Food prep is awful. I have found hair in my food, more than once. The tomatoes would be close to rotten and it's terrible. The last few times I visited the restaurant, it was dirty. Basically, we only order food from there once in a while because there isn't much choice, during that time and we don't cook anymore since we're empty nesters and my husband is my sole caregiver. I would not recommend eating here is you can help it. I would to give this place five stars, I've had issues, every single time. From ordering through "Rapid Delivery" (both from web+mobile), if I save a past order as a favorite & just want to re-order the same thing (my hubby & fam aren't up-to-change), I like to keep an open mind & try possibilities. Since our order is always lacking some piece or items, food or special requests...my hubby has us going to "Noodles" as our alternative. I haven't found something that I really love, exception of mac n cheese w/veggies. I think that having a "finicky" eaters of a family, the things you can't really go wrong, unless u burned it, which is pretty hard. We use our "rewards" at places, now we opt-out at times. My hubby gets scared of retaliation, and he won't ever let me express my feelings for paying (food, sides, etc.), and never receiving the correct order really sucks! I get supposedly "reward(s)" for being a "customer" appreciation for being returning customer it is just so hard to place my "rapid order" and get my discount, utilizing supposedly the "non-wait" pick-up is backwards. When I ask for a bread bowl, I don't get a bread bowl, I do get the soup without the baguette ontop, frustration! Last night, my husband travelled out to the Westminster location so that we could actually get what we order. We have to eat out everyday because of my incapacity to have the stamina long-enough, as we have aged, with many physical limitations and our only other option is really "fast food" burger, fries & soda, which has been even harder on our "health" and my husband believes if we complain too much that the workers would do something bad to our food. Sadly, he's right about that...how many documentaries that has actual interviews of staff and how they retaliate on customers, because they ("staff") are having a bad/off days or what they would do to people whom they believe are "rude" obviously should not be working in an environment of preparing food. read more

I'm not sure where to start. I struggle with this whole concept because I remember where they used to be. Remember when you could go to Paradise Bakery and see them make your salad and your soup would come from the large vats, etc. Today I took my daughter for lunch. She had mac and cheese and I had sandwich and soup. When I walked over to ask about our order, I saw a staff member clipping open a plastic pouch of soup. A plastic pouch of soup that then got added to a bowl and served to a customer. If I'm going to be served a pouch of soup, I think I'd rather buy it from the store and then pay less and not have to tip either. The Panera Bread in Superior - I'm in here several times a month, as it happens to be close to the Bikeway 36 trail. I always find Panera to be a great choice for a healthy meal. They have eliminated all of the additives and artificial flavoring that goes into food and I prefer that. This Panera is like any other. The menu is consistent and the meal is prepared quickly. This location seems to be a little bit smaller than other locations and it didnt have the self serve kiosk that the larger store have, but the service here was pleasant and smooth. I ordered an ice coffee and it was served up quickly and efficiently by an employee that was standing by the pick up counter adjacent to the register. At first I was a little bit confused as to where to go after I made my order as there were no signs stating where the pick up counter was but I heard one of the employees call out my name and it shortly became clear after that. I have visited this location twice in the last six months. Both times the food was average and overpriced. Today I tried the new chicken sandwich. It was smaller than the average sandwich from other restaurants. It was served cold, and I had to ask if this is the way it was supposed to be served. The Manager offered no actual assistance and ultimately did an about face and walked away from me after he seemed annoyed that I asked for his help. Its pretty amazing that Panera puts so much effort into the building, and the food looks amazing but they cant find an employee to just perform at the most basic level. I understand that its almost impossible to hire anyone to care about your business, but somebody has to try. I ran in here to grab a cup of coffee. There were a couple of people ahead of me, but not a line or anything. Three or four cash registers and plenty of employees. I admired the food on display and while waiting to be served decided to grab breakfast for my wife and I. Well, I waited patiently for quite a while and by the time the long line of two cleared and it was my time at the register, the cloaking device activated and I became invisible; it was like being at home depot; whatever you do, don't look up, don't acknowledge the potential customer. This location of the Panera breads is warm and friendly. It has a very sunny disposition to it. The food is the same as any other Panera, but this one is crowded for breakfast and then at mid morning too. I have seen groups of people bringing in a project to work on, sitting by the fireplace, talking - sipping coffee! Cute! It is a decent place to get your breakfast and coffee and Bagels.If it is too busy, they hand you one of those buzzy things that startle you when your order is ready. This is one of the larger Panera Breads I have been too. Spacious and comfortable, with good seating outside. I went for a dinner fix on business travel and was surprised there were a couple dirty tables even though the place was not too busy. Not filthy, just dirtier than your average Panera. The service was very friendly. I had a Thai flatbread, which was very tasty although the bread was a bit cold. The cinnamon crunch scone was delicious. Coffee was OK. You don't go to Panera for the coffee, it is barely acceptable. Overall Panera is a good place for good food at a reasonable price. read more

Partner and I love salads so we ordered the Strawberry Poppyseed Salad for each of us. The menu says it uses romaine lettuce but that is not true. It had non-nutritious ICEBERG lettuce which ruined the salad. Salads here cost more than the nearby restaurants and Starbucks. There were 4 young ladies visiting behind the food prep counter with seemingly nothing better to do while my daughter and I walked around looking for a clean table. I'm not exaggerating when I say there wasn't one. When I walked up to the counter and asked if someone could wipe off a table for is, a young lady came out, sorta of wiped off the table by pushing all of the food and crumbs off the table and onto the chairs. Okay, I was suprised this place was PACKED for breakfast this morning. I wanted to try a new breakfast sandwich on a bagel (they used to only do them on bread) and what I REALLY wanted I was unwilling to drive to the 16th street mall for. The sandwich (blueberry bagel w/ bacon, egg, and cheese) was tasty. MUCH better in my opinion than when I first tried the breakfast sandwich as the blueberry really added a kick. I ordered and it was promptly grilled and ready. I just want to say that one thing I really like about Panera is that their nutritional values are online and EASY to find. While my breakfast was 610 calories it was good to know it had 30 grams of protein. This Panera, like every Panera I've ever been to, fits solidly into the 'fine' category. It's not bad, but it's nothing spectacular either. It's a little over priced in my opinion, though I do give them props for using healthy ingredients in their food. We live close, so we sometimes pick up breakfast and bring it home when we have company. I highly recommend this option since cream cheese costs as much as the bagel you want to put it on! The muffins are good, the scones are dry. Pretty standard bakery stuff. Lunch has some good options. Lots of soups, sandwiches and salads to choose from. They're always changing/updating their menu, and sadly my beloved Italian sandwich is no more. There are plenty of other good options though, including the broccoli cheddar soup in a bread bowl. Yum!! So good...and way more food than I can eat in one meal. Panera To Go is a great tool if you're going during busy times (lunch at this location). You can order online and it will be ready when you pick it up. They always double check your order and I've never had a mistake. This is a fine option if you're close and want a decently healthy meal, but I wouldn't travel out of my way for Panera. read more

We are avid panera-goers & this is the worst panera we have been to. We have tried this location on multiple occasions and they seem to mess up our order every time, but today when we came in it was a different experience. The girl taking our order, Anna, was very rude to other employees. She called out a fellow employee, who was doing his job, reminding him of their 'tables are always clean' policy. She was extremely rude to him when he was cleaning all of the tables as guests left them dirty. There are no stations to take your plates to after youve finished eating at this location. It was pretty busy on this day and instead of helping her fellow employee, she was rude. Then she proceeded to complain about said employee to other customers. I really like this Panera! It's cheery and has great light! (which doesn't explain why I haven't taken any pictures here so far!) I love their soup and salad, soup and sandwich options. I like their black bean soup even though it results in periodic levitation ;-) My daughter likes their French onion soup. I like their Asian Sesame (or its equivalent) salad. I also love their Fuji Apple chicken salad. The apple chips really make this salad what it is. The dressing is also not overly sweet - which is my biggest problem with salad dressings in chain restaurants. And, I love their coffee. I've been to this Panera a few times because I live nearby, but I have no idea what happened to this place. I wanted to try the new Bacon and Tomato Grilled Cheese and it was horrible. $9 for this sandwich and the cheese wasn't even on both sides of the bread and it was rubbery upon arrival. I had 1/2 Chicken Bacon sandwich and a bowl of French Onion along with a baguette and it tasted decent other than the bacon being slightly undercooked. This Panera is different (well, than the California ones, which is all I can compare it to) in that you don't get a number and have your food brought to you but instead have to wait for your name to be called and go up and get the food yourself. Restaurant was decently clean but was semi-full of old people and Boulder stay-at-home moms who were sucking up the free wi-fi. Parking can be chaotic here because it is near a Whole Paycheck (er Whole Foods). Overall a good experience - but nothing special. read more
