Panera Bread offers a cozy, casual atmosphere perfect for quick lunches or relaxed coffee breaks. Their menu strikes a nice balance between comfort and health,I got the Broccoli Cheddar Soup and the Green Goddess Cobb Salad. WHOOW this breakfast sandwich is DEFINITELY better than McDonalds! I got the Asiago bagel Sandwich with egg whites and no meat. My mom got an avocado sandwich. Sloppy lol but good. Weird that you have to present you ID at instant pick up after the fact that we already paid, but can never be too careful of people snatching free food. There is no drive through which I couldn't guessed. Great food and nice people. read more

Finally got the Chipotle Chicken Avo Melt correct after 3 trips. Very tasty. What did I learn, check your sandwich before leaving.

This Panera location always seems busy and a bit out of order. The dining area tables are wobbly and are typically occupied by teens and tutors. The staff seems to get along well as they have personal conversations and giggles as they work to fulfill the orders. Glad to see them smiling rather than drudge through their day. This location could earn more stars if they repaired things and swept up a bit more often. The location has a steady flow of customers which might account for the messy floors and tables. The food is consistently good and fairly priced. read more

AWFUL FOOD and service.I placed a mobile order for this location I showed up a little early so I could ask if I could replace my sons yogurt with a baguette piece I waited for a second the lady brought out my food and when I told her what I wanted she said okay just go ask over there which was where they were serving out their food. I walked over to ask the gentleman for the baguette he looked at me befuddled I told him that again that the lady up front told me to get the bread from here he goes oh no it's a dollar now.... I'm explained AGAIN the situation that it's for my sons meal I talked to the lady he goes I know but it's a dollar for bread now....I gave up and sat down with our food. The flat bread I order was a rubbery dry piece of cardboard with toppings on it, the chicken was fatty and whoever cut it didn't do a very good job. I ended up throwing it out after trying to make do but it was so upsetting, the salad was fine but the egg had such a funky smell I gave up on that too. my sons kids meal was fine the only thing we actually enjoyed was the cinnamon roll but the visit overall was disappointing read more

Maddy gave the worst service ever. Her eye roll at customer for want to change his order was very unwelcome and rude.

I come here sometimes on the way home from the gym and I typically get the same thing... Chicken Noodle soup in a bread bowl. I love the bread bowl. Not healthy but I don't care! It's so good! Now, my last visit was sad...they ran out of bread bowls. Uhhhh WHAT?!?! :( That's ok, they made it ok by adding a couple extra pieces of french bread in the bag. :) That made my night! I have been here plenty of times. For coffee and somethings sweet, a bagel, a salad but you can get those things practically anywhere. Typically I'm getting the soup in a bread bowl!! read more

Panera is my first option for lunch. Everything is freshly made. I love their paninis & soups. They have a very good check in system where in you enter inside & on computer you enter your name. Then server will call you at the counter. You place your order & you will be given a token. When that token blinks it means your order is ready. You can collect your order at the counter. Food came out good. My panini was great. Freshly made with fresh ingredients. And the tomato basil soup was very flavorful. For water or soda they have a machine you can go take it yourselves. They have lot of dessert options as you can see in the picture. I didn't try any of that but I have heard good things about their croissants. Will try next time. Restrooms are clean. Service was great. Food was good. They have lot of food options apart from paninis! Ambience was peaceful. read more

I had to stop for coffee on the way back home to Orlando, so this was the closest Panera. I had to circle around to find it, but I eventually found it on the corner. I redeemed my free reward and the cashier didn't ask me what I wanted, so she rang me up and proceeded to hand me a cup for self-serve, but I said I wanted an iced coffee with whipped cream and cinnamon, which I can't make self-serve. The girl who made my drink presented it like Vanna White. :) read more

My wife and I walked into the restaurant at 10:28, waited for someone to take our order with only one person ahead of us and four people behind the register. Finally when someone helped us I ordered a breakfast sandwich and the woman yells out to her manager, "is breakfast over!" Knowing we were there before 10:30. The manager yells "yes, it's over at 10:30" it was 10:30 on the nose. Apparently customer service and common courtesy is not a thing at this store. The older lady behind the counter seemed to enjoy the fact it was exactly 10:30 on the nose, and we were told no. We won't be returning to this establishment again. read more

What happened to Panera? They have upped their game. What a noticeable improvement to their menu, ingredients, customer service, and dining areas. No more preservatives and an improved, healthier menu can be found at Panera. My favorite is the Mediterranean chicken salad with kale and sun-dried tomatoes. It's full of tasty and fresh ingredients with a light dressing. Their broccoli cheddar soup is another favorite of mine. Not so healthy but the macaroni and cheese is worth indulging in with those soft shells in a bath of creamy white cheese. Kids meals come with apple, yogurt or chips. Avoid the grilled cheese. It's spongy and weird. Staff come along constantly cleaning the dining room and if you visit often enough, they will begin to greet you by name as you enter. Nice job, Panera. read more

Another morning at Panera. And no hot water again! The cashier can't catch up when you give her more then one item to order in a row and don't stop. Or maybe it is too early for her? Whatever it is , it was frustrating. Reason I lowered my stars because again no hot water. So I guess management doesn't read these reviews. I'll continue coming and updating this panera bread location. read more

I wasn't feeling well so my fiancé ordered chicken noodle soup and had it delete delivered. The chicken soup was so salty it was honestly inedible but I didn't have the heart to tell my fiancé who ordered for me while he was out of town knowing I was sick. so pretty disappointed, and the same Panera soup at Publix is so much better . Do yourselves a favor please lay off the salt I know it probably cost him $20 for delivery of a tiny portion and I couldn't even eat it. read more

Autumn Squash soup is our go to meal when it is available. I also like the Steel Cut oatmeal when we are there for breakfast.

I always try to be realistic about my expectations when thinking about restaurant service. I don't expect the same out of a Taco Bell or Applebees as I would expect from a Charlie's or a Ruth's Chris. But, damn, Panera, let's get it together. Made my order and paid no issues.... Uh, hold on just a minute there buddy, you're not getting out of this that easy. The cashier drops the change everywhere. I mean everywhere. She even got some of it in the childhood hunger donation box posted at the cash register next to her. Then she took and interesting approach using empathy Instead of apology. She looked at me concerned and told me "it's ok" and that it's ok to take my time picking it up. I sit down and the buzzer goes off which brings me to the counter for pickup. My order of one bowl of chicken noodle soup was deemed far too meager by the staff behind the line so they decided to upgrade me to Broccoli Cheddar and some other items of unknown origin. When I asked to it to be corrected, I was given only a look and no words. She must have been so distracted by the outrage she had for my lack of gratitude for her upgrade that she shorted my new soup by at least a half portion. I noted it and that was met with the same silent glance. It's the quiet ones you have to be careful about. Ok, it's just Panera, right? Maybe they have just emerged from a brutal Tuesday lunch battle and I'm just the guy who shows up to bayonet the wounded. Have a heart guy, you don't know what it's like to serve that many bread bowls. So, I leave my disappointment in the basket along with my buzzer. I'll simply eat my half portion of soup and get some work done. Nope. I fire up the laptop and spend the next 25 minutes trying to connect to the WiFi. Each time using up time and battery life to be redirected to the franchisee's web page only to drop connection when I attempt to move on to what I need to do. So here I sit, writing a passive aggressive Yelp review using the WiFi from the Great Clips next door. Panera, at this point you have been beat in the service game by a franchise solely focused on providing the hair cuts my Mom used to give me when I was four. I hope things get better for you. We all have bad days. I like soup and sometimes you're a solid second or third choice. read more

I get food delivered from them at my work sometimes. The first time, I paid for an iced tea with my meal but they forgot it and never refunded me for it. Having trouble getting local Panera (tampa) to deliver a sealed up bag versus this.... See image. They blame it on door dash. But if they would oh so easily stapled their bags like others do for delivery . Simple fix. Verses a non adhesive tape (arrives fully open). Not safe. Unsanitary. read more

What makes it the best Panera all around though is your staff. Mimi, the manager especially. The positive and happy shines through. This review is simply for the customer service I experienced today at Panera on S Howard. I popped while my husband was next door getting a haircut. I was pushing our 5 month old in a stroller and when I went to pay i stuttered over my words with ridiculous brain fog probably from the lack of sleep from being a new parent with a teething baby. Lydia was so incredibly kind to me and on my way out before I left she asked how I was. Genuinely. I cannot say how much that made my week. It's really hard to have a baby, ever, but this past year having a baby for the first time in quarantine with no help has been brutal. Her simple kind inquiry made me feel seen. Thank you Lydia , and sorry if I spelled that incorrectly. Panera please treat her well! She's hospitality to a T. read more

They close at 4 because of staffing issues which is because they won't pay enough and they do not make enough bagels for people who order in the afternoon for the next day. This morning I tried Panera's new Rapid Pickup online ordering option. It's super simple and easy to navigate from your phone, tablet or computer. There is even an app that you can download to help with ease of ordering. You can link your MyPanera rewards card by signing in with your phone number/username and password so you get credit for your order. I was able to select the store and was shown menu items that were offered there. Next, I was able to select each menu item and customize it to my liking, omitting or able to add-on items, if they aren't vegetables there is usually a nominal charge of $1 for extra meat or egg whites or $.50 for select kinds of cheese, all of which the extra charges are specified on the itemized ingredient list. I really liked this aspect and was able to remove cheese or get light cheese on food items that were ordered as well as load them up with vegetables or comparable spreads (if you wanted to substitute something else on there). You can use a credit card payment, redeem a MyPanera rewards, enter a promo code, or use a gift card for payment-so easy! Upon arriving my Rapid Pickup order was ready and on a shelf to the left of the front of the store with my receipt taped on the outside of the bag. Quick and easy, I was able to grab it and go. Rapid Pickup is aptly named and I appreciate the ease of ordering. Thanks Panera for coming up with an easy and efficient method to get food fast. read more

Honestly you're are only open until 2 PM adjust your time and your hours accordingly so you don't waste peoples time

This location has limited parking as most of the spaces are usually taken. Inside is a standard layout and you can usually find students hanging out. I find the staff generally friendly. When there today (around 10:30am), someone was cleaning the dining area and refilling the coffee urns. This was a good thing as the hot water urn was labeled "6am" and was lukewarm. I asked the manager for hot water which was cheerfully provided. The new recipe for the whole grain bagels leaves a lot to be desired. The bagels are now made with spelt which I find dense and tasteless. I really liked the old recipe and will not be ordering whole grain bagels in the future. read more

My dirty little secret? I like Panera Bread. The Sierra Turkey and the Smokehouse Turkey are my favorite sandwiches. A couple of the items are seasonal (Tuscan Chicken Sandwich) so don't get too attached to one item on the menu. The salads are pretty good too. If I can't make up my mind I usually get the "you pick 2" so I get soup or a salad with a sandwich. Why only three stars? The parking. OMG the horrible parking lot that I must circle 3-4 times to then park across the street at 717. Free wi-fi, great sandwiches and coffee, and best of all - they have a rewards card! read more

Well, Panera is Panera, and this location is not much different than the rest of them, but Panera is good, so this place deserves 4 stars. Bread (obviously) is plentiful here, but Panera has also added some pastas and different dishes to their menu over the last few years. Highlights: Asiago cheese anything. Bagels, bread, I don't care. It's all good. Pastries: That chocolate croissant pastry is and always has been one of my favorite sweets. The cinnamon rolls are gigantic, soft and sweet. Soups: Mmm. The soups change daily, but their broccoli cheddar is my favorite. Really creamy and just warms the soul. Free WiFi: You'll see a lot of people here doing work throughout the day, as Panera is a pretty nice quiet location to get some work done. Thumbs up for Panera Bread. read more

I like this location over the westshore/kennedy one only because it's never as busy but this one isn't as convenient for me so I don't normally end up here. My experience today was average for Panera. The service wasn't great. The lady taking our order (who appeared to be the manager) wasn't very friendly and we never heard them call our name so our food sat for a little while before we realized. The egg sandwich I got was good but there was a lot of cheese and it was a little pricy for what it was. I wish it would have come with a side, even just some fruit would have been good. read more

Great fast food that's made with better quality & fresh ingredients. Panera is one of my spots for fast and easy food during times that I don't have the time or patience for sit down dinner and lunches. While in college they basically fed me half of the time! There is a large selection of tasty salads, soups, sandwiches and other sides. I really like their French onion soup and their cheddar broccoli is among the most loved by customers. Fuji apple chicken salad is great with a nice balance of sweet & tangy dressing. Panini & sandwiches are made with fresh baked breads in house every day. They also have delicious bagels, breakfast sandwiches and quiche for early risers. They also offer a nice variety of baked goods for your sweet tooth. Their chocolate Chip cookies are huge & delicious & they usually run out of them toward the end of the night! read more

Had joined the coffee club... great deal...but stopped going to this location.. No issue with Panera food/drink/service ...but the outdoor property upkeep is poor. There are several Panera Breads in Tampa (two in my area) and they are so consistent in quality despite a huge menu and service that you find few differences between the restaurants. I am a sucker for any soup they want to put in those enormous bread bowls. This place does carry a warning. My husband ordered two pastries which are always to his liking. I ordered the Power Breakfast Egg Bowl with Steak. (http://mypanera.panerabread.com/articlestips/article/access-into-paneras-hidden-menu/) Served in a bowl two times larger than the food in it; the tomatoes looked a day old, thin, and pale; the steak sliced thin and uneven (as it would be for a sandwich), and the avocado looked like it was sliced with a fork. The eggs were fine. I'm not naïve enough to expect my food to look as advertised but something a lot closer than what I was served. Another customer standing at the pick up counter asked me if that is what it's supposed to look like! How embarrassing! Ordinarily, I would visit with a manager so she/he could make it right but the whole thing disgusted me. Update: The company replied to an email I sent them. They've made an offer to resolve the issue and I happily accepted. read more
