Jimmy John's is so back baby! This is the 2nd time in the last 6 months that I've been at a Jimmy John's and felt like they did not skimp on the meat, cheese, or toppings. I feel pretty confident that their cheap on meat and a sandwich of bread only era is over with. I've always been a huge fan of the J.J. Gargantuan giant with extra toppings added. It's basically 2 ginormous sandwiches with the most meat Jimmy John's has to offer. And for $25 it feeds me for two meals. I like to order on the app, and then walk over to pick up the food. When you walk in, the food stand for pickup orders is immediately to the left. I will be back for more. read more

This Jimmy John's location went above and beyond with a large delivery order and kudos to the nighttime manager and delivery "driver" for making it happen! Placed the order on UberEats for a scheduled delivery with about a 2 hour window. I called the store to confirm they received the order and she said they didn't see it in the system yet, jotted my contact info down and called me back to let me know it still wasn't there. She took my full order down (which came in less expensive than UberEats), I was able to successfully cancel the order on UberEats, they called me again to confirm delivery instructions to ensure I got the order in time and within 20 minutes my order was delivered by bike and everything was made perfectly to order. read more

I went to Jimmy John's on the bearrs Avenue location. I asked for a grilled sub or hot sub. It comes out burnt so I asked him to make another sub but the thing is they don't ask you what you want on your sandwich as a customer they just continue to slap mayonnaise on it and then ask me if I want oil and vinegar on it after ,are you kidding? This is not how you make sandwiches. You always ask the customer what they want on the sandwich and then the high prices is another thing if I'm paying that price I want what I want on my sandwich not what they want. I traveled to Tampa Bay for their annual beer fest and right before, I went to this Jimmy John's restaurant location. I ordered their #6 with Veggie sub without tomatoes and I had crispy bacon added to it. I also got a quartered whole pickle and a bag of their Salt and Vinegar chips. Food was good but they put tomatoes on my sandwich, when I ordered it without tomatoes, and so I had to pick them off, and then, they put cold bacon on my sandwich, when I had asked them to heat it up. Updated review from 2019: I was promised a refund 1.5 months ago for an incorrect order that I never got, so I called - super super nice people working today (Thursday) from the guy who answered the phone to the manager to the delivery person. Andre is the manager on duty this afternoon and man he is great. He placed a complimentary lunch order (which i agreed to in lieu of a refund) and then personally called me to check if i had received it. The biker was still on the way, so he told me he'd call and check where it was. EXCELLENT manager and service if you ask me. Faith in JJ restored. I ordered a sandwich this morning at 11:30 a.m. for delivery "as soon as possible." While the delivery was fast (11:45 a.m.), my order was completely wrong. I ordered a Club Lulu on french bread, no tomato, no lettuce, bacon, extra provolone, extra mayonnaise and cut in half (no biggie). When I opened my sandwich, it had tomatoes and lettuce on it, no extra mayonnaise and was not cut in half (again, no biggie). The cashier was such a good person. A black lady was preparing our sandwiches she was to nervous and angry. After she finished preparing our sandwiches she thrown our sandwiches in a dirty box and through napkins and told to come grab my food in a very disrespectful way. I asked her if she can put my sandwiches in a bag she started yelling at me. I asked for the manager she said that she is the manager. Starving on a Friday afternoon? Well, I would definitely skip out on this Jimmy John's. I ordered the BLT to split with my friend and at first glance, it looks pretty good. However, the bacon was frozen. Literally, it was colder than my iced coffee. I had to take the bacon out and microwave it myself in the office unfortunately. Other than the food, the service was a hit or miss. When I picked my sandwich, I got it pretty quick. They do live up to their motto "freaky fast." However, on another occasion, when my co-worker ordered her sandwich and got it delivered, the delivery guy told her that if she didn't tip $2 or more, her sandwich would be squished next time. I'm not sure about you, but I don't deal with threats easily, especially from a sandwich shop. I would have easily given this place a three star Yelp review, but just because of all the mishaps, it gets two stars. Really good subs, really good bread, and overall they make some of the best subs in town. Their downfall is their lack of consistency. Specifically when you are ordering delivery like I do 3x a week. I work in downtown and the bulk of my life is spent in meetings so delivery is almost a necessity for me. I went to this place on a Sunday and they had probably just opened. The service is fast and the menu is limited which contributes to their speed. If you're looking for fast, these are your guys. If you're looking for quality, go elsewhere. I ordered a Turkey Tom which automatically comes with mayo so I changed that and added a few things too. They were all on the sandwich but the setup does not make it seem like customization is welcomed because they are trying to go fast. The sandwich was ok at best. It usually takes from 8-10 minutes from ordering online to make it to my suite Downtown. Crazy fast. They aren't kidding with their commercials. Reasons why you should order lunch from Jimmy Johns if you work Downtown and don't want to leave your office: #1- Order online, it's easy. You can set it up to repeat orders too. And no one hears your lunch order, it gets weird when you order the same thing everyday. This way, no one knows. And you are still cool with your office folk. #2- Delivery guys/girls are great. They are nice, they remember your name, and they are fast. So fast. Have I mentioned they are fast? I always tip the delivery person. You should too. Tip an extra buck if it's raining because, I mean, come on. They biked in the rain to bring you a freaking sandwich. Shell out an extra dollar. #3- Sandwiches are delicious. Granted, I've only had one. I order the exact same thing every single time. Vegetarian sub. Add, oil and vinegar, oregano, and salt and pepper.
