for years. In recent months the service has taken a nose dive. Employees standing around while the line for a single register grows even during off peak times. The new managers look like they would rather stab you with a fork then help you. No one looks even mildly happy to be there. Thankfully the food is still good but the it's a service industry....don't be afraid to smile or try to be helpful. read more

Usually this place is great but last night they were very skimpy with the extra orders of meat that I paid for. My girlfriend and I then went up and asked for more chicken for our salads that we paid for, and they gave us barely anything. Absolute worst location I've ever been to. Since it's close to my house I've tried to give it a few chances, however they cannot seem to get it together. No attention to detail when it comes to preparing orders and things are wrong 90% of the time. Food is also never the proper temperature. Don't bother doing a rapid carry out order bc when you get home you'll be missing part of your order every time. Wish they would get a manager that cared to make this place better. read more

I've always had a good experience here but I went today and the cashier had a nasty attitude. He didn't give me a buzzer so I thought he was new and he didn't get it. His name was "Nicholas" and when I got to my seat i realized that I did not receive my pastries that I paid for. I went back to get them and he was gone. Good place, bad services. read more
